She has great survival instincts, that's really refreshing.
Yeah I would like to see her also grow and advance from here.

OMGG this drama is airing I just hope it doesn’t go down the hill
Trust me, it pretty much started at the bottom of the hill. Can only go up from there.

The only reason I finished AWL is there was nothing else to watch and the thread was hilarious - everyone was willing to make fun of their idols in a good natured way. IMHO LYX would make a great Count Dracula with his dark deep set eyes and pallid skin. But his fan wielding skills fall way short of your Vincent Jiao. I used to love Miu Kiu Wai's Chor Lau Heung's fan but its too old I can't find clips anymore.
For this year's shows, I thought the fighting scenes in Love in Between were among the best. Also Heroes was very good and high impact although they used a bit of slo-mo. My little niece who competes in wushu loved it she kept re-watching the fight scenes.

and I'm glad she is not spoiled even from a noble family who has not been trained in martial arts.
I did not survive ELOD... I managed to squeak past the fox monologue but I was defeated by the handkerchief monologue.

We should make a real list list of this. The drama "queens" of 2020. And to avoid doubt, this is not meant in a good way...

By my count, that's the third blade he has given her. Hmmm
Hmmm indeed... Let's keep a count going.

Well in the spirit of being equal opportunity about it Duke An needs to be there too.

Yeah the only annoying girls in this drama are Li Cheng and his sister!!!

Exactly - for once they made the dude an airhead! Role reversal every now and then is great!

A bit New Zealand Maori haka dance vibe was there, Zhao Yan and Ying Zheng convo was something.
Hahahaha.... Maori haka is spot on!!!

Title Qin Dynasty Epic Spoiler
The dancing soldiers was so funny:
It was specifically designed to tease Zhao Yan and intimidate him at the same time... We are getting some great psychological warfare here. Its delicious how eye opening the magnificence of Qin must be for Zhao Yan and the word sparring just cracks me up.

Funnily I hope I am wrong because otherwise, we are going to get more of the same for a whole bunch of post-covid dramas. Although I am told in China, right now they don't have to mask up as much anymore as they have the situation largely under control. I do remember though LOF was shooting during the WORST of the pandemic so they were probably hit hardest.

Yeah I feel the same way about the fight scenes. The ballet like flitting around has its moments but lacks impact. It looks more like being tickled by a feather instead of kicked and punched but as you point out, that is the way it is now.
