Ok seriously keep rewatching the rescue scene of 48 and I've seen Mimi die like 3 times and each time it's made…
This particular director, you may not believe this, in another drama, he even killed off the main female lead! I was very relieved CG was still alive in the end.
I love this drama. The only thing I would change is the scene where A’Sun saves Changge from the burning building.…
I know some have commented she is too smart or too strong not to escape on her own. If they had more time, they could have shown, perhaps Changge trying to save Khatun from the fire, and she was knocked out by a falling beam or something and Ahsun dashed in just in time to save her? Something along those lines would have made the fire more believable.
Fill it with re-watch. Till you become immuned to the many emotional scenes, and the next TLB comes along. Not…
It works for me. If a scene is very sad, 1st 2-3 times, I may cry. By the fourth viewing, no more tears, no matter how good the background music is, or how good the actors are in crying.
Same thing with anger. First few viewings, I may scream, yes, kill him or kill her. By the fourth viewing, I will just tell myself, ok, let's move to the next scene.
But, this might not work for all viewers. Some individuals still cry at a particular scene, no matter how many times they watched it
You don't have to leave. Ppl are still hanging around after they watched it.
Yup. Two years and still kicking. Still people asking the same question. Should I watch The Untamed? I watched it two years ago. I have completely forgotten the plot. Honestly. Maybe because I only watched it once. Guess I am not a big fan of bromance dramas.
But two years from now, I think I will still remember many scenes from TLB. Too many iconic scenes now firmly etched in my mind.
Do hover a bit longer. You are all over CDramaland. Your vast knowledge will surely help many to understand and appreciate TLB better.
I think that haoyan was added so that there would be a more romantic and hmm intimate line, than the main one,…
Using two couples, instead of one, seems like a simple but sure-win formula. Not sure if the Kdrama people started it, but it is all over in dramaland.
Besides, 49 episodes of Li Changge and Ashile Shun might just be an over-kill. The HaoYan couple fits rather nicely. And it was seamlessly written into the story, making the drama slightly superior to the manhua (this last phrase, just an opinion. No desire to offend the manhua lovers).
Possible, if they have a good script. Ashael Kim already provided so many good ideas! If TLB hit 5 billion views, anything is possible. Or TLB wins many drama awards next year
No mess. Some viewers were displeased with the animation used when Ashun saved Changge from the burning building.…
And I agree with you. All the actors held up their role perfectly. Not just the two couples. Even all the animals did a great job! Especially the falcon in the final frame. "Changge, just go where you need to go. I will keep an eye on you."
You know the drama was good when you end up sympathizing with every single character. All the actors held up their…
No mess. Some viewers were displeased with the animation used when Ashun saved Changge from the burning building. They found the CGI of inferior quality or the animation a bit comical. Also, some wanted Ashun and CG to be together, in the same frame, in the final shot.
Like you, and and many others in this forum, I found the ending perfect. That rescue scene was merely a few seconds. If Li Chang Ge can forgive his uncle for killing his father, we can easily forgive the production team for that shot, if we find somewhat jarring.
As to why Ashun and CG were not together in the final frame, many commentators have explained. CG is no ordinary girl. She is always full of energy, bouncing around, looking for things to do. She is no ordinary housewife bound to her husband 24/7; and Ashun did promise her mum, he will give her the necessary. And my personal view, this drama was about her. First scene, first episode, started with her; final scene, final episode ended with her (and the camera rolled to the manhua). Very appropriate, since she is the main protagnist
Yet, we all know. Ashun was there with her in the grassland. They were together. No doubt about that. That scene of them on the tree trunk in the forest, they declared they will always be together. Marriage was only a red tape, a formality they could both do without since both their parents were dead.
It also showcase the uniquness of their relationship as a couple, one is based on mutual trust and respect. Leyan and Hao Do did have a simple ceremony. They had none, and they needed none. In the grassland, void of friends and loved ones, a formal marriage would be rather meaningless.
He had made the marriage proposal before her mother's memorial tablet. She accepted it before her mother's tablet. Discerning viewers would and should know, this is not an open ending, just because the final scene does not show them hugging and kissing each other
exactly. I love that no character (other than Khatun) takes the annoying, cliché ways we are used to seeing in…
Well said by both lovedramas0309 and biri biri. No one is really born evil. Just the way we react to critical events in our lives, that turned us either to the dark side, or made us better humans. Changge grew and matured and became a useful person, while Khatun sank deeper and deeper into the quicksand of hatred and bitterness. No one 'forced' those choices on them. Not even the events. It was a path they chose, out of their own free will.
I know it’s been mentioned before..but that burning building scene is just too funny! How did it even make the…
It is somewhat funny, even if they never intended it that way. Good thing it lasted only a few seconds. Someone commented, anything longer than that, this drama will turn into a comedy
I’ll try to find the 50 Shades of GeSun video! In the mean time enjoy this other version. https://www.instagram.com/tv/COlzPsagWAR/?igshid=tav1h9lzpnjv
The music is indeed sultry. But don't miss out the micro gesture, when CG tapped her little finger on Ahsun's hand, as if to say, "Thanks so much, my dear."
Is there a lot of heartbreaking things happening there???.. what's going on?? X(
Yes, saying goodbye in the most heartbreaking way. one can imagine. Falling Sand is perhaps the saddest OST in TLB. The production team milk it to perfection, using it as the background music for all the sad scenes
I was just thinking that also. By the different personalities and choices, both Leyan and Changge became different…
So true. On the surface, TLB is great entertainment. But at a deeper level, the director of TLB wanted to do more than merely entertaining us. He conveyed so many great life lessons through TLB. Some are quite obvious. Others are like deep hidden wonders

Unblurring that left side, I think, would just show a prolonged hug and nothing more
