Man this was bad even for a short drama. In comparison, I think Undercover Affair was 10 times better and there are other decent ones out there.

This drama had a concept of a plot but had no idea how to give us the plot. characters say and do things that make zero sense. There are way too many obvious editing and continuity errors . The only redeeming factor of the drama is the ML and partially the FL. Both look great and ML is much better actor than others in the drama. Yes the skinshipnis great but it doesn't actually make much sense in the plot a lot of times so it is awkward.

Watch this for mindless fun but honestly even with lowest expectations I couldn't watch after the first 1/3rd and then skip watched it.

This drama had one of the most ridiculous premise set up I have seen recently. It feels like they decided FL should work undercover as MLs assistant and then made it happen with zero logic. everything from how the leads first speak to each other to how FL enters MLs life is so over the top ridiculous and unbelievable in real life.

I get that this is fiction and we watch it to get away from real life. But I need at least 20% of my brain involved so I can read subtitles and follow the plot. Even with majority of brain left at the door, this was whacky for me.

Episode 3 was the game changer for me. I was a bit confused by ep2 because what else is left in the story? I loved the twist the show started with but I was afraid it'll be 12 episodes of the same conflict. I did like the switch in perspective in ep3 which provides more context. I still wonder what they might have to fill the episodes with..just repeated mom interference? I'll give it a shot.

yup, this reminds me of Miss Day and Night now..with FL and SML having more quality time and romance.

I think ep 4 was the turning point for many. I personally loved first 3 episodes and ep 4 made me have mixed feelings. I'll still watch it because it is unique, but ep 4 added too many bonding scenes for FL with SML which was confusing..are they leading into a triangle or were they trying to show platonic friendship but it blurred the lines? It isn't clear yet but if they are going with triangle, it is too much complexity for this show.
And the SFL..kinda confusing how she was introduced which had shaken up the reviews a bit.

I agree!! Even if they didnt want a long distance relationship, there was no need for them to cut each other from their lives. Most people in this situation would at least stay in touch.

Yeah, this qas very 2010s move by the drama. Even if she wanted to work in Paris, why didnt they try to make a long distance relationship work?

His shoulders are so stiff! And even when he is standing around talking, it looks like he pulls his shoilder back too much and turns around in a robotic way.

I came here looking for this info. First few episodes there were real roadblocks and feelings to develop. But I am watching ep12 and was annoyed at how long it is taking them to confess. I'll skip watch and wrap it up.

Oh god, i didnt even recognize him from Amidst Snowstorm of Love!!! You are right..he is so robotic here in comparison. The styling also makes a huge difference since he does look older and more accomploshed in Snowstorm. He looks good here but so stiff.

Yeah, i really hope they resolve the triangle and maybe the story is focused on a big case where the prosecutor and ML fight it out?

I am in the same boat! Agree with every single point of your review. I did skip watch most episodes after ep 12-13. But i still finished it. Why? Because i kept thinking i was missing something others were hyping up! I saw reviews here, on reddit, edit videos on insta. People love it. I kept watching and omg, sure, the leads kiss more than other recent c dramas but you are right..it was all so weird and uncomfortable. I feel it was such a waste of getting all that through censorship for such a shitty story. I am mad at myself and the hope i had for the drama.

FL seems childish to me in how she responds to anything going wrong. Especially in the beginning, she pouts a lot. Like a toddler, not like a sexy pout. Especially around the ML. And then the loud crying on top of pouting in the orphanage. After a few episodes she settles down but for a while there she was like a toddler not getting her way.

Same here!! Such a waste of a great couple. I skipped a bunch of episodes and skip watched the last two. Glad i didn’t waste time on the plot twists.

I felt like the drama was such a waste of good chemistry! If they could pass this level of skinship past censorship, i wish they had a less angsty dramatic story that made more sense.

Yes! From her perspective it does make sense but i felt bad for him when he points out she never responded to his many messages. Must have been so confusing for him
