Just a heads up Qin Dynasty Epic just started airing on Youtube. Its even better than GOT quality production and comes with subs. I watched the first 2 it was fantastic. In case you like historicals.

Maybe the slump won't be that bad... Don't know if you are into historicals but Qin Dynasty Epic just started airing on Youtube and the first two episodes are phenomenal. Its technically Season 4 but those were earlier Qin kings don't have to watch them. This one is about Ying Zheng the great Qin Shi Huangdi and they invested in very decent subs from the get-go.

That wasn't necessary and I don't even see them fitting. But I am glad they both got a HE. Bo Wang would never have moved on like that though.

I console myself that the censors MUST HAVE cut the part where he uses his supernatural powers to heal her and himself and they retreat from the world together forever. You do know the (very dated) Wikipedia page on this suggests its a happy ending...

Yeah its also a very sad pivotal moment because had fate (in the form of Ji Chong) not intervened or if things played out differently they were building a basis for understanding of each other as adults and closing the gap of who they became during the time gap. As it turns out that never happens because they undergo a long separation, they have a brief moment of happiness and then they die. So, so tragic.

That bridge scene is the only part of his supernatural powers that made it - he can command the wind. It was one of the things that clued Xingér in that he is Lang zai.

I doubt he had even that... the clock on the 6 months was already running down.

What evidence? The witnesses were dead and their so called evidence was that Bo Wang and his team were in town at the time. So were lots of people including that deviant prince that tried to kidnap Zhai Xing. Its not like he accused him of stealing a piece of candy. This is murder most foul - the bar has to be higher for that. And as it turns out he was so so wrong. His intentions may have been good but he caused great harm.

Anyway you see it your way its fine.

That was a great scene it made me tear up. The acting by both of them was so nuanced and good. You can tell Bo Wang actually knows she loves him and he does what he can to console her. I really like the actress she pulled off the role perfectly. It took me awhile to understand her motives.
