To say the romance in this drama was muted is an understatement. Even though it was touching it felt very flat and lifeless, I wish they gave the romance life. Also they went extremely overboard with the weird lightening and filter, it was really very obvious and it was distracting at times to watch.
But it was a good drama especially the first half of it. I knew right away who the main villain was going to be, to me it was pretty obvious even though they kinda tried to keep it low key until like ep20 or so.
The irony of doing a drama about including women in the imperial court but making women the greatest villains of the drama is definitely not lost on me or any other viewer for the matter, making the villain that psychotic, unhinged and basically a sociopath just destroyed the very message they claimed they were trying to convey which was women can be and should be officials if qualified. That’s the major reason I took points from the drama.
CDramas and making female characters be extremely vile, vicious, unhinged, wicked, evil and all any of the unpleasant words you can imagine is really very disappointing, the level they make this female characters reach is beyond my comprehension because I don’t know any of those type of women in my life but oh well.
I doubt I will ever rewatch this but I recommend for a one time watch.

I am not a fan of Meng. She has such a woe is me attitude. I’m sorry but she really shouldn’t have been casted for this show. Everyone has to keep walking on eggshells because of her. No boy can flirt with the girl he likes freely in front of her because they don’t want to hurt her feelings, what BS?.
And her conversation with Shi Yi was such an eye-roll moment for me, I completely agree that Shi Yi should have rejected her in a firm and polite manner instead of avoiding her but her claiming she only wanted to get to know him and be friends is such BS, she likes(d) him and was always crowding his space and talking to him. Why wasn’t she also trying so hard to be “friends” with Ma and Shen?
It’s mature and polite to try and get along with everyone in the house as they are all living there for the duration but I simply do not agree that someone must talk to you. Everyone should have the right to have as minimal or maximum interactions with other people as they want based on mutual understanding.
After reading that Shen and Xiong are still dating, I am so excited for them, can’t wait to finish watching and see how that relationship develops.
Take Shen for example, right from the beginning he has wanted Xiong, he keeps doing everything he can for her to recognize and accept him but he’s doing it so respectfully and giving her space when needed, although he pouts when she interacts with the other guys, he’s not making things weird and uncomfortable for her and everyone else, at least as far as I have watched.

There were just a lot of eye rolling moments especially in the medical parts of the show. And like you said for such a big/fancy hospital setting, the lack of correct procedures and attention to details was just intolerable for me. Lucky you for dropping this on time, I unfortunately wasn’t that lucky and had to endure a very painful viewing experience.

I’m currently @ ep4 but I wanted to say this, when your mom tells you that the only reason she gave birth to you was so you could look after your brother, wow, I don’t know how anyone can come back from that, because that’s just so wild and traumatic on all levels.

Honestly I like the premise of the drama but some details in the execution left me smh. That Ok psychiatrist hospital was just a prop in the drama, there was basically no work done there, it was just for gossip and drama. The three leads had severe traumatic experiences but they didn’t seek extensive treatment, they should be in therapy both individually and collectively before they can become that real family they are seeking, after everything they went through I’m not buying the kumbaya family times without proper treatment for the 3 of them but what do I know. I know that Sang Te met with the director doctor sometimes and Gang Te also talked with him a couple of times too but it felt to simplistic in terms of the severity and enormity of the situation.
I finally decided to watch this drama after a long time of putting it off, if I never watched it, I really won’t be missing much IMO, so I can’t say I recommend or not.
I definitely won’t be rewatching this.

People saying that this has no plot, I don’t agree with that. The plot is basically clear. She’s out for revenge for her dead friend, how more clearer can it be? The movie is a revenge drama and doesn’t pretend to be anything more than that. It delivers for me in what it sets out to accomplish. The fight scenes where actual very decent although some suspension of belief is required at times, it had overall good/decent fight scenes.
She took my face and my Lamborghini should be an iconic phrase. Lol.
It’s not something I would rewatch but I do recommend for a one time watch.

Right from the beginning of the show I didn’t believe a single thing that came out of Orbit’s mouth and I still don’t. He basically designed the play and route of the final 3’s game and then made a rookie mistake, yeah right, puh-lease. Either Dong Joo drank his kool aid or she just doesn’t want to call him out because I 💯 believe he intentionally screwed her over. I feel like he’s full of BS and using reverse psychology to make the other players believe his BS. The persona he was putting on in front of the other players right before the final match was so fake I cringed so bad, I’m actually glad the Joon Bin called him out even though he did it jokingly
I am so happy that Seok Jin won. Extremely well deserved. He brought it home for their 4person alliance.
The bond between Seok Jin, See-Won and Dong-Jae was literally everything. They genuinely supported each other. I was so happy to see the moments between them in final episode, especially when Dong-Jae was telling See-Won that Seok Jin made it to the finals and when Seok Jin was telling See-Won how devastated he was when she was eliminated. What an incredible trio. Unfortunately Guillaume didn’t last long enough to solidify the fantastic four they could have been.
Overall good game.

When Yurisa was basically threatening the other players with kicking them out if they don’t do what she says, it was beyond ridiculous and I was surprised that most of the players were falling for it, at first, atleast. Especially when an announcement was even made that the Pandora’s box was not opened.
Best believe if I was a player I would have called a team meeting and called her ass out.
I will say, so you expect all of us to believe that you not only kicked out Xitsuh but have the ability to kick every one of us out, so the producers of the game, created this elaborate game with this huge mansion for us to just play a whole whopping 2games and let you have the power to eliminate everyone on the 2nd or 3rd night because you are what, Queen of Sheba, and then what, the game ends, what kind of delulu pills are you on, I would like to slap that delulu along with the constant smug, sarcastic, creepy and superior smile on your face but since I can’t do that, I highly suggest you trade those delulu pills for some humble ones and take several seats somewhere. End speech and then walk away.

Just finished and IMO, no it didn’t get any better.

So this was on my watchlist because I like YangYang but dang.
There is so many things wrong with this drama and IMO the only good thing about this drama is the visually appealing casts and their camaraderie with each other and also some of the emotionally charged rescue scenes.
So far this drama doesn’t really care about details/continuity and also getting proper procedures right. I am by no means a medical professional or a firefighter but even I can tell a lot of things that has happened so far didn't seem right and is so unbelievable and unrealistic but I guess the emotional tug of it is canceling out the lack of realism for a lot of people.
Then let’s get to the main leads, I love YangYang but the constant stoic frowny face was not giving at all. Sometimes his expressions were over the top and not adequate for the corresponding scene.
That face worked in Who Rules The World because he was supposed to be shrouded in mystery as Prince Feng Lanxi with the alter ego of Hei-Fengi, it didn’t work that well in You Are My Glory but the script/plot in that one was better and also the chemistry/maturity of the characters covered up for it. I guess YangYang equates serious/intense with Stoic/frowny face.
But in this one I can barely feel any chemistry between the leads (which is surprising considering the rumor that they are dating). We are being told that they have this epic love that has made both of them stay single and maybe even celibate for 10years but I just can’t see it in the present time, we can’t see why they like each other because they end up fighting after almost every conversation and don’t seem to have the same life ideals and values. Even the flashbacks we’ve been shown so far doesn't really show me this epic love story, it was cute and all for a high school romance but nothing so life altering in the way it’s being presented in the present time. So honestly it doesn’t make you really care about the lead’s getting together. How many high school romance make it all the way?
The FL is basically suffering from Stockholm syndrome with her family and I seriously get the trauma she is dealing with but some of her character portrayal doesn’t make any sense. She’s very weak/meek towards her mom which is very understandable according to the storyline so far. But I don’t get why she is sassy/bold with the ML one minute but whenever they get into the rinse/repeat rollercoaster scene that has been their interactions for the last 20eps where they have the we can’t be together because I don’t have the courage to fight for you but I will be stalking you and asking you why you aren’t seeking me out all the time & fighting for me even though I am the one that can’t commit to the relationship because of my family conversation and she’s uttering this words in the most lowest voice possible with downcast eyes and pathetic/demur demeanor.
I honestly tolerated the pathetic/weak/timid/demur characterization of the FL because of the upbringing she had but my tolerance level went to ZERO after the supermarket scene in ep20. The female lead had always not only stood up to her creepy delusional brother prior to that scene but also even lashed out at him but all of a sudden we are supposed to accept her acting terrified/petrified of him in the supermarket all because of a freaking bag of chips, puhhhh-lease. That scene made zero sense and was done for no other reason than the ML and the FL’s brother to have a testosterone filled pissing contest and for the ML to be the hero and save the day by rescuing the FL and honestly it was just beyond ridiculous.
I should have dropped this drama but I will complete it with the help of the fast forward ⏩ button and except you really like any or both of the leads or you just want to watch a fire fighting show where you don’t really care about accuracy and correct details/procedures then go ahead and watch this otherwise I strongly advise you to not bother with this.

Even with the fast forward ⏩ this was a struggle to finish. It didn’t get worse by any stretch of the imagination and although there were lots of cute scenes and heartbreaking scenes that tugged at the heart, for me it didn’t get any better either.
Typical CDrama kumbaya ending. It’s so weird that a wedding was talked about so much in lots of episodes but there was now no wedding at the end of the drama, I don’t really understand the directional decision on that but honestly I didn’t even care because I was just happy to finally finish the drama and put it in the forgotten pile.
The drama just had lots of doom and gloom and the romance while cute at times was very muted for an adult based drama so it didn’t even balance out all the heaviness of the doom and gloom.
I definitely won’t ever be rewatching this. Like I said earlier except you are a HUGE fan of either of the leads or want to watch a highly questionable “right procedural” fire fighting and error filled medical show, by all means have at it, if not, do yourself a favor and don’t bother with this.

It really was a weird drama in regards to how I felt about it, usually I have a whole spiel after watching a drama but I am almost loss for words on what to write with this one.
Although the couples were cute and adorable, the plot was thinner than a sheet of paper.
I simply can’t forgive a mannequin mouth press dead fish kiss especially from the lead couple of a series in a show done in 2023, but the other 2 couples delivered, I just wish there was more of a plot.
There were some good dialogues and banter though.

Wow. If you are looking for an adult/matured drama with intense spicy and sexy time then this drama is definitely for you.
None of that I’m almost 30yr old characters who look scandalized/terrified with hand grazes/touches and accidental body contact and also the I have never touched the hands of the opposite sex much less kissed any before but I am also 30yrs old unrealistic BS.
It was short and could have done with a longer run time and few more episodes but I will take what we got.
It highlighted real struggles that a lot of women even men go through and I was very happy about the FLs decision. I supported her 100%.
Just because a guy is “good” and likes a girl doesn’t automatically mean she must reciprocate those feelings whether she wants to or not or even ready for it. Bashing her and calling her names was just crazy and so misogynistic.
I am undecided if I would ever rewatch this but I highly recommend for anyone looking for a really matured spicy/sexy adult drama.

This pacing of this show was so weird/wild and all over the place especially in regards to the timelines. With a better script, better pacing and longer run time, this would have been one of the best KBLs because the chemistry of our leads was good.
My major complaint would be how the character “intern” Jun was written, a lot of people are being very generous when they say he was clueless but I think it was more than that, he was basically written like he had no IQ or EQ, he didn’t know anything at work and also couldn’t tell that even one of three guys liked him, then we are suppose to believe that he came up with the concept that was used at the end, puh-lease, plot armor at its finest.
The leads with the 2 SMLs and the 3 female characters acting was really decent though. Some of the side characters or extras were over acting but over all pretty decent acting.
The actor that played the director was such a whole damn mood. He was the shining star of this drama hands down. He’s facial expression were incredible and they were giving hunnnyyyy.
I don’t think I will necessarily rewatch this but I do recommend if you are looking for something fast/easy with good chemistry even though half the time it was discombobulated and didn’t make much sense.

I just started and although I have read the “good reviews” so far this is not giving @ all. Of course the main lead can’t die in ep1 but like seriously, the brother of the dead guy shooting all those shots and not even one bullet grazed him especially in such close proximity, puh-lease and then the push from our other lead, who shocker, materialized out of nowhere, I don’t even know if it was a push or a hit and the guy just flew so dramatically. I will keep watching and hopefully all those “good” reviews were actually onto something. Fingers crossed.

So in ep4 they want us to blindly accept that Tanthai was so drunk that he could barely stand (which was doubled down on with the restroom drunk scene, which was witnessed and then narrated later by Tinn) hence couldn’t be the one who was driving the car that hit his niece but we saw Tanthai getting questioned by the police right after the accident scene and he didn’t look the kind of drunk that was described here in ep4 nor tipsy.
I am not really getting the rave reviews about this except people are so taking by the interesting premise that they are overlooking the obvious flaws in this series. It’s not bad by any means but IMO, it’s not worth the rave reviews at least up until ep4 that I have watched.

The fact that you think the possibility and not even a known fact that maybe 1 or 2 people refusing to watch this fictional drama because of my review is worth wishing death on one of my parents so I can know how loss feels shows what a deranged lunatic you are.
