Very little romance and not very sparkling.

For me You Who Came From the Stars was bland I don't even remember what it was about. But I won't say it too loud as plenty of people like it. In both drama I feel like the writers are using narrative schemes to make it cute and magic but it is a bit too much. For example the piano song and the watch are overly used to bring emotional moments while the plot is lacking consistency and substance indeed. Hope this one will en better.

I read the synopsis about King's woman and it looked weird so I did not watched it. If I knew this one would be an infamous ending also... Wasted time. Hope 2020 will bring much better chinese dramas.

Here is the end of the story:

At the beginning, a Sect Master was killed by the King as his own girlfriend betrayed him and poisoned him to side with the King as Queen. Towards the end, it is revealed that ML is the reincarnation of that Sect Master who used his special Kung Fu skills to replicate his soul and souvenirs into the body of a young boy: the ML who was raised by the FL as her nephew. King learns the truth and gets mad. ML gets his hands on an ultimate sword to allow him carry his revenge. Queen remembers she only loved the Sect Master. She and the King have heated disputes in bed. He accuses her of still loving her ex. She tells him he is the one who can't let go. Queen wants ML to be brought to her by her maid warrior. The maid warrior brings FL back instead. Queen recognizes her as the girl Sect Master used to chit chat as acquaintances. She hates her and she is jealous. They argue. He is mine. No he is mine now. They fight. FL is badly injured. ML goes to find her in the tavern. Queen is here and opposes. Says she love him. He is deaf to her words. ML says to FL he wants to take her to their home: anywhere together. Queen is super pissed off now. She stabs him with a sword. ML lead doesn't care. Takes the FL away with him but she dies later in his arms. Queen is enraged. She goes to see the King. She immobilizes him with a needle. She opens the door of the palace and wait for ML who is coming with his sword chop the royal couple into pieces. ML arrives. He is very angry. She welcomes him . Hey let's get back together she says. This is our palace and this is our country. He doesn't give a sh!t. She is pissed again and desperate. She fights him. He cut her cheek. She knows now... It is over. She jumps on his sword and dies. The King is saved from the needle for some reason. He arrives and sees the Queen dead. He wants to fight ML but ML says I let you live and save the nation from the ragging war. He leaves the palace. The King survives and rules. ML becomes an hermit and remembers the time shared with FL. THE END.

OMG! PMY can still portray a schoolgirl. lol. I really like her.

I want more developments about him. How he is going to plead his case with Seri's family. And another reason to keep me watching this is how they are going to make this bad apple and the second female lead end together... Or not. I doubted their couple was possible but I think they look good together.

I tastes a bit like fantasy because the North Korea depicted in the drama clearly does not exist. It's a pamphlet using exegerated elements of North Korea. Furthermore some elements of the story are quite unrealistic. How can they suddenly cross the DMZ just stepping over one barbwire? How can they send a bunch of soldiers to the South to find Captain Ri when they are not trained spies for undercover situations? The reasons why all these people are now in the south is very precipitated. The NK officer going to chase and kill Seri that does not really make sense for me.

I am referring to the guy in green sweatsuit. He is a North Korean agent infiltrated in South Korea in a movie called Secretly greatly. I think it means nothing it's just a wink.

Yeah had the same feeling for this drama too. Lol.

I hated him at first but truth is he has great character's development and he even looks quite sympathetic now. For me he is the most interesting character so far because he has some complexity at least.

I think they are trying too hard to make it romantic and nice when the story is just draggy and thin like a toilet paper. Lots of nice things in this drama ( the main actors, the second leads, the friendship between soldiers or women of soldiers, the satyre...) but with no great writing you are going nowhere. The story is just overly cheesy and bland.

Yeah but he died in that movie... Sad.

The plot would have been great without that prosopagnosia thing.

I fear for his life...

He will find out she is alive but I don't hink his role will prominent in the next eps.

It's possible her father arranged this but if it is the case, he surely has fine ears, quick brains and long arms...

Means she is leaving for good.

Personally I am just fed up with Vengo and Dilraba in a drama... This is going to be a huge fail.
