Title HIStory4: Close to You Spoiler
I'll simply say. Rape is not OK, but is an issue in this world. Male or female, eterosexual, gay, lesbian, bisexual. We…
Change the record and get a brain. And learn to argue to a basic level. And you educate yourself on serious issues like rape. Maybe then you would not spread so much crap like the raped one giving verbal and non verbal consent, initiates French kiss and have a hard one while being sucked. If you knew anything about rape you would know it is impossible. The pseudo-outragers like you debase the sufferings of real rape victims. Are you not jus dumb af but also senile? I have stated above I have had countless sex while drunk in my life. Maybe you should try each one for the first time. You would probably be less frustrated and would say less nonsense.

You are extraordinarily stupid and deranged. You are not capable of the most elementary argument, you cannot even grasp what this or any other scene were about. Just because you are shouting like a looney and calling me "rapist sympathiser" and "disgusting" does not make it true. It just reveals all you can do is tantrum.

"so he didnt want to kiss him because he wasn’t awake " What on earth are you talking about? Xing Si initiated the French kiss. He wanted to kiss Yong Jie on the lips and the later refused it. Jeez, you don't even know the scene you talk about. It has to be seen to be beleived. Yong Jie did not want to kiss him on the lips, because he was not "sober", not because he was "not awake". Wrong translation. He was awake, for god's sake, they had a convo.

Why am I not surprised you cannot address any of my points, gosh, just parrot you bs. Maybe you should stop lying first if your comprehension skills converges to zero. It was a verbally and non-verbally consensuous sex, as it was elaborately detailed by those having more than two brain cells. Just because some lunatic nutjobs on MDL are making up that alcohol consumption equates to non-consensual sex it does not make it true. Periodt. And thanks for confirming you have a sick mind.

I think it was said very well by Flypsyde, below, that this show should be given some artistic license. I don't…
The difference is that over the past few days people like you tried to voice your opinions about a very complex and gray situation in a moderate, considerate and absorbing way with meticulous arguments, and all you get are hate, abuse and labels. I have had enough of this.

Yeah, that is why he explicitly says he "slept" with his brother and he consistently tells he feels ashamed of taking advantage of his "little brother" ("It was my fault, I should not have drunk", "How could I do that with my brother?", "It was probably because of my pestering", "But he wouldnt have voluntarily...", "How will I explain this to his mother?"). Rape victims usually worried about ther rapists the day after of taking advantage of the "rapist". But don't let the facts get in the way of your foaming mouth. "The only ending for the step brother I will accept is the Korean white van ending." - Well, if anyone has a sick mind, the person who can say that certainly has.

I saw some videos saying this series is getting hate.. lol I wasn't expecting this.. can't you separate reality…
These hate-watchers are not only aggressively intolerant, they are lying through their teeth. The scene, I guess, was made in a deliberate way to make sure Xing Si gave verbal and non-verbal consent alike, that is why they have a clear, lucid and even eloquent conversation in the bed, that is why he is asked whether he knows who the other person is and what is happening, that is why they mutually confess love, that is why Xing Si inititates kiss and intimate moves, and that is why he gets a BJ. But they want it regarded as "rape", so they are making up the absurd and arbitrary criteria that "drunk people cannot give consent". How they get this stupid bullshit is absolutely beyond me. How is it possible to enjoy a BJ if someone is not in their senses? I wonder if these peeps ever had sex, if they have such assumptions (that would be a possible explanation for their frustrations). And when the morning after Xing Si freaks out and runs home the scene is also made in a deliberate way to show his worry is caused by shame. He explicitly says he "slept" with his brother and he consistently tells he feels ashamed of taking advantage of his "little brother" ("It was my fault, I should not have drunk", "How could I do that with my brother?", "It was probably because of my pestering", "But he wouldnt have voluntarily...", "How will I explain this to his mother?"). Yet they have the adudacity to say Xing Si freaks out because he was "sexually assaulted", in spite of what he says himself. It is way over difference of opinions. It is twisting a narrative to meet an agenda. It is either compulsive lying or the comprehension level of an ant. I don't know which is worse.

To all those think that was rape, compare next episode (7&8) preview with current ep(5 &6). Check how Mu Ren reacted…
Do you really think they care about the LGBT community? They just love raging about whatever is possible. There are several well thought-out and compulsively argued pieces of evidence that it was a consensual sexual intercourse, but they do not even bother to counter-argue (no wonder, they cannot). This latest foaming-mouthed moron clearly did not even watch it, just keeps parroting the agit-prop agenda.

Astonishing. Consent can't be a thing when someone is this drunk. And supposed signals given (and I insist, supposed)…
"If you're not lucid enough to STAND UP, you're not lucid enough to consent to having sex with your sibling. Simple as that." Utter bullshit. Just because some entitled, self-proclaimed sex supervisors on MDL define a codex like this, it is not 10 commandement. The level of alcohol consumption, the consciousness, the effect on someone's capability and will are extremely different as per individuals, no one has the right to set up such standards. Let alone we don't know how long, after he was carried up, the sexual interaction happened between them. Based on the lucid and rather eloquent convo between them, it may well have been hours later. The facts are: He gave continuous verbal and non-verbal signs of consent, he even initiated some of the actions, and his breakdown the morning after was due to his worry of thinking he took advantage of his little brother, as he explicity tells his friends later, and not the other way around. The "rape-rape" lynch brigade is the one twisting the narrative and ignore obvious facts to meet their agenda here.

I completely agree with you. The world literature would be entirely in the trash can by this mindset, and it kills debate.

That is the most irritating about it. I bet at least half of those are doing it by forced compliance without probably even chekcing it out. And they are not content with abandoning, they are up for cancelling. Sometimes I wonder when book burnings come back.

Sib lied about his age to get the part (he's 26, not 20), and he knew who Gene was, knew Gene didn't recognize…
I may not have been very straightforward so far. I have no problem with Gene being upset, I just do not get the way he is upset about the situation. I really don't think I am excessively nice, but at this stage it would seem more realistic to me if Gene was angry and demanded immediate explanation for the lie rather than crushed on the motorway to the point of bursting in tears. Unless, like I said, something happened between them in the past that has not yet been revealed. As for the audition, Sib clearly got his part because of his looks and the intensity of his performance which captivated the crew and quite regardless of his age, I guess. Especially since the other cotenders were all of different ages, if I remember correctly.

There's nothing wrong that happened between the two step-brothers. I don't believe it was rape because he seemed…
There is definitely something wrong with what happened between them, but not in a way that most people are raging about. Some really cannot make a difference between a morally condemnable, scheming and manipulative set up from Fu Yong Jie (which it was) and sexual assault (which it was not). And for some, alcohol consumption automatically means lack of consent, which is beyond ridiculous.

Ha had a comprehensive dialogue with his "little bro" in the bed, he admited that he also loves him too, he put his arms around his neck and then he tried to kiss him on the lips (and he said "why don't you trust me?" when the other refused the French kiss), he received a BJ from him, and full remembered the day after what happened. That is what I mean. And no amount of exclamation marks will erase this, so stop shouting regardless.

I don't know what happened between them in the past, but I just see Sib wanted to find the way he get near who he loved all his life. Pehaps he just wanted to get to know the current Gene better. Maybe it is my fault, but I honesty do not find this that horrendous. He might have felt Gene has forgotten about him and he tried to make him fall in love with his current himself.
