Oh, if that's the case it might be a bit hard for you to get into the drama. Her acting is a bit excessive at the beginning cause they're trying to add the comedy element. And everyone is literally in love with her. But if you can endure the first few episodes with her extra acting, it'll be worthwhile. The Male actors definitely pulled their weight

Kill me heal me goes deep into DID. We even have irregular switches between the personalities, we get to experience their bonding and care for each other, we even get sadness and sorrow while they merge

I don't know much about DID, but I was fascinated after watching KMHM all those years ago. Most of what you said makes sense and sounds logical. I wonder why they decided to not do a better depiction of DID. Cause this type of info is readily found online. And viewers are bound to research

I find all those scenes amusing cause technically, they're giving good advice. At least based on the context they were given. And that test for if he likes her actually kind of worked for the FL, despite the fact that she didn't apply it well. ML undid all of that by loudly proclaiming FL as his bro and not a potential Mrs.
That's enough to clear anyone's mind.
The married couples only fault is, they're not good at reading between the lines.

But the thing is, with the context the leads give them, they actually give good advice.
They're just bad at reading between the lines (it seems only Cheng Hui has that ability). What annoys me is when they absolutely refute that the leads can end up together, but even their parents do that.
I actually find them very adorable. It's very rare for a drama to depict a couple that's been married for so long in such a lovey-dovey relationship.
The couple still like each other, they're still best friends. I think they're a good model for our leads. ML can even use them as sample case in convincing FL.

I'm kind of loving it too. Despite how frustrating it gets along the way, their romance is cute enough for me to forgive the delays.
I think the physical affection will even more precious, when we start getting it, cause of how strict their friendship was.
As friends they don't hug, he doesn't just put his hands on her. Despite calling her bro, I think he treated her very much like a female and maintained the traditional "distance" from her, no rough housing her.

From the MDL cast list, I feel we'll get 2 couples. FL and her ex, then Ju Yeon and Hye Yeon (that girl who's always following him and talking despite how clear it is that he's not interested). The way she made a statement about him getting angry and letting himself feel, gives the impression that she's actually sensible and truly interested, bit just a plastic girl.
But of course I'm just inferring from the cast list.

Since I read a lot of spoilers before starting, I knew I wouldn't be able to watch every scene. Had to skip a lot from episode 21. I might have just watched less than 20 minutes for most of the episodes from then on. Conflict was solved pretty quickly sure, but they just tortured the FL way too much.
It was surreal how she had to literally go through hell very 3 episodes. No need for so much anguish. The good part was the couple was locked in from almost the beginning. Despite a few (thankfully) scenes of not clearing misunderstandings (with the intention to make jealous and force a reaction) and lack of boundaries.
They also took a significant amount of time from when they became true partners to when they became actual lovers. It was a very believable wait, which made their love feel more sincere to me.
The main characters and their actors were very good to me. But the ML could have been a bit more proactive and omnipotent, given his massive military power and supposed wisdom

But he's not the mastermind as implied. ML told his father in law that it seems Prince Su gave the bother in law responsibility and included him in the crime to set up the Father in law in case they found out about the crimes. (Cause no one would want to arrest and sue their only son).

Very little focus. In fact they literally just put 3 sentences on the scene to describe a major major political event. It disoriented me a lot.
And even when we started seeing the palace, it was more to promote the Emperor and Empress love story.
They held few court sessions. Few secret meetings. Ultimately all roads lead to romance for this show. It fortunately suited the circumstances mostly

Not gonna lie I expected a lot more angst. I got my mind ready and all.
I loved the way it focused on romance and enjoyed it. But it stunned me for a bit. And let a disappointing taste
I excepted the angst to come from the first war, but it was a let down. They just did small scenes and a little military talk.

I believe she caught him with the Consort. The Prince's adopted daughter. It was implied she saw them being intimate I think.
He did it to get together with the Prince or something. And LMT didn't want to share her man. (Naive of her sure)

ML's brother in law was the guy in the hood. The grand master is prince Li. He only let the guy in the hood have authority so that he could implicate the Duke if he got caught

The love triangle is all on the side of the sides of side characters.
The FL didn't waiver (even in her fight with the ML). The ML was never interested.
The happy ending was alright.

I love this drama.
Mostly because I'm a romance person. The politics here was poorly done, but the romance was good.
I have no complaints, not even when they were broken up. I don't think the FL did anything wrong. It was mostly teasers that were misleading but the actual episode didn't show her being harsh or hard. (Only wished she had checked up on his broken leg a few times).
This was a soft drama for me. I loved it. Wang Chu Ran has been a favourite of mine since FOMH. She looked beyond lovely here and ML was also a treat to look at.
It helps a romance when the leads are eye candy.
