I dont really think that they are seeing Win as second class, though? This is his acting debut, of course he has…
Its not only followers, Bright even gets way more comments. Bright BARELY had comments before this series aired and they're more than quadruple Win's. Its another case of half whites being seen as first class while regular asians are seen as beneath them (in their own country nonetheless)
White supremacy rules thailand and its beauty standards. It goes in hand with the fact that 1/3 of this cast is half caucasian.
where did i criticize the actor? i just simply said he was hired cause he was half white (which is true).
And i do frequently criticize thailand as well as many other Southeast Asian countries for this very thing. Its sad that South Korea and Japan are much more better in comparison to Southeast Asia in terms of asian representation (and we already know how much they hate dark skin in Korea and Japan)
I'm seeing alot of "why aren't there many kiss scenes???" complaints here.
I hate to point out the obvious but they want Bright to be the next Mario Maurer, Nadech Kugimiya, Sunny SuwanCreepyPermaSmirk etc. They want him to be another mainstream half white celebrity. Thats why they won't let him do too many "gay scenes"
Remember Love of Siam? There was only ONE KISS scene and the lead Mario Maurer (also half white) never did a BL series again. Mario Maurer went on to become a huge star after that movie, while his dark skin non-mixed co-star FADED INTO OBSCURITY.
This is how Thailand works. Even in the promotions of this drama, i can already notice Win being treated as 2nd class compared to Bright. and surprise surprise (not really) Win doesn't even have as many IG followers as Bright.
Thailand may seem like a progressive country in terms of this shallow LGBT image but through the cracks the country is still hugely flawed.
Didn't actually like the main couple at all. Maybe bc I didn't really like the actors of Pha and Yo (sorry) but…
The main couple is actually the least popular among the cast this time. Ben Brasier was never a good fit for the Pha character. The writer must have been high when she picked him.
Can you not shit on each and everything? :/No one is trying to make FrankDrake 'happen' — they are already a…
at this point, they don't care to listen to logical reasoning. anytime i post valid criticism, they'd rather smear me and get on this hate bandwagon (whether it makes sense or not)

So saying half whites getting too many lead roles compared to half blacks is considered racism? I didn't say anything bad about half whites. I only pointed out the inequality. Use logic instead of labeling random people trolls lol. You make no sense at all.
Its a sad day when fighting for diverse representation is labeled as "trolling and racism". Where is your concern for the thais who have no actors or actresses to look up to and idolize in their own country? Its not right or fair.

It doesn't matter. Your original comment was pointless and illogical. You tried to act like my comment had no relevance with the drama. Their previous acting experience is a rightful criticism to bring up on a upcoming drama where they are being shoved down our throats yet again.
Their acting sucks, their popularity is not good, and the added focus of another couple is unneeded. They already had their chance.
Just admit that you only ran your mouth off without thinking because you like hopping on the hate Rebecca bandwagon that everyone else is on here lol
Yes, their first series wasn't very successful that's why GMM is giving them a second chance to prove themselves!…
I like the first couple. Thats why i'm here. DUH.
and i'm free to voice an opinion. Maybe you should stop being oversensitive boo.
and they aren't popular in Thailand either. After all, their show flopped. It doesn't make sense to keep propping up a failed pairing. All they are doing is losing money and viewers.

girl, you do realize you just wrote a whole essay just because you're so salty over one simple negative opinion? I'm not the only one saying they're bad at acting. Look at the reviews of My Tee. They're saying the same thing (and yes they're crapped on the plot too)
You're immature and you need to realize we don't live in China where they censor everyone and everybody. Its called freedom of speech. Its okay to be a fangirl of someone but when you get in your feelings just because someone questions your precious idol's skills, you're the one who needs to rethink being on this site if you're so oversensitive to negative criticism of tv shows.

Their acting was bad in their last drama yet you're mislabeling my rightful opinion as "non sensical hating". Whats so wrong with wanting less couples, particularly ones that cant act? I think its better for the main couple to shine on their own.
I was never banned because i did nothing wrong. Yet you see nothing wrong with users making ad hominem attacks on me. Hypocrisy much? All i do is post opinions which are fairly harmless. Dont agree with my opinions? Then dont reply. The truth about colorism makes you uncomfortable because you secretly support it.

The fact that i even had to explain that lol.
I have light skin. So am i being racist towards myself? Make your comments make sense.
Tell me why a half black person never gets a lead role in a thai drama. I wouldnt even have to advocate for it if they were treated equally.

Graduate high school sweetheart and then maybe you will one day stop being butthurt just cause you read negative reviews on a drama website.
These people had their shot. No need for gmmtv to cram their terribad acting in another show that looks promising.
Watching my Tee made me convinced that Drake is only capable of showing one emotion.
