That is a risk no matter if they have a screen kiss or not. I like Ren Jialun and of course he should respect his wife's feelings. That said, I am not keen to watch him in romance roles.

Haha, I am not there yet... I just started 3rd Prince hasn't emerged at all. I just saw sparks fly between the pirate and Fu Rou, they were antagonistic sparks but nonetheless I felt they had better eye contact and chemistry.

Thanks much for the color - if the story is interesting I don't mind the separation. I love Tang period in general and the costumes are wonderful! I rarely watch for modern c-dramas unless they are crime thrillers even though I like Ren Jialun.
