Talented!! Damn congrats on the poem's being published - I rememeber in English class in high school they made us write poems (ughhh, the hardest task possible). I don't even like writing essays - I am a Science major lol so of course those things are my natural enemy lol. At least you have a good reader base - I was worried that people would stop reading. It feels like reading has started to become obsolete & people don't buy books the way they used to. Like even amongst my friends - I am the only one that still reads on a regular basis. Like I feel with the new age of Netflix - people are likely to absorb content through the television then want to read. It kind of sucks - I feel like Barnes & Nobles is the only bookstore really still open & who knows for how much longer.

Yea & the worse thing is - not like they get paid like Hollywood standards. Like here the actors might get like 500,000 - 1 million an episode, depending on how good the show is & the actor. But in China - they definitely don't get paid as much. So, like backlisting an entire drama because of 1 person is just crazy & unfair. Her drama was like the first actual scandal I have witnessed - the other scandals were just plain stupid or dumb or had nothing to do with the actual actor. And majority of the scandals are - oh this person is dating. Like really? They are human - like of course they going to date. But her scandal was bad - like you willingly wanted 2 babies & because the circumstances changed you just want to throw them away like a used handbag? Like if it wasn't for the ex that actually returned to America - those kids would just be thrown into an adoption.

Rofl, I also only got Prime because of the shipping. Prefer to get my items right away since I do a lot of my shopping on amazon - and I also have the amazon credit card so if you have prime they like double your rewards. So, it pays for itself in the end. Yea, I got Netflix back when it was like 6.99 (now its 13) & they actually had good content. But as the years went by they started losing that content & just jacked up prices because they had "original" content. Like I enjoyed daredevil & the punisher but then they lost it because disney+ wanted a piece of the action. Too many streaming services - wished it was just 1.

Episode 24 & 25 were good - I actually liked the battle scene. In the beginning I was like what is going on? But it get's better. Damn, someone really spoiled it for you lol - since 9 rings guy doesn't appear until I believe the 25th episode. But the most interesting episode to me was definitely the 26th - there were so many questions I had & theories at the end of it. I think 26 is like where the series takes a turn. I am going to watch 30 & 31 - hopefully tonight - from the previews I am most excited for 31. When you get upto episode 26 - we can discuss our favorite stalker Hu Lie Na some more lol.

Me too - I just feel like I am already behind with all the content for Douluo. Like the BTS scenes & episodes - & if we throw Oath of Love in it, I will just be lost!

Oh, your learning Chinese? Nice, at least you won't have to be trying to multitask by reading the subs & looking at the screen at the same time lol. I wished I had time I would try to learn Chinese through Duolingo lol.

I personally don't really like many modern C-dramas - I think I prefer the modern K-dramas more. Like I tried meteor garden but felt the story line was repetitive - like too many misunderstandings over & over again. But I do like the Lost Tomb/Sound of Providence series - but that's mainly adventure like dramas.

Perfectly fine - we all tend to mix things up. And I am horrible with names in general lol.

I do wish they showed the spider legs more - I feel we only saw it twice so far :/

If you watch episode 26 & still not feeling the plot - then this drama might not be your cup of tea (completely fine, it probably won't be a lot of people's favorite). I feel episode 26 is like where a lot of the plot starts coming together & u kind of start seeing the big picture. So, I believe if people don't like it by 26 - most likely they won't like the show in general.

She absorbs souls? It looked like she just like mind manipulated people and then like some how transforms into them, sort of like an illusion type of magic.

But to be honest - she just screams stalker vibes. Like even her power is like ideal for a stalker.

I can't believe they are trying to ruin my ship between the Master & Headmaster by adding the new female character. Like sorry there is no more room on this ship. The Master & Headmaster will be Endgame.

So, we finally have Hu Lie Na reveal her true intentions to the audience. But she really isn't Hu Lie Na at all but actually Bi Bi Dong's daughter (I forgot her real name). And what exactly is she doing now by taking the face of the Crown Prince - like what is going on? She also says she wants to "replace" Mu Bai - so does that mean she wants to do what she is doing to the Crown Prince? Like kidnap him & then take Mu Bai's face so she can make a move to get the thrown from Mu Bai's brother? Like seriously I have a ton of questions now - like I always knew she didn't like Mu Bai on a romantic level but it seems that it is a lot more intricate than that.

And we finally understand why they wanted to poison that girl at the forest. It was all because of the 9 soul ring master. Like this story is getting so interesting. The people from Cang Hui School poisoned the grand daughter - just so they could poison the 9 soul ring master. Like seriously - whoever is the master mind definitely is a genius for being able to think ahead like that.

Tang San also finally enters the school so he can maybe meet his father or whoever is the mastermind. But of course they end the episode with another cliffhanger - *flips a table*.

Episode 26 - best episode by far!!!

I swear if she kidnaps someone - I called it. She got that stalker/Ted Bundy vibe in her lol.

I just googled Alpaca & Llama and still think it looks like an Alpaca - but they look so alike that I don't even think it matters lol. It's still cute as hell. Like the scene where the Alpaca/Llama walks out while it initiated the sand storm - I was like I know this is supposed to be bad ass but I can't take it seriously because it's too cute lol. Like yea he can destroy the entire town but Cute much lol. Yea, the sand storm definitely had the Mummy vibes - I was waiting for Imhotep's face to appear & just swallow the entire town up lol. I can definitely see the plot picking up finally - especially in episodes 24 & 25. Like we get so many new characters - and it's absolutely so interesting. Like the guy with the 9 rings - like umm excuse me dude where did u come from & why do u want Tang San? I absolutely hate that in every episode I got 10 more questions that need to be answered & they leave off every episode with like a cliffhanger. Like screen writer can u stop being evil please. I watched Joy of Life, so I knew it would start off slow because the other drama did as well. Only like during the last few episodes did the story really pick up. So clearly this was probably going to be the same.

I would consider Alien a sci-fi as well - since it is also a futuristic concept that has advanced science technology lol. Oh that's interesting you actually have prime but not Netflix. I thought everyone had Netflix - even though I feel like Netflix isn't as great as it used to be. And they always increase their prices but tend to never give good content. I prefer Prime over Netflix - but that's just me. I already told my friend that if they make Netflix $15 then I will be leaving.

That is why I prefer to separate the art from the artists. Because a lot of times it isn't just them that worked on that piece - there are like a thousand other people. So kind of sucks when all of them can no longer get recognition for their work anymore. Like I know there was a recent drama in Chinese Entertainment where a female in Love O2O got banned & her dramas would no longer get recognition. Which I feel is so messed up - like she is just 1 person. There are like other actors that also took part in it. Like punish the person not the entire team.

Yea poetry is considered a form of art - which I am not good at lol. I think it is fascinating that people can do it - like Eminem who is great at rapping & can manipulate words to make a song. Absolutely talented - I however can't so I just like to marvel. Fan fictions are interesting - like do you do it because you get paid or because you just enjoy it?

Ahhh, ur right. Since you travel you can also get to meet them in person - which I think meeting in person is a lot more fun lol. But during the pandemic - the best you can do is talk online really. Lol, I tried watching the Olympics & just thought it was boring :/ . . . maybe I am not into individual style competitions.

Mhmmm - The Mummy 1 & 2 would actually be in my top 30 movies. Mummy 1 probably top 10 :D lol.

Finally someone said it. Da Mu Bai is like Hu Lie Na doesn't like me - it just looks like a hunter looking at it's prey. Which is super accurate. I love how in the recent episodes - people have finally acknowledged how stalker like she is. And she keeps going to places that no one invited her too - like go away u stalker!!

I think everyone as the same question as you lol. The Headmaster finally decided to kick her out when they were going to go on their journey. But she was like NEVER, I am going the same way - so let me join you. I was just like 0.o . . . .go your own way stalker!!!! Headmaster was just like *rolls eyes* w.e.

Like once she mind controlled Mu Bai - everyone should have packed her bags & made her go her way. Like sorry - stalking is one thing but using someone as a puppet is where you need to draw the line.

Yea I learned my lesson - and told my brothers to go & do it lol. One sprained ankle is good enough. Yes very toxic lol. Yea my cellphone service is fine when it comes to Verizon - even better than my friends who have like other carriers. But Fios has like emotional tantrums whenever it feels like it lol - there would be like a 1 hour increment where they just turn my internet off for absolutely no reason - under the disguise of "maintenance". Like ummm I was just in the middle of something - and BAM internet gone. I am like a huge NBA/NFL fan (mostly NFL) so I tend to watch more sport news - however I will watch political news but not on the regular. Weather - I just check the weather app on my phone which tends to be wrong like 60% of the time (random number) lol.

I deactivated my Facebook - it just seemed boring & always some weird propaganda floating around on it. I am like a very lazy person when it comes to social media lol. Even though I made a twitter to follow XZ - I like go on it once a week lol. But I do think it's cool that people can meet people online & become friends through common interests. Kind of expands your horizons in a way.

Yea, like when I read the news on him - I was like not really surprised because there seems to be a lot of slimeballs that are coming out in Hollywood. Like how dare you treat the women like that - especially when he himself is ugly. The women on the set are extremely beautiful - & this man found faults in them. Like okay . . . .clearly someone didn't own a mirror. You kind of dive into the whole "should we separate the art from the artist". I personally think we should lol - mainly because theres just too many artists at this point that are slime balls. So, you like writing fanfic? - someone is very good with words. I have horrible imaginative skills lol - so I could never write a book. But love reading them lol.

Next year or so? Ooo, that's asking for a lot lol. But I can see why, especially since they are aging. But the schedule is gonna be tough - especially since filming takes like 4 - 6 months. Unless, her next project is Princess Agents 2.

Starship Troopers kind of reminds me Aliens - the way you describe it lol. I actually enjoy 90's movies so maybe I will watch it. Hopefully netflix or prime has it lol.

And Rong Rong is really encouraging to Ou Si Ka - like his magical props. She was like omg these are so cool - while I was like umm is it? They are just props lol. But clearly the props were useful. Idk if you saw the episode with the Alpaca - I was like is this thing supposed to be ferocious? I get more of a cute/cuddly vibe lol. Like he walking in - like yes I am a boss bringing in all this sand but looking cute as hell lol.

I only remember the first 2 movies lol. I never heard of no Mummy 3 or even the remake - what are those? But the first 2 - just perfection. Rick o'Connell!!!

I would say he is more like Dr. Octopus than Spiderman with all those legs lol. And they both got metallic like limbs as well.

I hope not lol. Like I prefer it to have a cleaner ending, mainly because who knows if the entire cast will be there for the second season.

I see it as like if your married to someone - & someone tells you that they saw them at the mall with someone else. Most people would have doubts or at least question if it is true or not - like are they cheating. So, that's why I can understand Tang San kind of having doubts because it's very human to do so. And more reason for him because he knows nothing of his father's past life.

I think he has definitely gotten more into Tang San's life now - ever since they kind of mentioned his dad after they got out of the forest. Like it's starting to get more Tang San centric.
