The bad:1. Unnecessarily and cheaply riding on the popularity of 3 nen A gumi. And what with every class member…
Sorry for my late reply. The story happened in the same city as the 3nenAgumi's school therefore you would see the students appeared here and there in each episode, but their existence was no more than a tree role in a kindergarten play...Nippon Noir happened after 3nenAgumi incident for the information...
I'm curious with the remake of Tokyo Love Story...still haven't watched the Sakamoto Yuji's version though...other than that I'm looking forward for: Eizoken, Radical Gag Family...already in PTW: Nembutsu, High Position...interesting plot but don't see it anywhere with sub: Kachobaka
LoL...such a simple story with a blend of action, mystery and investigation....the synopsis above might sounds complicated, but trust me the drama is much more easier to understand...
Nice! Young one meets a master and become his disciple...the type of cliche that I don't mind to see it over and over. It's just that some chapters felt ridiculously too easy, but the last chapter alone was good enough to compensate for it. Hoping for a sequel!!
Might be difficult for casual watch if you're not familiar with history... a lot of time-skip would make you feel lost with the story....the pace was slow and skippy for most of the part except for when Clara's character was in where things became a bit more dramatic but it's somehow felt inconsistent with the overall style....
It's an okay watch. The mystery part felt a bit off at some point in the middle of the series but you would get an explanation in the last episode however it was predictable and some parts weren't consistent with what have been shown in earlier episodes. 7.5/10
Nice one! Apart from the cuteness, this movie is great for giving awareness on depression and how surrounding people should react on a patient. Very informative!
Good drama with a bit of slice of life feel in several earlier episodes. In later part the focus was more on politics, but some funny/comedic moments from the earlier part were still carried forward in some of the scenes. The best highlight of this drama is definitely the Miyazaki x Sakai pairing. For history lover, this is one of those dramas that talked about Bakumatsu from the perspective of Tokugawa unlike many dramas of this era that are focusing more on people outside of shogunate. Unfortunately it was from the perspective of women in the Ooku, so many Tokugawa related important events were not explained in details...
It's episodic drama that could turn south if not written properly. However, the order of death cases was done just nicely with no individual story overpowering the other. All in all it has balance emotion throughout the series. Not something you would call a masterpiece, but I think this drama is good enough to make you stay until the last episode. 8/10
Overall not a bad drama with good production value plus amazing scenery....but story-wise it has spot ON and OFF moments with certain part being draggy. The script was also trying to over-rationalized the issues presented in the drama that it felt too meh at times especially during the final episode.... 7.5/10
Not bad movie with some comedic and serious moments. Although it could be better without the poor, comedy purpose CGI fight. Overall it's enjoyable even if you're not a fan of Ohno. 7.5/10
Very light movie perfect for casual watch....nothing fancy in here, not so much on the political side and not many indirect messages that you need to digest after watching...suitable for family as well 8/10
To be honest and fair, this drama is as good as any other Japanese family dramas. It has a good feeling and writing in it, with topics mostly related to family. What I like the most is the arguments presented by Mitsuru and his family members were all valid. Don't expect some out of this world plot though..
On the downside however, it lacks of dramatic moments IMO which could turn this into something memorable except for the scene during the marathon in the last episode... That one alone was brilliant, although it might look cheezy...
Overall, it's a good drama and highly recommended to everyone. 8.5/10
