Lmao. You are funny.
But you pretty much hit the nail on the head with your short review unlike me who went the long review route to hammer down my point.

That’s your opinion, I don’t agree with it but I respect it. Mine is the rewatch value is definitely 10/10. Actually am planning on rewatching pretty soon.
On Till the End of the Moon May 21, 2023
Let me start by saying it pains me so very deeply to rate this drama lower than 10 because I love Bai Lu so much and I like Luo YunXi a lot and their acting here was as incredible as I thought it was going to be.
Bai Lu played her characters something fierce. You could feel Ye XiWu’s inner battle between wanting to kill the chance of the devil lord resurrecting because of the horror she personally witnessed and falling in love with the Tantai Jin who isn’t yet the devil lord. The naivety that was Sang Jiu came through the screens and although Li SuSu was majorly relegated to the background during the final lifetime arc, BaiLu still managed to do her justice at the end part of the series when she finally shared the center stage. Kudos my girl.
But I must confess Luo was indeed the star of this show. He shone so damn brightly. god damn. If you think about it he had easy/hard characters to work with, easy in the sense that you can picture what they are supposed to be and emote it, hard in the sense that you can give either too much or give too little but boy oh boy he gave just the right and perfect amount. I was sold on all the characters. The way he played all the characters is mighty impressive. MingYe indeed felt like the god of war, Tantai Jin in Cheng Kingdom felt like a maltreated hostage and Tantai Jin in the Jing Kingdom felt like an unbeatable king. Cang Jiu Min felt like a sect member, and then what can I say about him playing the mighty and devious devil lord that would do his performance justice, I don’t think I have enough words to describe the performance so I will go with absolute perfection.
Why then isn’t this a perfect score for my rating?. The impressive acting displayed and the wonderful cast were seriously screwed over by their writers and I’m not sure I can convey enough how much the writers royally screwed the actors with this weak, useless and illogical plot. It was sooooooo painful to watch, the only thing that made me not drop the series was the combo of one of my fave actresses in Bai Lu, one of my fave CDrama couple in BaiLu & Luo YunXi, the magnificent setting/CGI, costumes and then the music.
The CGI was top notch, the costumes were so beautiful, elegant and powerful, it was a visually pleasing experience
The music was also so good too. Someone said that some of the outfits worn did not match the scene they were featured in. I kinda of agree with the person. Sometimes they felt overdressed for what the scene called for but I forgave them for that because the costumes were just that spectacular. Since the plot was rubbish anyways I might as well get my satisfaction from seeing beautiful costumes.
But god damn that plot was a total mess. I know with fantasy dramas the possibilities can be endless and the writers have a sort of freedom to go outside the box but that’s not what happened here, I had zero problems with the three lives and all but that’s where any sense in the plot ended. The rest of the plot just felt like the writers just wrote whatever the hell they wanted and to hell with the viewers and just honestly without any regards to the intelligence of the viewers. The writers didn’t feel they had any accountability to the viewers and I for one reached and exceeded my tolerance level for the foolishness that the plot became and I started fast forwarding after the dream arc. Lemme tell you, you cannot make up the incredulous nonsense the writers tried feeding and selling to us and I wasn’t eating or buying their crap. The level of misunderstandings in this drama was just so freaking unrealistic and unbelievable. Most of the decisions and actions taking by the characters did not make any sense. I understand plot device and plot advancement and when it’s done well you can forgive it and suspend your disbelief but when it’s cheaply done, it just ends up playing on the intelligence of the viewers. My friends and family know how much i hate when anyone tries to play with my intelligence or lie to me. I tend to be super unforgiving about any and both of them. It’s really hard to describe how awful the plot was without going into details and I can’t because I doubt the space will be enough and I don’t care to make this review lengthier than it’s already going to be. We have someone who is a known liar and a manipulator (to be honest I could not understand the power that was giving to this character in the first 2 lifetimes, it didn’t make any sense) but when she speaks grown ass people, supposedly smart people at that just take her her word as gospel. The amount of times I posted “so ridic” in the VIKI comments section where I watched can make up a script.
I’m not going to further waste my breath on the character that is Tian Huan and Ye BingChang, she was already giving way too much importance that I’m not willing to give her anymore. Although I do echo someone else who said they were glad that Sang Jiu gave her a solid ass whooping, although it wasn’t nearly enough in my book for what she deserved but alas we got what we got.
The amount of blood they spat in this series was enough to start a drink business lemme tell you. Lol
Gongye JiWu’s arrogance and delusions of grandeur did not evoke whatever the writers thought it was, I just found him super annoying and useless. IMO he was basically more weak/useless after every lifetime. It’s unbelievable and he was intolerable to me.
Even though he temporarily betrayed Tantai Jin, one of my fave characters is still Nian Baiyu, the way he was loyal and loved Tantai Jin unconditionally was something for the books.
Another thing that I didn’t necessarily like and was not a fan of at all, was that they went a little too far with the satanic occultist vibes.
Honestly a part of me regrets watching this but I know i would have watched it because of my love for the cast members I stated above. I live by a code, I might not care for something afterwards but if I make a decision to do something, I will stand by that decision. So ultimately I can’t really say I regret it. But I definitely won’t be rewatching it that’s for sure

Anyone who says this drama is boring are not very smart people and probably have below average intelligence IMO. Sorry not sorry.
To understand and enjoy this masterpiece, because ladies and gentlemen it’s indeed a masterpiece, you need to have extremely high level of intelligence and smarts. It’s unfortunately not for everyone.
For those that it’s for, I know you had one hell of a ride watching it like I did.

Title Not Me
I understand trying to do something when you feel oppressed by powerful organizations, persons or even leaders of your country but IMO you cannot commit a crime to justify your actions. While their passion as a collective to change things was quite admirable, their numerous half baked plans with some members always having some sort of reservations in every mission rendered their intentions and actions thereafter not just ineffective but anticlimactic. If you are going to go the route the boys were determined to go, the convictions have to be resolute.
There is some sort of weird kool aid, the people who watch and comment on BL series on YouTube drink, every BL series on YouTube is the greatest series they have all ever watched and the actors are the greatest actors of all time, reading comments on YouTube is like, you enter a weird cult like environment where everyone holds hands around the camp fire singing kumbaya and anyone who is not willing to fall in line with their comments will be termed a hater. The shit is very weird.
We were told so many times how Black was such a badass gang leader but after Black woke up, the only thing that was badass about him was his swagger and pissed off expressions, IMO Black was way overrated and they tried to show us the badass-ness with that hospital scene and honestly I was just rolling my eyes at the unbelievability of those takedowns. Although White has a “I want to cry all the time” resting face, Lol, I still preferred White to Black.
The actor that played Black/White is not the next best thing to slice bread unlike what 98% of the YouTube commenters will want you to believe but he sure did a very fine job with the dual role. We knew who black was and who white was when they were on screen. So kudos to the actor.
I honestly didn’t care much for the second couple. They just felt very forced to me.
I really liked the tender moments & romance between White and Sean.
Overall it was a really good series to watch. I don’t regret watching it and I enjoyed it for the most part.
I doubt I would ever rewatch this but it’s worth watching once.

No. It’s not that kind of series. Both MLs have love interest and they spent a little bit of time with said love interests but there was not really any romance or kiss. But it was so enjoyable to watch IMO.

Unexpectedly good
Honestly while watching this series, I almost stopped so many times but every time I wanted to stop Jiang Xiao Yu will do something that makes me wanna continue. I swear I watched this solely for Jiang. I saw so many bad reviews on this and while I agree with some of the points that lead to the bad reviews I will say this, Chen Zhe Yuan totally carried this series all by his lonesome self and boy did I enjoy every fricking minute he was on screen. I stumbled across this series and I watched it in one go even though I wanted to stop several times as earlier said.
Hu Yi Tian character was so stoic and so boring and I think the actor could have done better even though his character was supposed to be all serious. I honestly have never liked anything that Hu Yi Tian has done.
The best part of this series is definitely when Jiang says he’s the smartest person in the world and I completely agree with him.
This is such an underrated gem IMO.
If you are debating to watch this, I honestly highly recommend.
Rewatch value is 7/10 just because if I ever do rewatch I would only rewatch the scenes with Jiang in them.

Title Vincenzo
My first foray into Asian Dramas
My youngest sister started watching Asian shows so many years ago. Whenever we saw her watching them, she would be so engrossed and I for one couldn’t understand what she was enjoying from it, it left me baffled. I vehemently refused to join her in watching any of them.
2021 was the fateful year I entered into the Asian Drama world and I can never forget it.
I kept seeing Vincenzo (my absolute favorite genre is revenge) and it looked like it was up my alley and I decided to test out the Asian drama waters with this series, honestly after 2eps I almost dropped it (if I had that probably would have been the beginning and end of my foray into watching Asian dramas) but for some reason I decided to continue and boy oh boy was I glad I did.
To say I have falling completely in love with Asian dramas since 2021 and have watched so many since then and rewatched so many is an understatement, and it’s all thanks to Vincenzo. So obviously Vincenzo has a very very very special place in my heart.
Now to the review itself. OMG did I say I liked revenge dramas, I was in revenge heaven with this drama. The highs I got from this drama is better than any drugs out there (I haven’t done any drugs).
The way Cha Young and Vincenzo were on the same page after they teamed up together was a thing of beauty. They trusted each other completely and worked in sync. The thing I loved the most was that none of them was boggled down by foolish self righteous morality, they both knew the evil people needed to be punished severely after several warnings were issued and ignored, and boy oh boy did they plan and execute their revenge with incredible aplomb. They are the revenge dynamic duo, they are my revenge dynamic duo. The love I have for Vincenzo and the cast is beyond belief. I don’t know if the reason I love it so much was because it was my first or because it was revenge but whatever the reason is, I really don’t care but I am completely and irrevocably in love with the series and cast.
The blend of comedy, drama and revenge was so well done, like I said I was in tv heaven with this series.
Thank you so much Vincenzo for opening my eyes and heart to the world of Asian dramas. You have a reserved and special place in my heart for all times.
Rewatch value is 10/10, that should be very obvious (I have rewatched so many times and will keep rewatching)
Overall is obviously 10/10.
On What's Wrong with Secretary Kim May 14, 2023
When you know someone’s weakness, short comings, flaws and all and still accept them for all that, that was Kim Mi So towards Lee Young Joon aka Vice President in this drama. He was a narcissistic character but he wasn’t a bad person. He was adverse to being touched and while we got to know the reason for it, it didn’t excuse some of his narcissism.
Mr Aura-ous Vice President. The way he says that aura was always so cringe on so many levels but it was also funny and adorable at the same time.
I loved their relationship so much and boy did they have steaming chemistry.
Kim Mi So: I am not going home tonight, I’m not going to go home, I’m going to stay by your side thought out the whole night
Vice President: If you come into my house like this, I wont be able to control my pace tonight, tonight I don’t plan on stopping.
That exchange and what came (pun intended) after was so hawt and sexy, damn chills.
This was the series that made me a fan of both Park Ming Young and Park Seo Joon.

On Falling into Your Smile May 14, 2023
I am completely and irrevocably in love and obsessed with this series. I have watched it so many times, I have lost count and I’m still going to keep rewatching it over and over again. I cannot even put into words how much I love this series. Lu Si Cheng aka Chessman and Tong Yao aka Smiling will always have my heart. God Ming also stole my heart.
My one complain and honestly I was super infuriated with that scene is how Lu Si Cheng treated Tong Yao when the got back to their base after her scuffle with an opposing team member, he “punished” her to stand outside until she acknowledges her mistake, that was wrong on all levels and honestly left a very bad and sour taste in my mouth. It’s very prevalent in CDramas to make the ML treat the FL as if he is her lord and master and they even go as far as making the ML punish the FLs like a child or threaten the FL with punishment if he feels she has erred, this trope is absolutely ridiculous and infuriates me so badly as the FLs are grown ass women and are not the properties of these MLs, they thereby don’t need any lessons taught via punishment to them. CDrama Writers and directors need to do better on the portrayals and treatment of not just their FLs but also their female characters.
Let me tell you I have watched a whole lot of shows over the last 3years I started watching Asian shows and my top4 is still in no particular order, Falling into your smile, Word of honor, Vincenzo and Who Rules The World.
I don’t know if the feeling I was trying to portray came through enough with the above write up but I will reemphasis, I am absolutely crazy about this show with the exception of that scene stated above. Wish I could give it more than 10 stars.
Bravo cast and crew. Bravo indeed
Rewatch value is obviously 10/10 (I have rewatched so many times and will keep rewatching)

On Love Designer May 14, 2023
I just read a review where the reviewer was complaining bitterly about the amount of product placement. I totally get it and while I wasn’t as pissed off about the product placement issue like said reviewer was I do understand their frustration.
My frustration was with the second couple. I actually liked Zuo Yulin aka FiveThree and Qin Qing as a stand alone character without their romance. FiveThree was smart, nice and loyal. While Qin Qing was annoying most of the time and took her bestie role way too far sometimes but she was supremely loyal to Zhou Fang and I can appreciate that. But they spent so much time on the second leads relationship and drama, sometimes it felt like they were the lead couple, if they had significantly reduced their screen time I believe this would have had better reviews.
Then why the 10/10 everything, the love I have for Zhou Fang and Song Lin runs very deep. They are my favorite CDrama couple of all time.
That accident rain scene, OMG, it gave me chills and goosebumps. I have watched a lot of CDramas that have good chemistry and whatnot but most of them felt like acting which wasn’t a bad thing because they are indeed acting and most of them acted super well but here it didn’t feel like acting at all between Zhou Fang and Song Lin, it felt so real, the way it felt so real and not acting made me believe that the rumors of Johnny and Dilraba dating might just be true.
Song Lin’s sister Song Luo was my favorite character after my couple. They started her off with the typical annoying teenager troupe (but it was a bit understandable because of what she has gone through) but boy did she become so adorable. I absolutely loved her.
Rewatch value is 10/10 (I have rewatched so many times and will keep rewatching) but every time I rewatch I skip all the parts of Qin Qing and FiveThrees relationship/story
The second lead couple dragged down this series so badly but i will still rate it the highest because it’s my go to romance series.
Overall 10/10
On Falling into You May 14, 2023
The level of matured-ness that was this series is unbelievable. The chemistry between our leads was off the charts. I must give big credit and kudos to Wang An Yu because his ability to portray Duan Yu Cheng as a young guy who is also matured in so many ways was incredible and very believable. He is such a good actor, I was convinced that although he is young he was matured enough to pursue a relationship with Luo Na.
The plot was ok, I enjoyed the fact that we got to see the work and dedication that was put in. My first love is sports and I have the biggest respect for athletes because I know how much effort most of them put into their craft.
The kiss scenes in this drama is hands down the best in any CDrama that I have watched and I have watched quite a few.
2nd place in my opinion is Lighter and Princess between Li Xun and Zhu Yun. They were so fire đŸ”„ too.
3rd place is Love Designer between Zhou Fang and Song Lin (they are actually my favorite CDrama couple of all time followed closely by Chessman aka Lu Si Cheng and Smiling aka Tong Yao in Falling into your smile).

On The Devil Judge May 14, 2023
#TeamYoHan
Kim GaOn is the most useless, weak, self righteous goody2shoes masquerading as a good person character. His character as a judge lacks believability, there is no way such person can ever be a successful lawyer much less a judge. Someone that can be easily manipulated, doesn’t have any self convictions and goes wherever the wind blows and always looks like he wants to cry, could never have made it to any judicial bench in any country in the world even in Korea I believe. I swear to God I would have dropped this drama with how many times the rage and anger in my heart was boiling to the extent I felt like I could literally explode with how completely useless the character GaOn was. Don’t even get me started with his cop girlfriend, she was basically of no use in the series and someone said Elijah’s wheelchair was more useful than GaOn and I think that statement applied to his cop girlfriend. She points her gun at people like it’s a toy, she goes to into dangerous situations without calling for backup and conducts vindictive/personal unauthorized investigations. You are a cop that claim you seek justice but knew of the corruptions going on and she never went after any of the corrupt officials but she was hell bent on going after YoHan and bringing him down because she was jealous of his budding relationship/friendship with GaOn, her character did not make any sense and I feel the writers just threw her in there in other the combat the BL tone the series was giving with the intense chemistry of YoHan aka Ji Sung & Park Jin Young aka GaOn. I solely blame the writers and directors for giving us such a useless character, that was basically a waste of space.
The chairwoman was such a badass character. She was evil and knew why she was evil and made no apologies for it. She was super smart and the actress who played her portrayed the sultry creepy evil mastermind to perfection.
The President was such a weird character because he was more like a comedic relief that no one asked for.
Why then did I not drop the drama and rate it so high if I had all this complain and fury, ladies and gentlemen it’s because of the enigmatic character called YoHan played by the ultra super talented Ji Sung. OMG he was everything and so much more. He’s charisma and presence as the chief judge was captivating, enthralling and like I said literally everything. His little smiles and smirks like he knows your deepest darkest secrets and he’s going to use them against you and there is nothing you can do about it was insanely good. He reminded me so much of Vincenzo because he has brains and brawn in equal measure, I slightly preferred Vincenzo because he wasn’t boggled down by self righteous morality and faced evil with evil, dishing out revenge especially capital revenge punishment to the deserving perpetrators, while the writers here saddled YoHan with the useless and weak GaOn as kind of a moral compass that ended up biting him in the ass in ep15. YoHan I support you and everything you did 1000%. An eye for an eye, a tooth for a tooth, a life for a life. If you kill someone and you are not remorseful and apologetic instead you are arrogant about it then you deserve to die, no ifs and buts about it.
It’s so sickening and disgusting when people feel very sad and bad for the punishments (I don’t care how severe it is) a perpetrator receives instead of feeling anger/rage for the pain and crime against the victim. What is good for the goose is good for the gander. If you deprive someone of their ability to live in this world then you should be deprived of yours too. Simple as that in my book.
YoHan’s badassry and the chairwoman’s cunning savagery made me rate this show highly because I refuse to let the mastery that were these characters be overshadowed by the uselessness that was GaOn and his cop girlfriend.
I doubt I will be rewatching this because I don’t think I can endure watching GaOn & that cop girl again so it’s 5/10 for me, if I ever do I will rewatch only the live court scenes, they were so damn good.
Overall 9/10.
I highly recommend but prepare to be frustrated and angry.
On Meeting You May 12, 2023
Title Meeting You Spoiler
This was 5-10 eps too long.
Honestly if they had cut down on the episodes this might have been much better. I shockingly enjoyed the beginning part of the drama aka the high school period over the second half of the drama aka the college period. The writers lost the plot in the 2nd half and it was super boring and beyond ridiculous.
There was nothing absolutely nothing based on reality in this drama in the aspect of the characters, they were just all too unrealistic especially the Male Lead but I wasn’t really mad at it, I love watching series for the fantasy even though I still want it to be rooted in a little bit of realism.
You might have thought we would, for the 1st time escape the hospital troupe in a CDrama but low & behold that was not to be, they found a way to insert it into the drama come hell or high water.
I struggled so badly with the rating for this drama because with how much I loved the 1st 18eps, the vein in which I loved it, is in the same vein in which I loathe the remaining 10eps. The brightest star of this show is the little boy, he was such a delight and stole every scene he was in, I also liked the high school teacher, he sure has the best teacher award from me.
Do I regret watching this, not really but I definitely will not be rewatching this drama as I struggled to finish it and was thankful for the fast forward button which was maximally utilized from ep21 and I honestly ended up not caring about both the main lead couple and the secondary couple, no matter how much I initially enjoyed their diabetes induced sweetness because it had no humph to it and ended up being a juvenile middle school romance. I wish Young Beautiful Shu ended up with Sibo and not Cheng Erluo, he was better off as her best friend to be honest and it would have made the drama much better IMO.
FYI to CDrama writers not every childhood crush should end up together forever, forcing this troupe when it doesn’t work just brings down the value of the drama but what do I know..
Rewatch value 3/10

You are right about the target audience. The majority of the watchers are from the younger generation but that…
Lmao. I laughed reading this. Nowhere did I say it was childish or immature in a downgrading way. I said it was for a specific target audience, although it wasn’t limited to just said target audience as someone said their elder relative enjoyed the series. I just wasn’t one of the people who enjoyed it as it wasn’t my cup of tea.
BTW that wasn’t me rationalizing anything, it was my thought process written out on why I didn’t enjoy it. It is my right to either like or not like as it’s also your right to not only just enjoy it but also make a whole podcast about it.
The only thing you are right about is that I don’t care to hear your opinion.
I get defending the series you like, I can respect that but what you won’t do is to dare to come for me.
You really don’t want to trade word of wars with me. I will leave it at that.
