Very different. While both are essentially revenge stories, romance is not as important here as it was in TLB (which I also enjoyed too). However, I liked the chemistry between the leads here - it's understated and befits the generally serious tone of the drama.
If you like political intrigue, mystery and complex characters (the antagonists are really fascinating here), you should check this one out.

Yes, I really like her. She's a nice balance (as far as a character) to Zang Hai, in my opinion. He's all secretive and keeps things within himself. She's more let's just throw it all out in the open and just tells it to his face. I know the chemistry/relationship hasn't worked for everyone, but I quite like it. In all honesty, if they had just been friends, it would have also worked too for me for this story. But I can't resist a little romance.
In all seriousness, ZH is human and even as intelligent as he is and well-trained in deception and strategy, he can't possibly win at every turn. It's nice to have some competent antagonists in this story as well. Although, I'm ready to bid adieu to Eunuch Cao. He's outlived my patience and is another ghastly power-hungry maniac.
There's some deep conspiracy going on. Something big is going to go down.
