Maybe, she truly loved and cared for him which is why he didnt suspect anything. This is causing conflicting emotions…
It may be cliche (almost anything plot wise is, or has been at some time) but it's realistic. It is exactly the same as a story of a guy deep undercover who finds himself in sympathy with some of the bad guys. Lets see how many shows have used THAT - some of which get Academy Awards. But if it's love, oh, THAT'S terrible & unrealistic LOL Pfft.
For those complaining about Uee's weighthttps://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iMRsdpNnojc
Uee's agency might have made her - but this happens to celebrities in the US as well. That girl from Friends OMG I thought she might disappear at some point cause she kept losing weight! Anorexia is a big problem here. Korea might be the plastic surgery capital but body shaming is alive & thriving in the US :(
Is it really bad? I'd like to watch it because I loved Choi Siwon in 'She was pretty' and I think he's an amazing…
Siwon's part is not written as well as his part in She Was Pretty - but HE'S doing a fabulous job in this despite the writers. This is a light-hearted little show, with good acting, personable characters, interesting idea for the plot, but with only so-so writing, plot holes, & logic fails which keep it from being particularly great. I did enjoy it however. Loved the bromance between the 2 male leads.
This show had absolutely no plot. And the romance was mostly non-existent. So were there any reasons to watch…
You may not have LIKED the plot, but there certainly was one! For goodness sake, what is your definition of that word? There also was romance, although you are correct, it wasn't centered around it.
It amazes me that people who seemed to hate this drama from the first still bother to come here & rant about it. Just sad. This was a funny little rom com, which most certainly had a plot, & some fun characters as well. I recommend anyone who hates Siwon or Jang So Ra to just avoid this one, however. Oh, & the 2nd lead does NOT get the girl. Huge shock ~not~ But lovely bromance thru-out, can I say!
I was never really interested in them either, same for the bakery man and cafe lady parts :/
The bakery guy & his love are actually a LOT more integral to the plot than older brother. But again, these other stories are very much necessary for these 50+ episode weekend dramas, to make sure there's enough material It is why I like them.
AM i the only one who skip the big brother and his wife parts ? totally useless!but loving So Ra , the actress…
???? I don't skip anything - if I start feeling the need to do so, I start wondering if I should just drop the drama because that's indicative of bad writing or of lack of interest on my part with the entire show. I enjoy the actor playing the older brother immensely - I'm delighted to see him back in a drama, and I am certainly interested in his story. One of the reasons I love these long makjang weekend dramas happens to be the multiple storylines and the many fleshed out characters.
that last last minute romance was really unnecessary and cringy, since it's been nonexistent almost all episodes...…
Not true - exact same thing she did to HIM earlier! I thought it very appropriate, & very much a sub-text thru-out. I'm glad they did it so subtly, it was obvious they were attracted to each other from early on, but it didn't get in the way of the case going on.
