Today's episode wrecked me and I can't moved on!! I'm a mess.

I'm at work and have two files w/ deadlines. I can't focus or do anything. LYF has become my identity. I don't know even know who I am anymore or who I used to be. How are we supposed to be for season 2?!!

I'm so excited. At least we get to pass our time with something else. I hope they follow the novel as closely as this one.

There's always that side to everything good. I just avoid it and scroll past. It won't lessen my enjoyment or influence my thoughts.

XL and the grand emperor were both alone. I think that up till this very point, that scene with all the contrast describes every decision every character has ever made.

Jing with his beloved grandmother but yet still so lonely. XL and grand emperor both made their graves and will lay in it. That also goes well with the saying that we are born alone and will die alone.

Yes that exchange b/w CX and XL about power was foretelling. CX, then and even now still feels helpless and useless when it comes to protecting and providing for his beloved. I think that's why his scene was the best one today (ep. 30). That denial, hopelessness, and refusal to break down cause once he does, he'll lose his mind and go insane. ZWY does such a great job at micro expressions.

Superb acting from Deng Wei. Jing pure devotion to live and die together was so incredibly moving. This is the kind of man XY needs, obviously she would be sad if he died but she's no longer conscious so that don't matter.

CX part was so sad. His words to XY about being left behind and abandoned as they gave her spiritual power were so powerful. It's literally the description of their entire life till present day. He's so terrified to lose his last person.

XL doing his hardest to find her. Tho we didnt get much of him in today's episode, I absolutely can't wait for next week's. Saw at the end that he wasn't doing mouth to mouth. Wonder if they changed that part or will he decides to just fuck it and do mouth to mouth since it took longer than expected to heal her and he ain't got that many calms to be wasting on feeding?

Lastly Yang Zi as always, slays. She delivers and over delivers. I think this episode overall very impactful. It also made me realize that despite all of the fighting amongst the male leads (and the fan shippers), it doesn't matter when it comes to XY. If she dies, everyone will be devasted. Does it matter who she ends up with or who she loves more? At this point, everyone loves her and is trying their hardest to save her. Doesn't matter who came first, who used more power, etc. They all love her and just want her to be happy (and alive).

We're already near the half way mark in the novel and I didn't expect today's episode to be this amazing and emotional topped w/ amazing crying scenes and good ass bgm/OST, i couldn't help but cry a few times. I ugly cried with Jing and silent cried with CX.

Episode 30 is by far my favorite episode. I feel like going forward, every episode is going to be my favorite and will outdo the previous one LOL

I met my Jing in high school and married him! He's
introverted and very quiet but a good husband and good match for my temper haha.

But till this day, I still think about my XL; he was the only one who ever gave me butterflies but he had too many girls so I wasnt trying to play that game.

I think he has improved a lot. Watching from start from Miss the Dragon to now, his eyes can emote and body language is well done. Of course he'll need more practice but compare to before, he's better.

I know when paired up again veteran like Yang Zi and two other amazing actors who are extremely good, it can be hard to shine. Let's see how he does as rhe show progress.

Jing - he wears his heart on his sleeve so we know he aint hiding it at all. He looks mad and hurt.

XL - pained and pissed but very in controlled of not letting it show since he always got his resting bitch face on we cant tell the difference.

CX - i agreed he's the funniest cause everytime something happens, he just does that dumb fake smile. It's so cute and funny. He did it to himself.

Oh damn. I dont think I'll ever be ready but I'm here for it all . I hope they put the whole ending of the epilogue with XL's voiceover when we get to that part.

Oh he definitely felt it. Remember when CX felt their neck biting scene and told WXL to reframe from pleasures LOL

Me as well! Cant wait to see ZLH in a lead role.

So in the novel, XL felt everything XY felt; from happiness to grief to heartache. XY has an internal monolog after Jing's death that XL must be so annoyed with her crying and being sad everyday.
XL can even tell when she's being insomniac or when she's had a good nights rest. Mind you, they are miles apart and he has no way of knowing these things. How us the readers know this is because of the little things that he does to inform us he was already aware when they meet again months later.

Also there's a scene in the future where they go mermaid watching and XY's heartbeat quickens cause she's blushing and nervous, he felt that cause he looked right at her the moment it happened. Many other readers may interpret that differently from me but those little moments is what showed me that the bug works both ways. The stronger person in this situation (XL) is able to suppress his that's why XY does not feel him. it's definitely very intrusive that's why XY kept bugging XL to go with her to remove it before she marries Jing cause you know, they gotta make babies.

Hopefully at the very end, all questions will be answered.

They're all stalking her at this point (except FL). People forget that tho XL does not physically watches her, he feels everything she feels. Talk about vulnerability. Cant hide nothing from him...

Imagine how XL felt feeling the sensation on XY's lips during the kiss. Flasback to CX feeling the bite on the neck.

I screamed more during the firework scene. I was not expecting XY to be that bold. Girl get yo man!!
