Shunde wants to dissipate herself, so that the evil spirit will be spread all over the world and affect everyone. Not sure if this meant everyone will die, but they might become evil.
Before that can happend, Ji Yunhe was able to contain and seal the evil spirit within herself. More or less, she sacrificed herself. Shunde is now embedded in her body. She asked Changyi to seal her in that lava lake, so that Sunde will not be able to escape. She said, once the evil spirit within her is gone, she will find a way back. To make her keep her promised, Changyi gave her the pearl one more time.
Many years later, we are not told how long. The two of them sat by the cliff looking out to the sea. It meant, Ji Yunhe managed to find her way out of that lava lake and kept her promise to come back to Changyi.
They had a happy ending. Somehow Ji Yunhe became a mermaid. They challenged each other to see who can swim faster.

Is this why she is trying to downgrade Dilraba's performance in TBW (and other drama too)? Reba outshines all whom she likes? So now, she is just trying to tilt the balance in favour of actors/actresses that she favours? If so, it is so so sad.

Having that beautiful face is about the only thing that contributed to her success without any effort. She need not resort to plastic surgeries to get those beautiful facical features.
Apart from being born with a beautiful face, the rest of her physique is absolutely stunning. Which is why she could wear that beautiful wedding dress in YAMG in that famous scene that crashed Tencent's viewing platforms last summer, because millions around the world wanted to watch their marriage. And Tencents viewing platform just could not handle the bandwidth. Here in TBW, we see how beautiful she looks in that red wedding dress, even though she is well covered up and cannot reveal the rest of her physical assets.
Everything else is pure hard work.
Directors love to work with her because of her work ethic. While other big name star use body double to do all those stunts, she did everything herself. Some of the stunts require jerking motion back and forth. If she is not careful, those wires can give her whiplash.
When she developed a fever while filming TBW, all she did was to put on an anti fever strip and carry on filming. And we all know how much weight she needed to take off, in order to look sickly for some of the episodes.
Her fellow cast members love to work with her, because, as what HYX said, she is so unassuming, for a big star. She does not walk around with a big chip on her shoulders. The only creatures she cannot get along with are those mosquitoes and other insects that get within range of her, while filming.
She is a darling in brand endorsements because of the postive image created by her acting abilities, her beautiful features, and her scandal-free private life. And, of course, because she speaks perfect standard Mandarin which is understood by the bulk of Chinese in China and elsewhere around the world.

She is just a complete package, and that can make many people very uncomfortable. Envy got the better of them, causing many to say all those nasty things about her.
She is used to all that by now. It comes with the territory, and she just cannot please everyone, no matter how hard she tries. So do we. As long as all those nasty people leave us alone to watch and comment on our wonderful Dilraba dramas, here on MDL, we can leave them alone to make whatever statements they wish about Reba.
This particular nasty individual will not be the first; nor will she be the last to say Reba cannot act. We know that all the facts say otherwise.
