Thank you for the recommendations. I watched Blood many years ago, to be honest I wasn't able to finish it because I found it boring and some parts were cringe in my opinion. About Orange Marmalade, I have read the manhwa but I haven't watched the drama yet. I will consider it in the future. 😌

Started well but turned into something lame and boring. I gave it a 7 for the cast only.
Idk why Korea doesn't know to make good Vampire theme dramas. Since "The Scholar who walks at night" I haven't seen other interesting dramas on this theme.

Unexpected ending. I really thought this drama will have 2 seasons given the pacing. But to my surprise in the end they turned everything upside down. Its all about Karma.

That's a very messed up part of the plot. The only one I find it unnecessary. I mean is okay that they introduced a gay character but it was better off if she liked someone else even her sister in law.

This drama is kinda weird but I love it, probably that "weirdness" sets it apart from typical K-dramas. The pacing is slow, but interesting and captivating. You have to pay attention to each scene because they are not really in chronological order. There are flashbacks, there are some moments where characters imagine some scenarios in their head, they also may show what a character did in the morning or a day before and then what another one did in the evening.
I also like how some conversations between characters are built, they have a sense of realism. They may seem to argue or talk about random things, but that's how is in reality sometimes. When you live with someone as a couple or with family members some topics of discussion may be very random.
There are some things in the plot I find unnecessary but I can't give spoilers here.
Based on how the pacing of this drama goes ahead is obvious that there will be a season 2 or maybe 3 coming.
Hopefully I will see "Durians affair" starting in the next season.

I see. Since their mothers called each other "sister", the boy was calling the girl's mother "auntie", they both called the old empress "grandma", and the old Emperor "grandfather" and so on. I thought they were part of the same family. Also the mother of girl was also a Princess of the same kingdom. I thought their parents were both blood related somehow and so the kids.

I started watching this, and I already binge watched a few episodes. Now I feel sorry that I started this drama when is still on air. 😭The pacing is just right, the build up of the story, the setting and YangZi plays the role of a guy really well. Not gonna start about how hot is every Male character.
But I really hope that her cousin is not a Love interest here coz that would be really creepy. There are enough guys for her to pick from.

The drama and the scheming becomes more intense, only after 10 episodes I would say. At the beginning it looks like a family drama but is more to it. The FL is very smart in this drama, I really like her.

Yeah... Like...you not even close with that one. 😅 You really reaching here. I didn't even seen this RenMi in any other popular dramas before, she is quite low profile. Idk how she got casted to play in this.

Even the actor in PP is prettier than her.

I was excited to see XZ in a fantasy drama but I have to prepare myself to put up with the FL. She has a 🐸 like face and as always the stylists gave her the those infamous st*pid straight bangs which other 1 million FLs had in the other 1 million Xianxia dramas up to this point. 🙄And I bet on that clue alone that the FL is probably written to be d*mb, always clueless and naive.
They really didn't had better choices to match XZ with?

She looks like a 🐸. And the stylists gave her the typical "dumb and clueless" FL hairstyle which is the infamous straight bangs.

Ep 14 was phenomenal, such an emotional roller-coaster. Don't let yourself fooled to believe this is a light hearted family drama. There is so much more to it. And the FL is really well built. I like a smart, brave FL who take her own decisions and lead by example.
Is definitely my fave drama atm.

This drama is like the title not good, not bad. I mean is decent and has an interesting plot but some scenes were infuriating. Loved some of the comedic parts, especially those guys pretending to be farmers, they were peak comedy.It's a worth watching drama but the 8.9 score is quite high. In my opinion is between an 7.5 - 8.

That's right. I also didn't read the webtoon so probably the story is too rushed and to only drama viewers some things don't make sense at all.
It's a pity because the casting is great, and I was excited for them, the cinematography is also great and that caught my attention. But I will see if I will keep continuing this drama until the end. 😅

Finally, a comment tha makes sense. I felt the same, there is no reason up to this point.

I think the lack of chemistry comes from the fact that we don't really understand why the FL likes the ML so much. She just met him briefly in her 18th Life childhood and she got ready set that she likes him and he is the One. Okay, but why? I mean, in his childhood he doesn't show any traits which makes him any different from any other bratty 12 year old, except for his tragic background story.
When she mets him again in her 19th life and he is a grown up she is dead set that he is Amazing! What makes her so sure that he is extraordinary among other men of his age? Absolutely Nothing! He could have become a piece of sh*t.
To me personally the drama lack a good foundation for the reason why she is so dead set on this guy. So I didn't felt their chemistry yet either.

Compared with the 1st season, which I couldn't even finish, this season was a 10/10. Great story line, many action scenes, mystery, symbolism, Korean and Japanese folkore, well done comedic relief and one of the best casting. I really hope that the three friends will reunite again in S3. In my opinion if anyone is interested in watching this season without watching S1 first, please be my guest. A little intro about what happened in the previous season is explained in the 1st episode, and the rest of the story line of S2 doesn't have much to do with S1, as many of the characters are newly introduced. Just the two brothers relationship dynamics can be better understood for those who watched S1. The main idea is that they don't get along well since the beginning, but they will work things out. The S1 is focused more on Lee Yeon fateful relationship with his lover while S2 is about comradeship, friendship, family bonds, healing and closing off some dead ends.
