Anything over 8.7 is usually well-received. Between 8.8-9.2 (highest rating at this time), the dramas should be VERY well received (and they're usually successful even in SK).

Mid-tier should be 8.5-8.7, lower mid in between 8.3-8.4, so-so (low tier) are usually in between 8-8.3, flops (or as good as) are those around 7.5-8. Under 7.5 it's a cult drama, LOL, just a part of the audience actually likes it.

That's just my own perception, not an official rule.

Despite being a cretin, I do feel for SooCheol. She did him dirty, the poor bastard thought he was growing a family, loving on his son, loving on his wife, as much as his brain (and heart) allowed.

But everybody else... HOW?!! It doesn't make any sense - aren't they freaking businessmen?! It's driving me crazy how the OP song singer sounds so much like JongHo - many of the main cast are singers, it's probably one of them singing it, but it's seriously messing with my brain, LOL, all I hear is JH :D

Is the manhwa finished? There were a few storylines left untied, either there wasn't enough time, or that was all the artist drew... Overall, a nice tidy little story, nothing sensational, but well-acted, no strange jumps in editing, and if it used a lot of tropes - they did become tropes because people like them, LOL. So all's well.

HEA, if they go by the novel. And there's a baby, too (San Pang's, not theirs, LOL) so they get to be uncles :D

The novel is by Priest, she's a mainlander, AFAIK, and very prolific (and known) author. I wonder how they managed to buy the rights, actually, LOL. And also, TBH, a lot (if not most) danmei novels do have a HEA :D

Some supernatural things born out of the blue moon cascade, LOL? This is ridiculous. And Khram and Thai arriving at the scene of the accident/assassination attempt on foot right as the masked thing tried to kill Phupha is just as ridiculous.

This feels like Reader's Digest of the actual drama. I get it that they wanted to cram all the story in just ten episodes... but surely they did remember that it needs to make sense?

It would be SO stupid to use the same trick twice (with faking that), so I guess yes, this is really what's going on, LOL (and by that I mean they're doing it again).

He seems just as surprised as all of us each and every time the plot does a twist. Like - his face through the whole drama was one big question mark with a side of whatthef*ck.

Just wait, In the end, it'll turn out that the guys actually love each other and InHa is hating the FL because she stole his man, and then he is also jealous of her because she doesn't belong to him, AND she stole his man (bears repeating).

And KTO did everything for his love interest but then he got betrayed - BIG TIME - by said love interest because of insecurity, and now they're both heartbroken and apart and can never go back to how it all used to be. And it's all FL's fault (for stealing another man's man.)

ALL this is missing is basically a white truck hitting one or all of them, some or all of them getting amnesia or dying forlornly in someone's arms... and the one who survives will inherit the company with tears in their eyes.

If we're really lucky, KTO's monk mom comes back and inherits the company LOL. By now I actually am hoping for such an insane ending anyway hahaha~

LWJ's stoic non-expressive face is his personal superpower. It's only Lan XiChen (his older brother) who can read it - he knows when LWJ is deliriously happy when dragging WWX - kicking and screaming - back to Cloud Recesses after his resurrection when LWJ's expression is basically the same, LOL.

That's why his small smiles and the rare outrage or surprise are EXTREME emotions for LWJ, to let them get to his face, hahaha~ And it is what actually initially tickled WWX to no end - he wanted to put some expression on that perfect and cold face, by any means necessary :D (he confesses immediately when things get... heated between them, LOL). If you decide you're not interested in reading the novel, at least try the extras - the heat levels there are the cherry on top :D

ETA WEI is his family name, and WuXian is his courtesy name (and for LWJ, Lan is the family name and WangJi is the courtesy name. WWX's personal - friends only - name is Ying, and only LWJ gets to call him that in a friendly manner, everybody else who does wants to disrespect him, LOL. And then there's WWX calling LWJ only by his personal - again, just for friends and family - name, Lan Zhan, and only using his courtesy name ONCE when he wanted to be as cold as possible, LOL - after he came back from the Burial Mounds and LWJ panicked that he was going to be destroyed by his use of demonic arts and wanted to drag him back to Cloud Recesses to keep him safe... or when he's teasing drunk LWJ.)

In short, they'd be WuXian and WangJi, if you wanted to go by their courtesy names, or Ying and Zhan, if going by personal names. (Wei Wu doesn't work in that way).

Considering the practicality of A-Ze's love advices to his master, I'd rather think that if Ling'er doesn't teach him a thing or two, they will both end up extremely frustrated and still alone for a very long time, LOL.
