All the doctors I know, know their maths. Besides I 'm talking about 100 million kwon for 10 years. Rewatch the scene entirely if you don't understand. That is something an elementary school student know. Anyway it's not FL hating, since I'm watching this drama for the actress. It's a critic of the writing of the drama and the scene that I kept mentioning all the time, thank you very much.
You can like something but also objectively acknowledge their imperfections. Besides it's not only maths, it's the FL's ability to reason and to have that reflex to question things, she could have taken her calculator but she didn't. The writers didn't think of it, because they wanted to make that scene a comedy by portraying her as absent-minded, which is something a doctor shouldn't be. The writing was clearly questionable on that part, because they wanted to have a comic situation that was unecessary imho.

Pardon me to say that, but your reasoning reminds me of Sherlock series, when it was said that Sherlock didn't know Earth turned around the Sun because he didn't need that kind of information for his deductions. So I binge watched the first 4 episodes. If this drama had aJapanese isekai novel title it would have probably been " I'm the Reincarnated Lover of a Serial Killer God of Death Who Only Listens to My Voice" lol.
The first episode was pretty dense of different elements. It really seemed like the writer wanted to rush all the little plots to get to the main plot for the second episode. The first episode's plot could have easily been portrayed in 2 or 3 episodes for how dense it was.
The FL fell in love right away with the ML, but the ML wasn't that much developped, same for the villain. Any story should have a good villain. We don't know why Do Jin Woo's mom got killed by the villain. The villain isn't developped at all. How much power does he have? What is his ambition and relationship with Do Jin Woo's mom? Will Do Jin Woo appear again or is it just Kokdu now? Besides we don't know how exactly Do Jin Woo fell down the roof. Everything seemed rushed. Then the next episodes were slower paced. The difference of the pace between epsiodes was very huge. Honestly the drama could have been better if the editing of the scenes have been done in a better way, and the lines given to the characters better written. It gives Star Wars 2 flashback, not to mention that Kokdu's always killing people by choking them, just like Vader. I guess he's the Korean Version of Darth Vader lol.
What the drama is missing actually is showing the depth of the characters, they seem too one dimensional in my opinion. They lack character development. The relationship between the characters go so fast that you have no idea what's going on. It's difficult to understand what's the relationship between the female doctor who gives nosebleed with the FL and Do Jin Woo. The explanation is too short.
The pros are still: -the FL's brother. I'm happy that in this drama they had the siblings of the MC more involved in the story, and that they decided that the guy who played the cop wouldn't be the love rival. I got fed up with the cliché of the cop being the 2ML urgh. But instead we've got a love rival who's pretty much bland as a character.
-they don't drag down a stupid plot for 10 episodes at least. Everything is resolved in the same episode or the next one. Kokdu finally knows in episode 4 that the FL is his gal from a past life. Their relationship is going pretty fast, there's no shy blushing and stuttering for 10 episodes. They go right to the point.
-the acting is good, could have been better in my opinion, but with the editing and directing of the scenes done really bad, it doesn't help at all.
I watch it because I love the genre and because of Im So Hyang. And it makes me laugh so much when each time there's a drama talking about lovers in a past life who met a tragic fate, one of them has got powers and finally meets their reincarnated lover in modern times, there's always people who scream "ThIs IS ExaCtLy lIkE GoBLiN! " XD lmao.
Tales of the Nine Tailed, Mystic Pop Up Bar, Hotel Del Luna, From Now On Showtime and many more dramas that I probably forgot to mention have the same kind of plotline ;)
I read some chapters of the webtoon but I don't know why, I didn't like the story. Maybe because the villains are so cliches, more villainous than them is pretty difficult to find, even Disney villains pale in comparison. And the love story is also cliche. Idk how the drama will unfold. Let's give it a chance.
