Wow, that was really beautifully put. And totally get that now. Didn't think of it so deep but makes sense as well - Zhu Yan was just going on and on. I jsut thought she was talkative lol. But it makes more sense with how u put it because the flowers kept blooming while she was talking. Shi Ying just had that 1 moment - so it shows how they are both so different and how their lives were.

I am trying to decipher that release schedule - they tend to give hints on what the episodes will be aboout lol. I am guessing the stabbing happens in like episode 35-36? I was hoping for it to be sooner 🤣🤣🤣. Give me the pain already!

Ummm. The first 2 episodes are mostly to understand the background of the 2 leads so it might not capitvate u right away (a lot of long dramas 35+ episodes tend to start a bit slow because they are trying to world build - almost all of them do). I know in the most recent episodes it has more action and we meet with most of the supporting cast members as well so maybe try a few more episodes to see how u feel about it.

However, dont force urself if u aren't feeling it because it will just not make the experience any fun for u. I just know one of my favorite c-dramas I didnt really get into it until like episode 9 or 10. :) But just have fun

Very childish indeed. I mean I get that she is 16 and stuff or younger but can't she . . .idk act like a princess at times. I know somoene said she is the princess of like a tribe where they are more rougher but it seems like she is a bit too spoiled. Even Shi Ying was like. . .wow ur spoiled (something like that lol).

I am biased as a Xiao Zhan fan lol. Putting that here beforehand so u can weigh my comment as u see fit lol.

The drama is beautiful cgi wise and I am loving a lot of the supporting cast members. The plot isn't too convoluted like most xianxia dramas in my opinion - u can understand what is going on without too many things hitting u at once. A bit too early to really give a clear answer but if ur not into fantasy element dramas where 2 people aren't meant to be together but still fall in love - maybe u won't like it. But if that stuff intrigues u (pain & angst) - go for it lol. And u also said ur not into Xiao Zhan's acting and he is the ML - even though I think his acting is great ur opinion might differ on that ( (totally cool btw, I am a fan but I also understand not everyone will love his acting 100% - everyone has their own attraction of what they like or not kind of have to try it to find out lol)

So far Shi Ying is pretty smart or else he would have killed Zhu Yan already. I think he knows what is good and bad and how crazy the Grand Priest sounds lol. Well maybe not crazy but thinks he is jsut wrong about things.

I understand that she got upset but I just don't get how ratting her out was going to benefit her lol. Unless she thoguht the prince wasn't going to come out nad say it was him that was her lover because of course her father would be okay with her daughter being with a prince - who wouldn't?

i feel like the elder sister is strange to me because in teh recent episode she actually did save the younger one. I understand they would have both failed if 1 failed. . ..idk lol. Its confusing. i cant really read her lol. I feel her type of character is in a lot of c-dramas wehre they dont really kill but they do scheme a lot. So I don't know if I should dislike her or not.

They want u to believe so but in reality we know that is the case. They most likely used that account as their back up account so people won't know whose fan they truly are. And when a drama of someone they dislike comes out - they can rate it a 1 star without anyone finding out.

The thing I dont understand is why can't they just rate it a 1 and not leave a comment as well. That is how I know they are an anti - many people will dislike a drama but usually from what I have seen they will give reasons or wont even comment because they don't want the hate. For a person to actually comment they gave it a 1 shows they want to fight and they just enjoy the fighting.

Me neither. I don't understand the hate sometimes. Personally I have dropped WAY TOO many dramas lol but I never rate them becaues I feel like I never get far enough to have a right to rate it. Only if I finish it will I give it a rating. And even my most disliked dramas I would never give it a 1 to be honest. But . . . people are different and I have realized being on MDL that some people will hate on something just to make themselves happy or make other people unhappy. It is tiresome but got to get past it - does ruin the experience though won't lie lol.

ROFL right? I saw him in the casting and I was like okay so he playing the villain for sure lol. I mean I dont think he is the big bad but he is definitely not playing a good guy lol. This guy is just telling people to kill anyone on SITE.

Lol, idk if that is but it seems like it in the clips I saw. Because Zhu Yan hugs him or holds him - and he just turns into the gerbil/mouse/cat like thing lol. I think he might be turning into that willingly rather than involuntarily.

Why have enemies when u can have friends? like the Grand Priest? He doing more killing that the actual bad guys.
