The entire movie conveys the uncertainties and ironies of life and fate. It's a sad movie but it also carries a message of hope and infinite possibilities. By the way I've noticed J-actors and actresses from around the 90s and early 2000s are really good looking.
This one is for the gore junkies. I didn't enjoy watching this movie but it leaves a vibe after. I don't know, maybe two years from now I'll gush about it forgetting how utterly terrible and pointless it was 😂 2/10

It really hurts coz the acting and chemistry are really good. But even without the editing there's nothing fresh or entertaining about this drama. Every word every action every scene is predictable. Up to episode 17 and everything is convoluted without direction. Can't continue.
All the hate YM is getting now only means she has entered competition for mainstream resources. She's always getting hate but it was never this much 😆 If these people could find anything real on her she'd have been gone a long time ago. So far the dramas and movies she's been in contact with after leaving Jiaxing are really good. I only hope she can find a good team or a company she can work independently under.

I understand your frustration. In fact YM's entire fandom has been frustrated for many years. But the truth is YM has been managed poorly for many years and these are just the repercussions of bad PR over a long period of time. Let's not pay attention to any of these things and start getting paranoid. Think happy thoughts and look at the big picture. It's because YM has decided to surge ahead that the pressure is coming in harder. At the end of the day no matter how misled public opinion has been nobody can cover the sun with their hands. As far as YM is willing to put in the effort everyone will see it. I'm just going to say 1. YM has no reason to fear being compared to either LYF or ZLY in terms of looks or actual performance. YM is considered to be fashionable on and off the red carpet. And her tv & box office performance are either better or on par with those two. 2. YM is not unsociable. The people YM has been in contact with or is on really familiar terms with in the industry, most people will not believe. From Jackie Chan to Betty Sun and Zhou Xun. That night YM talked to Angelababy, Liu shi shi, her mentor Li shao hong, Yang Zi, briefly greeted Hu Ge,etc. 3. So then why didn't or doesn't YM talk to LYF and ZLY? i. Maybe BECAUSE SHE DOESN'T HAVE TO!!!! Two people that came to weibo night with necks stiff like iron. They obviously don't enjoy excessive social interactions or just feel self conscious. YM has no reason to talk to them, it would create an unnecessary buzz as they have rival fandoms. It's most likely the reason YM didn't want to stand beside LYF. The last time they stood beside each other, everyone called LYF fat and her fans entered into unfriendly exchanges with YM's fandom. I recently stumbled on this and enjoyed it but looking at the comments I think everyone anticipated a bit too much. From a neutral point of view it had it's flaws but wasn't that bad. To be honest I'm just happy I found one without the zombie/human mutant trope.
Yang Mi has been rumored for female businessman which is similar to this and set in the same time period and Chen Xiao has been rumored to play with YM three times now. So it's probable they will cooperate on a qing dynasty drama 🤔
