Actually, I don't think what A Ying/Lieutenant He did to Li Ni was bad at all. They are not officially couple…
Well, he never did want the throne anyway, why would he hurry up and go to the capital anyway? He seems to want to get his father out (what for, I have no idea yet, his father is either useless or a really great actor) and/or to find his cousin/the other surviving grandson and hand him the keys to the kingdom.
No hurry there, LOL. Anyway, these two are just two cats courting each other, claws are bound to come out from time to time LOL.
Li Ni: *gets oursmarted once*Li Ni: *proceeds to drown lots of neurons in hard booze because of it*Pei Xuan (worried…
Is it me or is He Ying playing a bit too harsh with him? I mean, the poor guy's falling in love and she's basically still treating it as a game of smarts. You'd think she'd have realised by now he's actually falling, not just pretending. This can't end up well for the short term.
I SURE HOPE the general accompanying the other Imperial Grandson doesn't do a treason thing and kills him. I want that kid to survive, you hear me show? Just because the ex-Crown Princess is still awesome, and that traitor who killed the Emperor is about to find out the hard way.
Also, is anyone else still LOLing about the date that ended up with a sinking ship? Director, you're SO CHEEKY LOL. Don't go there, though, This ship will sail full speed ahead.
PS I don't mind the trickster's tricks right now, though, LOL. I mean, we've all seen the OP and ED. There'll be good times and also bad times ahead - 'tis but a scratch!
Li Ni: *gets oursmarted once* Li Ni: *proceeds to drown lots of neurons in hard booze because of it* Pei Xuan (worried about his friend): What's wrong with you? Li Ni (totally out of the blue): So I have this friend. Pei Xuan (not so brain-dead actually): Oooooh you have a love problem. Li Ni (forcefully): I SAID, I have this FRIEND.
Not Li Ni about to bring the Pax Sinica over everything the sun touches - as soon as he gets to throw He Ying in a well again, LOL.
I just love how nobody gives a fig about the old Emperor who died and all his army of sons and previous 15 missing grandsons (the other surviving one - theoretically - should be Crown Prince's son). Also, the ex-Crown Princess is so badass.
The cinematography is still slaying basically every shot they're doing. The only slight downpoint I've seen so far is they didn't really invest all that much into massive armies pretend-soldiers and are relying on different angles to say they've got the numbers.
Doesn't matter, the two masterminds who are just now busy seducing each other with their out-tricking themselves and forgetting about just everything else are taking over the plot and I couldn't be happier, LOL.
This is filmed amazingly. If all eps are going as the first ep did, it's going to be a wild ride. I see the director is one of the directors of The Untamed, this makes me expect good things from him. I hope the script does justice to the cinematography and pace, everything looks so smooth and the shots are just - perfect.
The one saying I'm definitely Ki Ho is not him but How he got those memories that's the question and it's affecting…
KiHo was always secretive, though, right? Documenting the abuse but not making any waves until he was ready to run away, doing anything to get money so that the escape was successful but never explaining why he was so desperate for it, so that everybody in the class doesn't really like him. His one true bond is with MokHa and that mostly because they' re both victims of abuse, and in his mind, he's guilty for causing her to lose her life - until she's found again. And if WooHak's trauma and amnesia were caused by the dad finding KiHo and assaulting WooHak in the process, he'd be even more guilt-ladden.
If KBG is KiHo (I think he's the one), we'll probably see some flashbacks soon about how they all got to this point. I mean, a third of the drama already aired T_T
I wonder how Bogeol is going to explain himself after ep4's ending and deflect the fact he's Kiho. Like how did…
You're MokHa and KiHo just sent a bouquet of flowers and a meeting time with no meeting place. There is only one place they both settled on meeting again - the bus station. He knows where to go. As for the timing, the father too waited for a bit (or maybe even followed her, if he didn't already know about the station) so KiHo had time to catch up.
Who else thinks Ran Jo’s downfall was partly because of her personality? Like how the O’s described her as…
She wasn't really throwing tantrums, she was finding reasons not to sing because she was in the process of losing her voice and trying hard to hide it. And with the festival, she also was making up an excuse for sounding awful live - because her voice is now completely gone, despite the surgery she had.
As for using MokHa - she STILL won't get her voice back. It's not like MokHa will sing for her forever in order to make her a success again...
it was always quite obvious that woo hak was ki-ho also cuz of the fact that bo geol kept getting agitated whenever…
I think it's more of a "how can she be meeting KiHo when I didn't send her any message to meet up?" He's also dead certain WooHak is NOT KiHo - because HE is.
As for how did the dad know - how did he find KiHo the first time around (in that flashback of WooHak's)? I think he knew KiHo used to go there and wait for her, so he decided to wait for her there and take her away to interrogate her on where KiHo is now or even take her away to lure KiHo to her help later on (IMHO he's totally mad by now). Also, he could just have followed her and saw where she went (if he didn't know about the station meeting place) so he'd have a place to leave some messages for KiHo when he had MokHa.
Yay. I don't like the suspense and it's going to be a long week, but at least it's out in the open. There were…
I knew KBG would end up being JKH once he put everything together in the prep for the show. But I've grown to like him again - I mean, JKH wasn't exactly the most popular student in the class either, what with his secretive ways... and he's kept the same personality.
What happened - I think - is that Abusive Dad Cop found them once before, after KiHo ran away, and attacked WooHak in order to find out where KiHo was. And that voice WooHak is remembering is actually coming from KiHo, who probably was close by at the time. It would make sense KiHo didn't want to come out, since he's still trying to protect his family from MurderDadTM. And he's probably still loaded with guilt from losing MokHa once despite all the hasty planning.
I'm so ANGRY at LSJ - he's a poisonous fruit alright. But I was mad at RanJoo too - she knew what he was, it couldn't be he'd have a change of heart ten years later, and she still went there. I hope they definitely manage to take the whole agency from him... and that the voice-syncing doesn't get exposed by plan or mistake.
Yay. I don't like the suspense and it's going to be a long week, but at least it's out in the open. There were some moments when his face looked so much like the young JKH's face, it was eerie.
Also, LSJ is SCUM of the deepest order. I hope his dog bites him.
You should definitely read the novel, or at least watch the donghua, too. (But I'd recc the novel more). LWJ is…
The novel isn't NSFW until the very last scene. I haven't read the manhua, since it's not done yet (I think). I did watch the donghua, read the novel and listened to the audio drama, LOL (they do sound effects hahaha). So I couldn't say how much the manhua goes by the novel. If it's accurate, you'd be safe from any spiciness (well, considering this IS WWX we're talking about... there will be some spice. For example, in the novel, he doesn't quietly and tenderly go with LWJ to Cloud Recesses once they meet again after the resurrection - LWJ has to drag him away by force, him AND the donkey, LOL, while WWX is protesting all the way, VERY loudly, LOL. And yet at the same time, LXC comments on how LWJ is so obviously happy with dragging this loud-mouthed stranger into his home. And then there are all the instances WWX tries to make LWJ disgusted by being extra gay and even clamouring to sleep in the same bed with him... on top oh him even. At which LWJ decides to take him up on his word LOL. Come to think of it, there are plenty of spicy moments in the novel. Again, not sure how it translates into the manhua).
The EXTRAS are NSFW though, LOL. But that's the norm in danmei.
PS There IS a blindfolded kiss in the novel, though. It made it in the "wifi detected" scene in the forest, LOL, in the drama. (After the defeat of the Wen Clan, before the defection... while they're in the forest having a monster hunting contest.)
Ok I forgot to give review of this drama1. ActingSeriously, Xiao Zhan acting is incredible. Sometimes I just stare…
You should definitely read the novel, or at least watch the donghua, too. (But I'd recc the novel more). LWJ is a deep pool. Obviously WWX is everyone's favourite, but novel LWJ is definitely his equal. And the extras to the novel tell you so much more of LWJ's obsession with this quicksilver spirit that is WWX - it's so worth it. You should read it - for science :D
I kind of think he is KiHo. He seems to remeber the date (and is kind of blunt toward everything, like KiHo was.) And she thanked HIM for the shoes? I thought KWH bought them.
I just love RanJoo (Kim HyoJin). She's the best character so far (among the adults). And boo! at LSJ. It didn't take too long for him to forget his breakthrough first artist, did it? And now he's sabotaging whatever is left of her career because of that contract. I hope she takes the whole agency from him.
I wonder what the dad's deal is. Is he trying to find KiHo to punish him for exposing who he was? Or is he really trying to make ammends? I tend to think he's looking for revenge, but I am ready to be pleasantly surprised. I wonder what would happen if he not only sees the brothers, but the mother, too. Is this KiHo's true family, or did they just adopt him? If she's his real mother, then the dad would probably recognize her, too...
This is a great drama so far, and a new song per episode definitely doesn't hurt, LOL, this is like Gravitation just in dramaland :D
What's wrong with this drama's airing schedule?! At first it was one episode per week which is okay, if not the norm. Then there's the two week break because of sports, and now yet another two weeks break?!
The first three eps were cute... but after the first long break, the 4th ep landed kind of flat, and now I'm beginning to wonder how the 5th will even relate to the first four. It's not that engaging in the first place, and if they keep breaking the flow it doesn't bode well for the rest of the series. I mean, one could tired of just waiting for sparkly bishounen moments LOL.
No hurry there, LOL. Anyway, these two are just two cats courting each other, claws are bound to come out from time to time LOL.

LOL he invented that trope in Ancient China :D
Thank you for the award - I don't know if it does anything, but it does look pretty :)
