I refuse to let the ending of episode 8 be like that, so here's my theory:I don't think there was a brain transplant.…
Even for a kfiction, it is really insulting that within 20 years Korea couldn't produce any other best neurosurgeon other than a serial killer who's been in jail for 20 years and not on duty?though he did all the practices with mouse still, when you don't operate on man for 20 years, your skills couldn't be said at the best state. Not to mention the medical technilogy in 20 years is being wasted for an unused skill of a vet (he should be called a vet doctor, or he's kot even a doctor anymore by legal standing sincr he must have lose his permit being a killer violating his oath). If they let this kind of twist into the drama, wow that's not just crazy but it's a real insult to all the good doctors who spent their years studying and working really hard in their field of duty. Like yea, only a doctor who happened to be violating his Hippocratic Oath by mercilessly and brutally taking the lives of other human beings now is the only hope to save a life, and the lame doctors at the hospitals all just bending the law and regulations to make it a secret op...it's a fiction yes, anything can happen in a fiction understand, but even in a fiction there are some lines can't be crossed, and now they're making as if doctors can do whatever they want in the name of saving a life (but for one specific life, not for others in the same state just because this is a drama), and the only hope for them is now in the hands of a man who enjoy taking lives as his side job? Thats absurd and hurting our common sense.
If it is a science fiction, the story that cross the line of common logic, usually explained and done by people who don't live by the common logic standard (if I should make an example, like Awaken or L.U.C.A). And this is not anywhere near that kind of story.
If the writer going that direction, it will be very disappointing because it will be too much of a twist. It has its thrill and suspense yes but it lost its charm, lots its good measure.of a good story line and become just another crazy pool of twists that's not giving viewers anything but unecessary thrills and suspense feeling. And how can we call it a good story then?
I really hope the writer is just playing with us...this drama started out good and in every next episode it's getting even more better until ep 8. Good or bad, too many twists also can ruin a good drama. I just hope that it's not going that direction with HH doing the transplant (no matter what he should have lost his medical license and for fridge sakes how can the writer doing so, thinking viewers are stupid people who can't rationale a simple logic because this is a fiction?) ......
Let's just hope it's all the writer playing games with us...and that HH was there for a check up (remember he's having his chest hurt either it is an excuse or not, he was in the infirmary) and or someone is helping him out to go see his dying son? It is more logical like that, that he is allowed to visit his son in the hospital and BY mistaking that as HH is doing the surgery?
I don't think I will be continuing with this if the story going too far with too many twists and just depending on that to attract the viewers. But of course it could be my subjective pov that this drama is not as I expected.to be....but anyway let's see how it play out to half part of the whole 20 episodes.....
Okay I take it back that Han Seojun is not the Headhunter. He clearly was the one who made Hongju tie up Song…
Oh my really? This is crazy lol. I have guessed that it could be another killer (HJ's dad or someone else) then it turned out it was HSJ was indeed using a child as his minion to lure his victim....really it makes my brain almost burnt because of working too hard to guess this and that...
suspected brain transplant cause he sees memories that might not b his ? suspected heart transplant cause he feels…
Even there's no relation between heart and feelings or emotion (it's all chemical reaction in the brain) i totally agree with you...it will be a total flop and making this drama lost its charm...one scientific factor is already too many for making this story a complicated one, now adding a non scientific fiction into it will make this like a total waste of a story. It's not even a science fiction drama.
if the brain transplant thing is real i am definitely dropping this.....i want to cling on the possibility that…
One science fiction is enough here...that psychogenetic stuff...and it's already create such a complicated story...now if they really add the brain transplant thing into the story...it'll be to many factors to focus on and to explain about....not to mention the characters development...no matter how good the plot is...when it's going off track...it just another nonsense despite the thrill and suspense (this drama is not even about science fiction).
I just hope it isn't goung that direction since I really like this drama lol.
I think you haven't watched it, she knew who he was, and she hid it because she said in episode 7, "I went through…
I watched it, she knew that YH as the son of HH and believed that he's not like his father, she even had intimate relationship with him. But it's all changed because of that kidnapping case and with KMC found the basement room and also bloody shoes in the garage...KMC was angry and disappointed at her when he rebuked her for hiding it from him and asking her if she knew YH really is. And she found that Goatman band-aid belong to BY's granny. She once asked KMC why he has to catch the son of HH too, like what's the point that the son has not related to his father's crimes, but KMC consumed by anger and revenge wanted to make the son to feel what he's been through. I think that's the reason why she hide it from KMC that she knew who HH's son is. But she seemed shocked and surprised when KMC rebuked her. She ran off the building and then we see her doing pregnancy test.
What she knew is that good man YH despite he's been through a lot being labeled as the son of psychopath serial killer, YH lived his life bravely even being the youngest surgeon. That's what she believed in YH, she's been through alot too, because she might be the daugther of a murderer...she said that too when she saw YH in the hospital.
She somehow was troubled by KMC's words and that Goat-man bandaid...it shakes her belief all this time that YH isn't like his father. Hit with the death of BY's granny, and the kidnap and then seeing BR's bloody head and severe brain injury, while YH was only hit by a bullet...she's convinced that YH is just a killer like his father....she forgot that YH promised to explain things to her.
She's shocked just like HH's wife was shocked. And she seeing all that and also feeling guilty towards KMC and BR and everyone, because she think she's the only one knew about YH's identity as HH's son. That's why she said all that to unconscious YH in hospital.
She even went so far to abort the baby...because she now believed YH is a serial killer, she didn't even bother to really investigate if YH is a killer, or even wait for YH to explain himself. I think it is pretty sad, because YH at least trust her enough to let her have free access to his own home.
I think that's pretty much what I said and meant in my comment. She knew who YH is but she believed that he's not a killer, that is why she hides that fact from KMC. But now with all the incidents happened in a very short time, she's just losing her trust in YH.
That all from her pov, we don't even know yet if it is true that YH is a serial killer, I just don't believe that being a meticulous serial killer YH would risk himself like that. And the strange thing is why he cried when he was down looking at BR?
If YH is the serial killer, how come he's being so sloppy, like giving his passkey to his home to his gf and his mom, leaving the shoes in garage, forget to take the key of the secret room knowing there's a stranger in the house. Unless he knew or convinced about who BR is and wanted to kill him at all cost. My theory is YH was blackmailed by someone, that's why he has all the pics of the victims there and there's also the genetic test report envelope, he must have been looking for the real serial killer too...or if he's the serial killer (which I doubt it) then he must in the mission of finding the other baby his mom told him about and somehow found out it was BR.
If you remember that narated voice in ep 3...it was narated by a female yet we saw two persons there YH and BR at the hospital hall.
CJH might have the psychopathic gen too...It's my guess....
Lee Seung Gi saying this dramas different because of its infinite apossibilities and mind boggling happenings…
Now you said it I have the same feeling too...when I watch ep 1 the girl murder with CJH in it...it seems like the girl was murdered around or might be before the HH's murder timeline.
In ep 1, there's a woman came to Dr.Lee giving him the hair sample and when he's in his room, he throw the sample on bed and then he was seen looking at a pic on his wallet. 3 persons in there, two man and a woman in the middle. Could it be that the pic was him and HH and his sister? It is unclear until now who that woman is and what's all that about, but HH saw that and he just silent and then went out.
Both of him and HH are doctors..and there's a scene in ep 2 or 3 I forgot, when CJH saw an internet article about Dr.Lee, she seemed like in between of surprised and thinking.
Then in ep 7, we see CJH went to an old place looked like old medical facility. Could it be that the two were involved in the same research about pyschopatic gen and they were experimenting there? And CJH was once a test subject too? And she said strange thing when she looked at YH, like she was disappointed in him (believing him to be HH's son) that he turned out to be a killer. She said that he's beyond salvation now...and even went so far to abort the baby she conceived with YH. She seemed to be on repenting journey herself.
And there's another puzzling thing. BR's mom said to HH's wife when they're in hospital...she said her husband was Dr.Lee's colleague and he help Dr.Lee with experiment back in UK. She volunteered to be tested and she said her husband lied to her about the result and later found out that the test result was indeed her baby is psychopathic. The question is if pyschopathic trait is inherited as per Dr.Lee's theory then from which side the baby get that gen? The woman said her husband was a very good person, he even died because saving a child. (In the cast list the woman is updated as BR's mom...so now it is clear that BR is indeed the son of that woman, not HH's son as guessed by many, well I could be wromg though).
And the story about Dr.Lee's sister...it seemed strange...she was murdered by HH, Dr.Lee seemed enraged upon the revelation but then he went back to UK just like that. He was being deceived for 7 years by HH and even sympathetic with him and even treated him like a brother...he seemed like just let it go with the law with it.
This story revolved around his research on psychopatic genes yet he died just too early too...I don't suspect him as much though because his research very likely backed by the government (the ruling party). The lady in blue house was seen here and there back then and now. So she probably the one to whom Dr.Lee handed over the envelope in ep 1.
So there must be two serial killers back then and now after all these event with YH and BR, the same killer re-appear probably to provoke BR's psychopathic tendency? Because until now Dr.Lee's or his body whereabouts is unknown.
This drama very slow revealings causes too many guesses already...lol.
But imo JBR is not a serial killer, he's psychopathic but not a killer. He could be the one who kill cats but he didn't kill humans, because the killings happened in a very tight time but also staged very meticulously, BR couldn't be doing all that and at the same time doing other things as police officers...YH couldn't be the one also....since he's too sloppy to be a meticulous killer and the last scene when he was shot, he definitely crying while staring at BR before passing out. Well this is one of a mind boggling drama I ever watched. Lol
JBR's 3rd and final surgery is done after Yohan's death. The hospital spokesman was updating the result of his…
Even if it is a fiction, it doesn't mean that they can fabricated every logic too because the story is fictious not the logic....and as I said they tried to make this a real as possibke like it is happening for real...it will be too far for fabricating two fictious logics while the rest is just following the logic the viewers can grasp on.
Pychopathic genetic/DNA itself already a very difficult thing to grasp yet it is within current science possibilities...now to add another science fiction....the story will be too wild scope and viewers will be evem more confused what this story is all about? Is it about serial killer?about psychopatic serial killer?about preventing psychopatic serial killer? Or about brain transpant to a psycopathic person? Or about investigating and finding the serial killer? You can have many tags on a story but the main plot of a story usually being tagged also.
Yes I know, it can be added or omitted but usually you will see science tag since this is related to science as well, and or fantasy....it's just tag it will not affecting the drama in anyway...it's just the way of categorizing.
But well since we don't know for sure, let's see in next episodes...i could be wrong, you could be right....let's see what's BR will turn into....
I just can't believe how easy it is for CHJ to get into evidence room like it is accessible for everyone. I mean even police couldn't get into evidence room freely, how can she could roam around the police station like she works ....
Her character is suspicious too. She definitely the girl who lured the young lady in ep 1 to be killed. And she definitely know about YH's identity and even hide it from KMC when he asked her to find HH's son. One thing is she genuinely believe that YH is HH's son, that why she was shocked and surprised when KMc rebuked her about the abducting case, she literally ran back home to have pregnancy test and then later when she saw YH and BR bloody bodies, it was the last straw, She believed YH is HH'S son, she symphatized with him for being the son of the murderer...could it be because she herself is the daughter of a murderer that she keeps silent about for 20 years and even know? She disappointed to know that YH could do that and without investigating further she went on with abortion, like how can an investigative reporter who has her own investigative program really believe things at face value without investigating further? How can she convinced herself that YH is a serial killer? (YH literally crying when he's down being shot by KMC...he saw JBR in the eyes and tears, could it be that he tried to kill JBR because he convinced that JBR is the real serial killer, or he actually is the real serial killer, or could it be he mistakenly believe so?)
And the scene where CJH went to an old place and inside that place there's medical appliances there and the old cassettes, she took one and send it to that lady in blue house. What's that place? Could it be that her father was also a doctor and conducting secret research there?and she's one of the test subject too?) Because in ep 7, HH'S said he never use or learn or teach anyone about the tie BR shown him. BR also believed that it wasn't him who killed the detective's daughter. So there must be two killers at the time and one is HH (HH didn't use children to lure his victims, he did all the job himself) and one is using a child to lure the victim, and the latter has close connection with CJH.
Now we gave another serial killer on rampage, BR is a psychopath genius, but if he's a cold blooded serial killer we still need to see his back ground more because it's still too blurry with YH's mom keeps misleading us with her glimpses of memory....whether it's young of YH or BR...but that boy definitely JH. And if JH is the real son of HH, he couldn't die just easilly. Why YH keep coming after BR and recklessly attacking him like instead of doing his usual mo if he is the serial killer? He definitely not a serial killer...and he's not even a psychopath....he's more like a sociopath imo...
Still long way to go to know the real evil...hopefully there will be not too many factors added to the already complicated story (like brain transplant maybe?).....
JBR's 3rd and final surgery is done after Yohan's death. The hospital spokesman was updating the result of his…
I think they're trying to make this drama as real as possible, though it is's unheard of about psychopatic DNA or genetic traits being tested in general population, but theoritically it is possible to have such test being done, and it is possible to do genetical research on specific behaviors whether they can be inherited or not. Thus we have this Dr.Lee and his colleagues doing research on that and having his theory being tested in the lab.
But brain transplant is not possible now, so even the drama is trying to do so, the requiremens to do that is a lot and it requires the donor to be alive or his heart at least to keep blood flow in the brain steady, etc. And it requires "legal" agreement, you can't just do that to anyone randomly. Like the donor must have prior agreement to donor his organ and his mother consent also needed. They couldn't just do that, it's violating YH's rights even as a corpse, you can't just do that without his consent. See even with the fetus genetic test bill it's being discussed seriously in the drama and end up with the bill being dropped.
Idk why people keep pushing the idea as if it is just some usual organ transplant surgery, even the usual one is a complex and difficult surgery, now if the writer want to introduce "brain transplant" move then it must change the tag....to scientific, fantasy drama, and it's just become roller coaster of complexes ideas....from psycho-gen tests to brain transplant...it's just....too much of science for our era....
No reason other than its a kdrama!!!! The same way a group of people sat for discussion whether to pass a law…
The drama does not have 'fantasy' tag on it. Brain transplant is scientifically impossible now, but we don't know if it will be possible in the future. But genetic test on fetuses are not impossible for our current technology. And yes it is scientifically possible to do experimental test if a baby have certain genetic traits like psychopathic, smart, etc...it's not practiced now in reality but theoritically it is possible.
Yes he died, Bong Yi killed him. His mom spread his ashes on the sea lamenting about how she will pay her sins....
Idk, we only see the scene where she pulled off his oxygen tube and then pressing his head with pillow. He died of shock. But whether BY really killed him or stop amid her action, we don't know. But for now doctors said YoHan died due to shock of his infections. Maybe in the future Bong Yi will admit to what she did? Let's see it.
one more thing, as synopsis stated, "Justice-seeking rookie police officer, Jung Ba Reum, comes face to face with…
This is not the first drama with the main lead as the villain, there's a drama called trap. The main lead is a cold blooded murderer who murder his own family and even hurt himself badly just to trap everyone into believing him to be a victim of human hunting games. A genius psychopath murderer he is, it's very short drama . So yea it's rare to have ML as a main villain but it's not impossible either.
Just finished watching episode 6. I think Ba Reum is actually Han Seo Jun’s biological son. I think the two…
It's impossible, since the other pregnant lady said the baby is the only one that connect her with her late husband which she loved more than her own life. And both babies test result that both of them psychopatic, while SJE was terrified by it the othet lady was the one who said she will raise her baby well to prove Dr.Lee is wrong. I couldn't imagine that lady would want to switch her only baby of his beloved husband to be switched with the baby of a notorious serial killer's baby.
Ep 5 was so ridiculous, my god. airing a murder on live tv. I mean its a drama but c'mon.I knew Moo chi/Ba reum…
I think the producer of the show who insisted on it to be broadcasted and forced the crew to do so....while KMC didn's see it coming.
And the show about the kid is demanded by the killer or else he will kill the boy, and they initially didn't want to do it, but the boy's mom begged them to do so to safe her son.
That's why writing and execution of the reveal are so important in moments like this. We, the viewers, are highly…
That's the interesting part....
In ep 1. When DS was at that live cafe, that cafe girl who then died next day, was the one who told DS to go out, it was all OK with DS until she compared DS musical skill with his sister, it pissed him off. And then just before leaving DS actually gave a cold stare at her saying "see you later"....as if he will be meeting her again later that night (the girl was waving movie tickets at him...so DS might know who the girl will go to the movie with).
And at JJ's flashback, it seems like she told her not to go but she insisted to go alone...could it be that he confessed his feeling toward DS sister that night and he rejected him and want to go home alone instead?
But that alone couldn't make either one of them a murderer....
As I said, YY sis might have witnessed something that night and she might provoked the murderer.....or could it be jealousy?
If that is jealousy then we might need to add Oh Ji Hwa on the list lol...but yea someone must be hating on her so much to brutally murder her like that and the crazy thing is that JM even violated/abusing her dead body like that...really beyond evil....
Since we still have 6 episodes to go on with a very slow revealing....now we must content with everyone who knew YY is a suspect....and I hope JW will find out who the murderer is alongside DS...they are just perfect match for each other....
That's why writing and execution of the reveal are so important in moments like this. We, the viewers, are highly…
Yea I don't think he killed DS sis as well because in that flashback he's the last person to see YY alive and he seemed to genuinely regret that he's not stopping her that night. I think his flashback is from YY's way back home. YY went there to that hideout (which now revealed to be a deer farm where the bodies are found burried) after getting the text from DS. I think that night YY arrived there but DS wasn't there yet (because there's no DS there only JJ) but in other flashback, when JJ, DS and JH were talking about JM, JJ has flashback that night when DS sis went missing JJ were with DS but again we only see JJ was sitting and talking with someone not shown there.
JJ must have spent a great amount of time there in that deer farm either with DS or alone...and Imo he might started to have seen and heard things because he saw and heard things there...he might witnessing or hearing the killing of the women but because it's so traumatic or he was told (by his mom?) That things he saw was deer....that is why he keeps drawing deer but saying he hears women voices...and then DS sister went missing that night...be either seen or heard something too that night and that's kind of final blow to his sanity. He was severely depressed after that and his mom had to sent him to mental hospital. And his mom sold that farm right after that to the chairman....
Remember JM also work there for JJ's mom before...so JM might be witnessing the murder and bought the body back home, and being a psychopath himself he hid her body and severed her fingertips...because YY in his twisted mind behave like those prostitutes (being out late at night, having her nails done red). YY herself might be witness to another murder (the cafr girl) it is either done by JM or someone else we don't know yet because she heard creacking sound in the reeds and walked fast. Next morning cafe girl body was found and YY went missing leaving only her fingertips.
JJ's mom and JW's dad are my sus....but well the twists might surprise us in the end....
May someone please tell me...what is the purpose of all Lee dong shik's actions and attitudes towards Han Joo…
Dong Shik once was a detective with RIU, he used to be someone who strictly following the procedures but something happened there, his partner died on duty. Because of that he was demoted to Manyang, it was explained later on, so keep on going.
So the thing is, LDS is still searching his sister body and killer even after 20 years have gone by. He's been using legal means/procedures to follow every lead to no avail, his sis body still not found and so is the killer. But Manyang being a small town and the fact that his sister case was being closed quickly as missing person and unsolved murder case of the cafe girl, and he was once arrested as prime suspect...all happened when Joo Won father was the chief at Manyang/Munju station. And the current chief of Manyang substation is the one who arrested and using force to obtain his statment. Using the usual approach didn't succeed, so he created his own method to catch the criminal. If you remember he said to the chief, to catch a monster you need to be one.
Being a detective and knowing the common trait of serial killer who is exhibitionists (his sister killer is one, because of the display of her fingertips is like a challenge game, though later there's twist on DS sis case), Dong Shik is like fishing the suspects out of the small pool of Manyang. And his method is that to piss off the killer by seemingly taking credit of the crimes he didn't commit. He's suspicious of everyone but at the same time he's also wanted to protect them from the real killer. That is why he's pulling all the attention to himself, in this he's being very careful behind his eratic behavior.
And why he's behaving like that toward Joo Won is that because Joo Won is an outsider, and he being the son of the future chief superintendant coming to a small substation is already ringing an alarm for DS, they don't easily trusting people. And the fact that it was JW's dad that closing the case of his sister adding to DS unwelcome behaviour towards JW. DS is experienced detective and now JW suddenly appear and behaving all high and rigtheous poking DS interest as to why he's being there. And JW has been very open to DS that he suspected him to be a serial killer die to his past record. DS couldn't let JW to be stumbling block in his own investigation, because that's exactly what JW did with all his suspicion against DS. At first DS might be annoyed by his presence but then JW's behaviour sometimes amuse DS and he's using it for his own advantage, like using JW to even make himself even more suspicious. Why all the effort? Well you need to watch it yourself....it's a very interesting drama and I must say a touching one....

Lol
And the show about the kid is demanded by the killer or else he will kill the boy, and they initially didn't want to do it, but the boy's mom begged them to do so to safe her son.
