Yeah, it seems like a response to trauma.

Really pleasantly surprised so far. I’ve loved the director’s past works. Uses music effectively and knows how to tell a story. Bai Lu is really giving one of her better performances so far in recent years. Hope to see this develop well. Nice to hear Cheng Lei use his real voice as well.

Finally finished this! Great fun action adventure with some mystery. Not perfect but one of the best so far this year for me. Can definitely see this develop into multiple seasons if Youku plans it well.

This is a definitely an overly dramatic show, but I am enjoying Tang Xiaotian smirking ways. Xie Yangfang and Deng Yi remind me of a pair of peacocks trying to tell the other what's what.

Loved Luo Wensong’s character and the actor’s performance. Too bad he was gone too early.

Yeah the music feels like a temp track a lot of times. I think the show could have cooked longer in postproduction, but you’re right, it’s entertaining. I’m still watching to find out how our couple will win.

Yeah as far as mystery writing goes, definitely could be better. But I think the focus was on how in the world our trio would go up against such powerful people and have justice prevail.

I still have the last 4 episodes to go (whyyyyyy did it have to not release for days), so I’ll see how it all wraps up.

I hope we get a real cast announcement soon.

I know. But iQiyi posted a couple days ago, can still make a reservation for this drama so I have hope.

Also not a fan of the dubbing, but at least it’s been entertaining so far. We’ll see how it develops
