Yes it should be open all year. Its huge, you need days to visit it properly. There are about 10 studios but when they are shooting some studios or parts of them are closed to tourists. I think there are also specific private tours that take visitors into watch shoots. We plan to make private arrangements to visit some sets during shooting. Its actually a fantastic experience - my cousin who works on film shoots has shown me many great photos.

Yups was supposed to be our annual girls trip last year but along comes a pandemic... But China will open border to me soon and some of my friends live there so we should be able to do it this year.

Well even if I don't make the concert I fully intend to stalk them during my girl's trip to Hengdian...

Well there is a good chance I be with you - we were planning to do Hengdian at the same time but just realized its right smack in the middle of the May holiday week which means the whole of China is going to be traveling. It will be a zoo!

This is a good interpretation of the title, which a literal translation does not do justice to. The title has many layers of meaning and in this rare case, I think the English translation actually does capture part of the essence of the Chinese title. The "promise" or word of honor extends beyond just YBY's promise wrt to Ghost Valley. It begins with ZZS's promise to see Chengling to safety, his promise to his shifu wrt to Four Seasons Manor etc.

Couldn't agree more - I never really jumped in on all the who is the husband or who is the wife conversations because to me they each were a bit of both. And let's be honest here WKS pulls off all the girly colored outfits with style and panache!

Nice job laying it all out - the show does indeed present old wuxia and romance tropes in a fresh way to tease hardcore fans of both genres. It was very skillfully and intriguingly achieved and had me clapping my hands in glee throughout the drama. For me, I think one of the most interesting aspects is that Jin Yong (and Gu Long) were particularly fond of morally ambiguous, unconventional or slightly wicked female characters - Huang Rong, Zhao Min, Xiaolongnu etc. I l just love that WOH goes one step further to pair up two grey characters although arguably ZZS is darker than WKS.

Indeed and that is why the consensus is that she is Li Shimin's daughter. I am just pointing out even if she were not, his feelings for her makes sense.

It is obvious that Li Shimin loves Changge very much, as if she were his daughter. But even if she wasn't, his feelings for her are very understandable. She would still be niece, the daughter of his brother and the woman who was probably the love of his life.

Well they were probably educated together by the same palace tutors given that they are both princesses. But given their very different personalities and interests they just excelled at different things - Leyan obviously loves embroidery and Changge obviously does not. Li Shimin probably hoped that their interests and skills would compliment/rub off on each other - he did mention he wishes Leyan is more fearless like Changge.

That means they licensed the rights to another platform in several markets - I believe it is Viki for North America. It really sucks but Viki probably paid them more for it than their entire subscription revenue from North America. You should however write that feedback to Tencent so they know that when they do this they are pissing off their international subscribers. I make sure I do it every time.

LOL - you know ZZH is known for having one of the better torsos among the male Chinese actors so he is always expected to ahem... flex a few muscles for his fans in his dramas... I couldn't believe how much fan service he did in WOH and how long that particular scene was except my mouth hurt from grinning away afterwards... (I know, I am terrible bc it it was supposedly a sad scene...)
