He he he, your post made me smile. Are you always this prickly? :-)
You are a good kid for sharing your links with me. Thx! I appreciate it. Finally I'll get to see a flick I've been wanting to see a long time ... because of you.
So you hate chemistry, physics & math, huh? Hey, so do I so we have at least THAT in common. LOL
Oh and we both like Cho Seung Woo. :-)
What have you seen him in? I looooved him in Chunhyang.

Hey, thx a lot for the links. I actually did a bit more searching yesterday & found it on dailymotion as well, but as you point out the quality is pretty bad so it's difficult to watch. Do you know of anywhere else it can be found?
Haha, well, I'm open to being friends with everyone, but I just don't want to stock up on friends who I end up never talking to so that's why I'll chat with a person a few times to begin with, see if we have similar tastes and or a good chemistry then send a friend request.
That's just how I do. I don't mean to be cruel, promise. :-)
By the way how old are you, if you don't mind my asking?
Haha! Wicked article, made me chuckle. When I first started watching dramas I experienced major culture shock when I realized this is how they kiss in Asian dramas. I was like wuuuuh? Even now, some 7-8 mths later, I'm still not used to it & I don't think I ever will be.
It maybe cute, but I'm too grown now to be satisfied with such childish displays of affection. I know dramas are censored since they play on national TV so I'm not asking for full blown skinship, just the real deal, man. A real kiss ... that's filled with emotion, if not passionate & not too much beating around the bush.
It can be done. They don't kiss with tongue in the West either, just lips, but it looks pretty real anyway.
I now actively seek out more mature shows that avoid all the dilly dallying (at least to a point) so as to avoid throwing my computer out the window in frustration. lol

I first gave it a 7, then I raised it to an 8.
For me I felt they had good chemistry, but I didn't like the female characters. I'm thinking mainly of Joon Young & Yoon Young. I'm in the process of writing a review explaining why. I'll let you know when its posted.

These kids are driving me crazy. Ji-Oh is a real catch. He's handsome, kind, sweet & funny, but I think he's letting his male pride get in the way. He feels threatened by Joon Young, that financially he's not better or at least on the same level as her. I want to punch him for breaking up with her for such a stupid reason, but it's very true to how a man behaves I guess. And why the hell do they keep bringing back that woman from his past when he & Joon Young hit a rough patch? So every time they fight he's gonna run to her??? Soooo annoying!
Re: Wæ ... Æ is a letter in Norwegian alphabet. It's pronounced 'aaayyy' so when you put it together with W it makes the Korean word 'Waaayyy' perfectly.
LOL, I saw Binnie's hairstyle in Secret Garden & I prefer his mullet here in TWTTLI! He's so much cuter! :) In Secret Garden he looks too much like an effeminate flower boy! :-)

Oh cresso? I'm about to start ep13. Take a break? Wæ?
I'm too curious to see what will happen to Ji-Oh & Joon Young. What do you think of Ji-Oh's behaviour, breaking up with Joon Young? Sometimes I don't like Joon Young (I think she's really driven & ambitious, but she's also very self-centered & throws a tantrum if she doesn't get her own way), but I think he was particularly callous the way he did it. They're both so darn immature & childish. Now I guess the writers are going to make him beg her to take him back in the end. So stupid. Grrrr!
Re: Tonbi, yeah, maybe. I start work again tomorrow so I'll see how it goes once I'm down with TWTTLI.

I was the one who told you that. And yes, similar is not same.
Agree with Marooya below. Entertainment is for the most part wish fulfillment. There's a lot that I enjoy watching in dramas that I wouldn't necessarily enjoy in real life & vice versa.
The best entertainment for me are those that can create a balance between reflecting real life while at the same time providing escapism from more stressful aspects of human existence.
We live in a day & age when everyone, both men & women, are expected to be independent. Nevertheless, women still want men who can provide for the lifestyle they want to live or maintain the one they're already living.
You'd think this attitude would be more prevalent in highly patriarchal countries like South Korea where a man's worth is judged based on his overall qualifications, but even in so-called egalitarian societies like Scandinavia you still find many 'gold diggers' as the term is defined in this article.
"Why Did You Come to My House?" is the only drama I have seen so far that has the opposite of the typical…
I agree.

I own a film production company where I produce music videos & short films (we're on track to produce our 1st feature film in 2015 if all goes well). I'm also a writer/director, but more experienced in producing. So yeah I relate very much to the characters. Having to deal with difficult actors, crew, higher ups who control the purse strings etc
That older actress, Min Suk, is starting to annoy me. I don't understand why she behaves the way she does. I feel the same way about Joo Young sometimes, but at least w/her you know it's bcuz she's afraid Ji Oh will go back to his ex. With Min Suk she seems deliberately cruel for no reason. I enjoy her & the station chief's romance the least. Otherwise, the show's still going good for me. Do u want me to wait for u? My bf & I are going to a bbq in 1hr & we won't be home again until late so maybe you can catch up while I'm out? :)
Ugh ... 17yrs? Age is just a #, but that's too much, in my insignificant opinion. It's not that he's too old,…
Uhm, you really need to relax. Did I persecute the guy? Did I say he did anything wrong? I didn't. Just that we shouldn't be so quick to dismiss such serious allegations bcuz they're pointed at a celeb we love.
People keep saying he can get any woman he wants. He probably can & for a normal man that's enough. For sociopaths having women at their disposal may just be the ultimate killjoy. And b4 you get all up in arms, no, I'm not saying the dude's a sociopath. Just trying to make a point.
At the end of the day I DO NOT KNOW HIM (& I suspect neither do you) ... so I can not be 100% sure about anyone but myself.
You might call my position negative. Well, I might call yours naive. I don't know what he's guilty of, if anything ... what I do know is that it wouldn't be the 1st time a celebrity thinks he's above the law.
Anyway, feel free to think/feel whatever you like. So will I. :)

Aghassi, how's TWTTLI going for you?
I'm about to start ep 5 and so far I'm really liking it, although I sense some sh-- is about to start hitting the fan.
I love the chemistry between the leads & LOOOVE that at the time of filming they were an item so the intimacy between them seems very real and not forced like in other dramas.
I'm also loving the fact that this drama is basically about my job! What I do every day! I can really relate to characters & the trials they encounter trying to get a drama off the ground! So yeah, I'm happy with it so far and am just praying it doesn't start disappointing me in a major way as we progress! :)
How is it for you so far?
Ugh ... 17yrs? Age is just a #, but that's too much, in my insignificant opinion. It's not that he's too old, it's just that she's too young. At 24 you're still developing & finding out about the real you. There are certainly exceptions, but I can never trust the longevity of these unions, although statistics seems to be more on their side rather than the Jung Suk Won & Baek Ji Young union.
Anyway, this Gackt fellow ... let's not let our love for some of these celebrities cloud our judgment. We really don't know who these people are privately. I work in the entertainment industry & have come across reprehensible celebrities all the time. They have no qualms about taking advantage of less vulnerable and or less fortunate people. Many of them feel invincible & above the law. I'm not saying this guy did anything wrong, but let's not jump to their defense prematurely.

Hi Edinaa, yesterday was independence day & Monday is the day of Pentecost. That's why I have a 4 day w/end instead of 2 & my plan is just to stay home & watch dramas.
My boyfriend is away on a trip & he won't be back until Sunday afternoon so it's been great having the house all to myself.
Yes, having others choose the drama for me was a great success! I really enjoyed Love Shuffle. And had it not been for this exercise I probably would not have watched this drama anytime soon so I think this is a method I'm going to use more often. Now I'm watching The World They Live In with the hotness that is Hyun Bin. This is the first show I'm seeing him in & he's so gorgeous. I can understand why every woman is in love with him.
Have you seen this drama? What do you think? Are you a fan of Binnie? I also know he is in Secret Garden, but I won't watch it because I don't like Ha Ji Won. :)

Omo, you don't know the half of what can go wrong behind the scenes! Few weeks ago I produced a music video (2-day shoot outdoors) & bcuz the weather is so unpredictable here I hired extras for the whole day so that if we have a period of sunshine they're on hand. The director freaked out about the costs & told them to come in in the evening when they were originally scheduled to come on set. And of course what happened? Sunlight the whole damn morning & afternoon & rain the whole evening. So we had to send them home, WITH pay of course, even though we did not use them. In the end everything end up costing more bcuz we had to pay 1.5 days of wages + food + expenses when we could have paid for only 1. I'm not an arrogant person by nature, but I'm pretty darn good at what I do so now that director knows not to tell me how to do my job. Feels pretty darn good! :)

Yeah, the OST was so appropriate in Love Shuffle & I like ghost girl too. I think she & O-chan make a good couple. And hopefully she won't do anything stupid to herself because she'll want to spend the rest of her life watching out for him. (I thought his confession to her was soooo sweet!).

Yeah, I had time bcuz I have 4 days off work this w/end instead of 2. Yesterday was this country's day of independence & Monday is the day of Pentecost. Of course if I want to work there's always something to do, but I worked really hard the week b4 so I'm taking these 4 days off. I was able to watch Love Shuffle in one day bcuz I was home alone & had no distractions.
I'm watching The World That They Live In now & it's about TV production. Although I've never worked in TV, I can relate to a lot of the scenarios. When you're making a movie or TV series something ALWAYS goes wrong & you NEVER have enough time to finish on schedule & worse, on budget. Add to that overbearing producers & exec producers breathing down your neck, threatening your career ... yup, been there, done that.
I know yesterday you probably had to work, but do you also work on weekends?
