Title Wait in Beijing Spoiler
Any love triangle?
Love multiangle. The main girl has a fiancé and the main guy has a female best friend who likes him but his male best friend likes her and the female best friend of the main girl she likes the fiancé of her friend but she is very open minded so she also likes the male best friend of the main guy. Romance is all over the place but it's pretty fun.

So far ep 14 the main couple is great but the events in China are boring and the way the drama portrays westerners and the western way of life is a joke. Purposely mean and grotesque.

I would say Se Ri was ok. She was using men for her company or playing with them. She said she dated men. The way she was hitting on Jung Hyuk was so obvious. But it was a logical expression of her funny and bold character. She was a CEO, she was above 30 and she totally assumed to like someone. She tried to hit on him and arouse his interest wearing very short dresses. She craved for skinship with him but her feelings for him still felt genuine.

It is the way they portrayed Jung Hyuk that was wrong. OK he is a soldier and a man of duty but they almost told us he is a virgin. Cmon. Like this handsome man would go clubbing in South Korea and still go home unaccompanied because he is too innocent. Althought Jung Hyuk was above 30 it felt like an old Ajhumma hitting on a teen.

The ending was draggy and mushy. After the exchange at the border, they should have just made a small open ending in Switzerland. That would have been better.

In CLOY almost everything just served to sell the mushy romance. It was fun but the romance was so so. She was blatantly hitting on him but he was just like a teen. So disappointing. Btw you won our bet about the ending so you can give your sentence! I am ready to comply. Yes KGE is really not shy on screen but I have a bad vibe about this. It looks planned to be cheesy and romantic.

I agree... he does look... different... I suspect work done?
lol. I would not dare say that with no evidence. Maybe the army made him skinnier and he was absent a long time.

im not a fan both leads acting skills but the story sounds fun
The story has potential. I am quite curious to see how they are going to make the two worlds interact and how the main girl will fight her own doppelganger. Pretty interesting.

an open ending would be perfect. ;-)
SK dramas are not the worst when it comes to bad endings or even horrible endings. CN dramas are much worse. And I don't think being from a different wold is a problem as long as you can leave your world behind to adopt the one of your partner. It is something a commoner already do when marrying a Royal even in her own world.

Of course we can all relate but what I mean is you cannot always completely embrace the extent of a situation and you naturally select a piece to make your own the emotion. If a scene shows a woman suffering while she is delivering with her husband next to her, we can all understand she is in pain and he is helpless but you will naturally place yourself in the shoes of the man if you are a man. The scene will remind you of the feeling you had in this situation and the emotion you have is your own. If you are a woman, your would naturally feel something closer to the woman. So self identification in natural and we don't all live every movie or drama the same way this is why we can have different appreciations and opinions.

I believe that to really enjoy a show or a story you need to be able to put yourself in the shoes of the person. When a hero and his girl fight their enemies I would care more about the man since I am a man. I feel closer and I can identify myself to Iron man more than the Black Widow even if I love her character. I think it is a human process to self identify to understand and live better the situation described. But that's my own opinion and how I enjoy movies or dramas or books. All the answers I receive including yours I agree with them. There are people who find a satisfaction in watching or writing BL while they are straight because they just like a good story or they want to avoid misogyny or they can have good feelings of accomplishment or be happy for the characters without sharing their sexual orientation. And that's all that matters I guess.

I'm not a BL fan, but I've read some BL manga before and I can sort of understand why some girls would enjoy it.…
Don't you think it is strange to drool over 2 guys who would not drool over you at all because they are gay? Must be quite the situation to be in love with a gay person when you are straight.

I love Ji Chang Wook and Kim Yoo Jung. They look like the age of their character. They are great actors I am sure they will do good and deliver a great chemistry and a nice drama if the writing and the storyline do not suck like in Melting me softly.

damn I really wanna watch this but the amount of negative reviews are a bit overwhelming
It's not that bad. The romance is mushy. Very mushy like in a novel of Barbara Cartland. But there is also adventure, fights and wars, several interesting characters and a good vilain. Try it for some ep. then you can decide. Personally I enjoyed it.
