I feel so sad for Kang Shin-Jae (from both universes actually). :(
There is something very confusing in this ep 5. She goes to his neighborhood to check if his family met bankrupcy and she meets him. He doesn't recognize her but then he is a shop in the same clothes eating ice cream and drinking with the psychiatrist from the Republic of Korea. Why they make things so complicated to follow when it is already so confusing?

Title 365: Repeat the Year Spoiler
In the last reset, there is something inconsistent. In the beginning it is said that they don't physically travel…
My understanding is that it all begins with the addition of memories at the beginning of the loop on January 11, 2019. So what happens in the loop does not change the addition of memories which determine the actions to come.

I am going to explain myself... :-)

Let's say we measure the memory. A character named Emma has 10 liters of memories as of January 11, 2019. Then on January 11, 2020 She resets and send additional memories let's say 1 liter to her as of January 11,2019. So now as of January 11, 2019 first loop of Emma, she has more memory (+1L) from a year in the future so she changes her actions and changes her future now her present. Then comes January 11, 2020, second reset which sends another 1 liter of memory to Emma as of January 11,2019, second loop. So she has 10+1+1 liters of memories which make her choose and act changing her other future now her new present. But she dies on November 30, 2019. This death does not change the 1L sent by the first reset or the 1L sent by the second reset which made her present life and death.

Comes January 11, 2020 after the death of Emma. A new character named Arthur discovers the Reset. He resets to January 11, 2019, his first loop. On this date he meets Emma. But which Emma does Arthur meet? Emma with 10 liters of memories? 11L or 12 L? ... I believe he meets Emma from her second loop with 12 liters of memories and she will die on November 30, 2019. It is his chance to change that. He does not meet Emma who will reset for the first or second time. It would be anachronism.

This is why I think Ji Hyung Ju who resets for the second time he should meet Shin Ga Hyun after her first reset. She will remember her wheelchair before her reset, her first reset but she will not need to experience the cheating or the death of her friend or the existence of a serial killer. Ji Hyung Ju will make her fall head over heels for him asap and they will move to live happily ever after :-D

Has there been some kind of clue so far that connects the case the detectives are working on in this world to…
The clue is the symbol in the shape of a flower with 5 petals. Detective Gang Shin Jae has his booklet where he writes notes and numbers regarding the cases he works on. He drew this symbol twice and saw it on the saddle of the white horse. He asked Lee Gon what company the logo belongs to and what is their phone number as he has seen the logo previously. Lee Gon said it is a company from another universe and strangely it resemble a lot to the logo of the royal family. So it is possible some people of the Kingdom of Corea using the logo are involved in the gambling rings of the Republic of Korea which are currently investigated by the detectives.

LOL now that you mention it, I find his way of hitting on her very clumsy like he is a newbie at it. His only arguments are: I was looking for you, I am King and you will be my Queen. What??

Loved the story and the acting. I didn't expect it to be 12 episodes so imagine my suprise when it ended. I was…
In the last reset, there is something inconsistent. In the beginning it is said that they don't physically travel back in time but only their memories are sent back and added to the ones of their one self at the beginning of the period January 11, 2019. So Lee Shin resetting 6 times, after the sixth time she have memories of 6 timelines. She remember each of the deaths of her daughter while she is starting a 7th timeline.

After Ji Hyung Ju reset for the second time, he has memories of 2 timelines and the Shin Ga Hyun he meets at the beginning of his 3rd timeline she is at the beginning of her second timeline. So she must remember she resetted 1 time together with Ji Hyung Ju and he cannot be a stranger to her.

This being said I like the ending like it was done. It is more cute, innocent and almost romantic already.

For me, there were two things I waited in the last episodes. one was the cause for sun ho killing and it was,…
I was also upset by the interactions beetween the group of 10 and Lee Shen. She was annoying at times and she deserved to be slapped when she was toying with them. But if they went to hit her and obtain a confession, they would have missed important things that Lee Shen did not know herself for example that Dr Hwang was having the little girl killed every time so probably she could not have been saved at the end of their reset. I was disappointed we have no information about how she is punished for her actions after refusing to reset but I guess it was not the most important thing anymore. I thought overall the story was well handled and the drama was entertaining.

The problem here is so far these two lead characters are stucked in a supposed romance which is not well told. And the plot is messy too. Too many things happening shortly in many places and directions and it makes it not readable and not catchy. Doesn't make you feels something for the leads. The scene where they fight together has no tension. It is just funny. Gang Shin Jae and Jo Eun Sub / Jo Young Michael Jang... are more interesting so far because they have complexity and variety and their actions are more readable and understandable. I think this drama can still save itself if they clarify the plot, catch up a good pace and start building up on the characters of the two leads to make them a bit more likable because they are a bit bland so far.

I agree the show is pushing the romance narrative too quicly. It is like he is supposed to love her because he has been carrying a picture of her for years? She is supposed to fall in love with him just because he is indeed a Charming Prince on a white horse and on a banknote? There was some nice dialogue between them and few real sparkling moments. The visuals effects like the sceneries and slow mo in the library or the suspended time can't create the magic. The magic is in their words and what they do together or one for another. He saying the time stopped so he could see something beautiful made me cringe. It is not what creates chemistry. No obstacle, no difficulty to overcome. They had very few complicity and little understanding and of each other's values and actual personality and challenges. I hope next episodes will correct this as she is entering his dimention and his world.

The plot is so slow. Having trouble understanding the autopsy report. Whose is it? Don't mind watching a little…
Lee Lim , the uncle of Lee Gon went to the Republic of Korea, killed his doppelganger, brought back the body in the Kingdom of Corea and drowned it into the sea with his clothes and his ring. The autopsy report was made by a royal relative Lee Jong In ( let's call him grandad ) on that body. Allegedly Lee Lim is dead. But now the King has doubts as he knows the parrallel universe. Not sure how he got his hand on the autopsy report but he believes something is wrong. This is why he went to see grandad and asked him if he is hidding something from him. And then he gave him the autopsy report. Pretty sure grandad knows Lee Lim is not dead.

The Last Empress sucked big time. Na Wang Shik's ending was because the actor Choi Jin Hyuk who played the character and the production had an argument about the drama being extended. So they decided to have him killed off just like that.

Agree. It is like the writers are trying to sell the romance at any cost even if you have to gobble it but the plot is so confusing and going in plenty of directions.

Review Joy of Life
There are so many plot holes and unexpected twists of the plots. And the Fan Xian is always bailed out in the…
I found the general plot line was well handled. It is true Fan Xian is often bailed out by the emperor or other characters such as Cheng Ping Ping or his father... but they never bail him out only because they like him or want to save him but they have a personal purpose in doing so. It is always part of long scheme and for me the real good thing about this drama is that the schemes are consistent on the long run.

The end is actually a cliffhanger and an excellent one. It makes it even better because it ends with an expectation. If it had ended with a nice moment of him and his gf or he and his campanions looking at the horizon's line it would have been a disappointment.

I really enjoyed this drama because it is a balanced mixture of science fiction, wu xia, adventure, palace plots, humour, family ties, friendship, a bit or romance and with lots of characters I had sympathy for. Good or bad they were all interesting. But ok not everyone share this opinion. I guess people have their own taste and expericences which make them appreciate things differently.
