You're going round telling everyone to cool off when you're obviously the oversensitive one ๐ Well firstly my comment isn't to start a fight, it's a true opinion. I find zly lacklustre and detached from the characters she tries to portray as though she doesnt study her role well. Can't take it, beat it. You don't have any right to tell me what to say and where to say it as far as I'm not attacking the actress personally. Take a cool sip and a deep breath, it'll be fine. Adios ๐
Cheng Yi's character is rather hard to play because he is multi faceted. The character embodies both good and…
Perhaps if I'd been able to move forward he'd have become softer on my eyes, but there's nothing to bring me back for now when I'm watching something I find better.
My first impression of the first two episodes. Another good script has fallen into the hands of the wrong director. If this drama had explored both worlds simultaneously there'd be more to watch than all this sitting around and talking. The bad wigs are disturbing and I'm finding a hard time reconciling the mature characters to their said ages. As for acting, when people call actors stiff it doesn't really disturb me, but for Cheng Yi "stiff" is an understatement he's wooden. He basically has four expressions aside from the crying scenes I'm yet to see: scoffing, cocking head to right, cocking head to left and excessively blinking while trying to deliver his lines stiffly. He's trying to give a regal aura but I fail to reconcile it with his tendency to stoop and the lack of balance in his pose. You could give this role to a five year old and he will make you feel respect. I liked him in LAR but after seeing this I don't know how I'm going to watch him in anything else.

I'm not spreading hate, just expressing my opinion as a viewer. If I'm spreading hate then the thousands of reviewers around the world are doing the same including the one above me.
WowShe is certainly not in Zhao Liyings orbit, when it comes to acting. She would have done a far superior job…
zly? I find her to be wooden too, except from crying better there's no other aspect that makes her stand out from her juniors, but that's just my opinion too๐
ONLY 8 yrs? Lol. That's a big number, but it's adequate. The drama isn't trying to close the difference but maintain…
No, you're misunderstanding me, when I say big I don't mean they're not compatible, I mean at their respective ages they are in different stages of life. 50 and 58 are not so different but I think 26 and 34 are different. I would like to see how they would make sense of these two different minds and experiences coming together, hopefully they'll touch on what's important.
People are really blind they do not support a person like yang Zi who has been working since her childhood and…
I see the angle you were coming from but there's no need to discredit Dilraba. She didn't get popular by snagging popular MLs but through her own charm and appeal. I've personally not been able to finish any of her works but she has an audience. YZ on the other hand has a different vibe, she's not the best actress but she can give more depth to her roles and she lights up the screen, I find her very watchable. But at the end of the day you can't force people to like who you like, just bcoz they like who they like in a majority doesn't make them blind. Besides actors that are popularly tagged "great" do not pursue popularity but hope that their audience can continue to enjoy their works.
I dont want to hear Nothing from you little jealous girls about an Age Gap. Xu Kai is 26yrs old he's a GROWN A$$…
ONLY 8 yrs? Lol. That's a big number, but it's adequate. The drama isn't trying to close the difference but maintain it. Anyone hoping different will get disappointed. I'm personally looking forward to exploring this new angle to romance with YM&XK, their chemistry never disappoints.
Really, the blocking function on this site is one of the most useful features. All the haters/people that would like to express "opinions" about everything except the drama should kindly indicateโ๏ธ, I appreciate, lol.
i dare you to comment the same thing on weibo and see if anyone would agree. new cdrama fans are getting more…
I'd advice you to stay away from these people if you don't want your blood flowing in another direction, especially the ones from China, the haters YM has from her country are the most vicious and hypocritical. When you break into the industry with average looks they diss you, when you get work done to fix it they diss you, when they you get dubbed they question your competence, when you use your voice they diss you. It's the only way they can catch fun seeing the way they're so dedicated, they don't count actors/actresses as humans only tools for cruel "jokes" and other forms of entertainment. If YM wasn't capable she wouldn't have made it much less topped her colleagues, therefore the more hate. Most of these haters are upset bcoz she's a huge roadblock to new popular artists, despite being in her mid 30's. They are young and have tons of time on their hands, you can't rival their finger speed when it comes to typing crap, personally I just block them wherever I see them. I've noticed that they're attention seeking so i don't waste my time.
Aside from the visuals of this movie, the plotline is a major letdown. The world building had a nice concept but in the two hours plus runtime they couldn't make it come alive. Also the characters weren't well developed with YM's character being the least. Didn't enjoy this as I'd expected but I guess it's okay for anyone looking for more action and less plot.

hilarious. I miss all of them.
