The PCCD group on FB is a private costume drama fan group that is very easy to join. If you ask to join your request will be accepted very quickly. However if you want access to L&D with subtitles you have to pay. It is not free and don't know how much it costs or translation and video quality.
Viki's overall translation is notably better and more complete than Youtube's. However the titles/rankings of the deities while pompously accurate are cumbersome and a real mouthful in English. It is a small and unnecessary irritant.

To me, Chang Chen is one of the most handsome Chinese actors. That said, they did not do proper justice to his looks in L&D. Whereas they made Mark Chao look way better than he normally does in TMOPB.
I wonder what happened to at the end to Fei Liu, Jingrui, Yujin, Zhen Ping, and Lin Chen.
I believe Lin Chen promised Mei Changsu he would take care of Fei Liu so I assume they returned to Langya Hall together. Lin Chen is still the master of Langya Hall in NIF2. I think the books probably have more details but I know the stories already so I have been a bit lazy about reading them.

I couldn't agree more. In general there has been so little progress since Jin Yong's time. He wrote way better FL characters than anyone but since his time, the big hits have been all these idol actresses who all look like Chinese Barbie and speak in two pitch tones higher than normal!

What are you watching that everyone hates? Maybe I will check it out. I liked L&D a lot but I really dislike at least two of the top dramas out there as well. To each his own.
