Shin Jae and Luna would make an explosive couple lol Perhaps he was destined to Luna and not Tae Eul
They are both broken people. They are characters that are tortured and carry a heavy load on their back. I think their meeting can create sparkles a define the direction of the story but I can't believe they will be a couple.
I am totally sure now that Shin Jae is the one who saved Yi gon, this episode shows he is excellent with guns…
I don't see why he would travel in the past to save Lee Gon who is his rival in Love. I sense a very dark secret about him and more precisely about who his father is. The identity of his faher is very intriguing for me.
Pas si nul que ça, mais bon... I don't like too this writer, and Goblin is my favorite boring nightmare drama.…
The problem with the King is he is all powerful and has all the qualities in the world. He treats and talk to people like he wants. He does what he wants. He has no adversity to overcome by showing great character, values of life, sensibility or anything that would make him look human and likable and people would feel sympathy for him. No he is all powerful, unrealistic and boring.
It is same with the way he hits on Tae Eul. He believes it is destiny so his opinion and his aggressive heavy handed way of wooing her is enough to make her fall for him. Their chemistry is non existent because their so called feelings are based on nothing. No game of seduction, no experiences no difficulties shared together, nothing to prove they care for each other.
This is why her chemistry with Gang Shin Jae is better. Because they have a "past" together. They have shared events, hardship, fights, daily routines, a martial art club and challenges, things that make you see they care for each other. They have a real connection. Sadly for Shin Jae things will not go the way he wishes with Tae Eul. Things will even turn bad for him I think.
The drama does not work because it is trying too hard to impress and sell romantic entertaining scenes instead of telling a compelling story. 1/3 of the drama already and we have nice scenes, fun scenes, ruthless scene, but the plot is nowhere. It has not started to develop and it is sad because the characters interacting one with another along the development of the plot is what creates chemistry between them. The whole ep 6 was just another way to sell the idea that the King and the Lieutenant are an item now, a thing a couple and they are dating, working, saving the country and in the end they missed each other so much. But who can believe that if they do not evolve in the midst of the plot? I really hope the pace of the story is going to accelerate now.
Okay what the actual fuck? Totally was not expecting a kiss in ep 5 when they legit don't have any relationship…
Ep 6 they replay the kiss and it feels even more awkward. He is approaching her lips and she is like... "what the hell is happening? Am I in the twilight zone? lol... and the ending of ep 6 OMG. She ran into his arms when she should have asked "Are you not dead yet?"
I liked her in that ep. She was the same person she is in her own world. Someone with a strong personality, rude…
You are asking her to be another person because she is in another world. She would be boring if she was. She plays in this world because she does not take it seriously. Also because the way the King treats her does not incite her to take things seriously. Me I would eat for free and ask them to send the bill to the royal palace and wait for the King to bail me out if they catch me.
There is something very confusing in this ep 5. She goes to his neighborhood to check if his family met bankrupcy…
Yes after rethinking it I agree with you but it is not really needed to have him exatcly in the exact same clothes. Just additional confusion created when they are not lovers and supposedly not thinking about each other at the same time and at the same "place".
Somehow... this drama feels disconnected to me. I'm not sure how to explain this, but I really think something…
That kiss scene and dialogue were so cringeworthy for me... No mutual feelings at all. Obviously he did not won her heart yet and he kisses her like that. He can kiss a dead fish it is same.
I liked her in that ep. She was the same person she is in her own world. Someone with a strong personality, rude and she drinks. Why she would need to respect the etiquette since she was not introduced to the palace following the etiquette? She checks on her "family and friends" because she wants to know is they are doing good. What would you do in a world you know nobody but you know it is parrallel to yours? I would do same. She can steal a bit of joy seing a familiar face. And she does not look in love AT ALL with the King. Not one bit.
I think what would make the romance better is if they never had that “fated to be” connection. No Id picture…
Yes "the fated to be" spoils the romance. He behaves like she is his destiny and tells her she is his Queen to be after 2 meetings? OMG. And that kiss. Seriously, I thought it was so out of place.
