I see. Glad that you made TLB an exception. And it deserves it, as it is such a complex drama. YAMG is such a 'simple' drama, plot-wise. I left that page long ago, but still hang around here, see if any newcomer needs help.

I know you prefer historical dramas to modern ones, so, yes, I fully expect you to be there. We will have to wait. I think all those CGI stuff will take a while to finish. We should be able to see no later than Jan-Feb 2022.

Lots of CGI will be needed. That is for sure. And it has to be good, to make the merman realistic.

I am sure you know that I am still around on this page. We lost quite a few of the regulars, but there are lots of newcomers to this page. Do not forget to go over to the page of The Blue Whisper, when it airs early next year.

I think it is because of the many kissing scenes and some of the bed scenes in YAMG. The Gesun CP's chemistry was somewhat hampered by the no-kiss clause in Leo Wu's contract when this drama was filmed. Nevertheless, so many of us were charmed by their eye gazes, their hugs, those forehead kisses and their many sweet one-on-one conversations which showed their true love for each other.

Li Changge's character was very well adapted from the manhua to the drama. She makes some mistakes, many more than in the manhua. But those mistakes made her more human. And given her young age, many of those mistakes were understandable. But she is a very fast learner. Over the period of 2-3 years, she learned enough to come up with plans to thwart the main villain time and again.

Well, some international fans still yet to hear about this drama. Once they drop by and see the number of comments here, they will start watching. And once they do that, they will know just how good this drama is and will drop by to comment.

I think it will still be reasonably active even a year from now. I dare say, even 5 years from now.

You are my hero is a very good drama. The plot is very good, so they do not need high traffic stars like Dilraba and Yang Yang. Both Sandra Ma and Bai Jing Ting acted very well. I also watched Oh My General, and she did very well in that drama.

Dilraba aced her role as QJJ in YAMG. There is rumour that her next modern drama will be Ball Lightning, but nothing is confirmed.

I got bored a few weeks ago, so I went to watch The Story of Yanxi Palace, which turned out rather good. Overal story line very similar to Dong Yi, the historical Kdrama which wowed much of Asia back in 2010.

Yes, I did like Ten Miles of Peach Blossom. And followed Dibraba to Eternal Love of Dream, since her character in TMOPB did not have a happy ending. ELOD did not disappoint. I did catch an episode of Legend of Fuyao. But Yang Mi's fierce look in Legend of Fuyao is so similar to her fierce look in TMOPB I almost felt that I was watching Bai Qian again, so I dropped it after one episode. Will wait for Yang Mi's next xianxia Novoland, the Pearl Eclipse. Heard it will be out soon.

I prefer historical dramas to xianxia dramas. When the story in a drama is anchored to some parts of real Chinese history, it makes the plot more meaningful. Which is why I loved TLB so much.

But I am really looking forward to The Blue Whisper next year. Although it is a xianxia drama, it moved away from the 3W3L formula. And Dilraba is playing an interesting role. Should be fun to watch.

There is also the Legend of Anle, which is an historical. For all of us who love to watch Dilraba in historical dramas, next year will be a great year.

Her next project will be a modern drama. Besides Legend of Anle, she has another historical drama slated to be aired next year, prior to Legend of Anle (The Blue Whisper). So, that will be two historical one after another. Hence, she will not want to do another historical, as that would mean three in a row, which is rather unhealthy career wise. Yet to be confirmed, but her project after Legend of Anle is likely to be Ball Lightning, which is indeed a modern drama.

I know about the splitting into two, to abide by new restrictions on episode count. Just a bit surprised that they can finish filming all 60 episodes in just 4 months. That is really fast! They filmed it from 18 Feb to 6 June 2021, just slightly less than 4 months.

Is that so? Did you watch Eternal Love (Ten Miles of Peach Blossom)? She was there too, but only in a supporting role. Yet, she and Vengo Gao did so well, many fans clammored for a sequel, and hence we got Eternal Love of Dream.

She has a recent modern drama, You are my Glory, which also became a very big hit.

Next year, we will see her in two historical dramas: The Blue Whisper and Legend of Anle. Both these dramas will likely be big hits.

We lost quite a few people, while migrating from here to YAMG. I wondered what happened to them. They were very active here and I felt sure we will see them in YAMG. Sadly, they just disappeared after that.

When TBW is aired, we will need to send reminders to everyone here, to migrate to that page. Even if we cannot repeat what happened here, we should still be able to get some very interesting discussion on that page.

This is very likely Dilraba's best performance in an historical drama. She has been nominated for best actress award at the Seoul International Drama awards. The drama itself is also up for best drama award at the same competition. Guest those nominations tell you just how good they both are? The drama itself, and her performance in it.

At E10 or E11, the plot starts to get really interesting. See if you can get yourself un-stuck.
