Found this channel on utube called Korean Classics and subscribed. This movie was included. Without posting a spoiler I would simply recommend it to fellow viewers. The women in Korea were so beautiful and natural looking 30 plus years ago. The acting was good, the scenery was spectacular, the editing was good and the ending --- well predictable but does not take away from the quality of the movie.
Not writing any spoilers - enjoyed all of the episodes - scenery, acting, directing, editing and the fights -- all of those fights from beginning to end were icing on the cake for me to watch every night. Sorry it ended -- season 2 is a long wait - still waiting for ending to Tribes and Empires. Getting accustomed to this in many dramas - however, this is a MUST SEE! DIdn't drop my rating because of any disappointments - my only disappointment was it ended.
So, we have reached the end. Twelve Nights started of as a divine piece of art, then it fell off the canvas or…
You have painted in words the essence of this drama. It was a work of art in someone's mind - but I will add that it lacked what a true romanticist would have expected - some form of intimacy. (especially the length of time of the relationship ) and the sacrifices made to sustain these consequences of "fate." I was only displeased with episode 12 - the slow-talking (almost as if they had speech impediments) to give a sense of poetry was not just working for me. Loved most of the episodes - the ending - I felt like they should have crossed the street and passed each other -- relationships don't grow on mere coincidences - but input and effort by both parties -- none of that happened in this drama. Infatuation for the moments pf encounter is what I felt at the end of this long time span.
I was impressed and moved to the point of tears. Very sad story, good acting , directing, story telling and camera work -- worth the time spent. SInce there were only 3 episodes the chemistry wasn't completely developed but it is a powerful story for anyone that has been in love and had to sacrifice because of circumstances beyond their control. A must see. Have searched for the original song - unable to find so far.
A waste of time watching last 8 episodes . Good start - absolutely poor execution of story telling, direction and use of two extremely talented actors. They try to save the drama but definitely one I put on my do not watch recommendation list . Couldn't even finish the last 15 minutes I became so frustrated with this story.
okay. I found it illogical that you meet a guy and try to sleep with him as a way to stop your mom's wedding. I found it illogical that after the guy finds out your "lowdown motive" - you are "forever" friends. I found it illogical that the mom-daughter relationship was so easily restored. I found it illogical that the grandmother's friend was marrying the dying daughter to basically help her. I just found this story a fantasyland type of story. I am amazed at the "easy" reconciliation when most dramas spend 40 to 50 episodes of "revenge: as a cultural phenomenon.
This show is so funny. Reminds me of an ongoing Saturday Night Live skit. Great comedic relief from some of the serious dramas I have been watching. Depending on your taste in jokes it can be viewed as pushing the envelope between clean jokes and dirty jokes. Found it on Netflix by accident.
It's a masterpiece! Yes, there are some controversial points (especially in the last episodes) but still, I do…
On episode 41 and have been marathoning daily for the holiday. I am mesmerized by the acting and the costumes. The flirting, scheming, plotting and depth of story is also a draw. What I find is you can't miss one word so I am glued to the chair watching and rewinding if distracted for a moment. I believe it is a masterpiece as well and will continue to watch. After losing DF I subscribed to Ntflix and discovered this drama -- hope to find more of the same as time goes on. Also watching Story of Yanxi Palace which is excellent (finished RUYI before DF folded)
Could you plz give me a mn idea about the story your way plz ? I want to understand what it is exactly about ,thank…
My favorite - right now - is Love Heart aka Fluttering Warning. They are cute and excellent chemistry. Still trying to find the "perfect" Chinese romantic drama - even the best always fails at the end with poor tunnel vision writing.
no one hadn't seen this drama yet to write a review?
I saw it (all 48 episodes) but I didn't feel like it was worth a review because we all have personal taste and I found this drama by accident, loved the lead actor, became addicted then dragged myself through the remaining 48 episodes of flashbacks and probable situations. A lot of fast forwarding I must confess. More thoughts like " is she going to continue to be stupid", "is the mother going to continue to be a typical a-hole", is the brother really going to insist on being with his married brother's wife. A lot of people dropped it because no matter what - there are quality dramas out there and time is precious.

It would contain many spoilers so I am hesitant to do that. There are summaries on various sites. For purposes of choosing to watch or not I would say it is a basic love story that at times is extremely romantic and at others its extremely boring and frustrating. There is nothing unique about the story telling - a mix of various themes and unnecessary obsessive disorder type behaviors.
I'm happy you two chose something you're enjoying ^^ I wish I could have listed more reasons but this article…
I rate him in the same league as Ji Sung, Yoo in Ah and Jang Hyuk. He is truly a diverse and talented actor and this role has made me respect him more for his choice of this role. You are right I am watching Moo Young more than anyone else.
dirty but did not want to discourage because some people are overly sensitive and can excuse a few in passing.
