Yes, I would agree that her agency no longer view it as healthy that she keeps working with the same individuals. Top female actresses usually 'roam' around and act with male leads that are not from their own agencies nor even the same people that they have had a successful drama.

It will take an extremely good script, and tremendous amount of financial incentives for Reba to act with YY again. Consider it our good fortune, we got to see them here in YAMG, giving us a display what it means to have good on-screen chemistry.

You must do that, when you have questions. Do not be shy. And there are many people here who have watched this drama multiple times. Who understand this drama inside out, and who will be more than willing to explain things to you, should you ever need it.

Not going to happen to Reba. No matter how much fans ship her and YY, it is not going to happen. She will want to work with different male leads and on dramas with good scripts. Looking at her latest two projects, all of her historicals will be female leads that are strong, smart and fairly independent.

It is? It is likely to jump up and down. Right now. the most critical stats is the viewership count. The count from now till Sunday will show the staying power of YAMG. If it averages around 200M views a day, from now till Sunday, good news. If not, not so good news.

You can surely hope, but I think you already know the answer. The chances of them acting together is very very slim. They are both big stars with lots of projects all lined up. Some of these yet to be announced, as they could still be at the negotiation stage.

I do not know about YY, but Reba has expressed desire to work with different male leads, so that she can expand her acting abilities. In the past, she used to work mainly with people from her own studio (Jaywalk). But, starting from last year (TLB project, which was filmed last year), her male leads are no longer from Jaywalk. There are still many good male leads that she would like to work with, see what kind of learning experience those might bring.

YY may well be having the same thoughts.

I can do 3-4, provided they are not heavy. And most historical Cdramas are not as 'heavy' compared to TLB.

YAMG has a simple plot. I watch for good execution of the plot, as it does not require all that much mental power to understand the storyline. The two historicals that I am watching now also has a relatively simple plot. I watch just to enjoy the acting and beautiful costumes in one, and sword fighting in the other. When these two are done, by end August, I think a new historical will be out. That will take me to close the end of the year, where a few historical blockbusters will be out. And then comes Reba's next historical, early next year.

If it can hit 7, it means all the anti fans have been defeated and likely have run of resources to mount any more attack. Rating will likely go even higher, if next week's episodes are as well received as those aired this week.

I do not believe in any of those dating rumours. But this kind of stuff, totally possible, given how well those steamy scenes have been received. May have given inspiration to real couples in China, how to do their kisses.

Well, you know. Previous episodes, we had competition from the Olympics. And previous episodes are just not as exciting as the latest few. The last few episodes of this drama, coming up next week, seem happy and exciting as well. So, should hit 4B. And when it does, Tencent will surely consider this somewhat of a big success. By end 2021, YAMG should rank at least among Top Ten Chinese drama for 2021. May even be Top 5, if other newly released dramas do not perform quite as well as.

Ah, I did not read Birdlady's comments carefully. Yes, the TLB did go up, after it completed it run. I think it went from slightly below 3B to hit 3.28B views. May still go up over the months ahead

But usually viewership will taper off, once a drama ends its run. Will not be as high as while the drama is airing.

So, the fact that TLB continues to rise is good new for that drama.

That is about an increase of 260m views per day. So, yes, if this pace can be sustained, can hit 3B by Sunday, Beijing time. Or, at least very very close to it. Meaning, the chances of reaching 4B before The Oath of Love is aired is a very realistic target.

That is for sure. That is why there are so many Cdramas around. Market is big, so everyone can pick their preferred genre.

Currently watching two historicals, while concurrently watching YAMG. And there could be more historicals coming out soon. Killing time will not be difficult at all.

Also, there is no fan war between their fan bases. I suspect, for TLB, there was.

6.9 on Douban is pretty good actually! That means all those haters have been pushed back.
