to see that vile but very funny envoy Zhang with the most pathetic excuse of a moustache disintegrate like that...Story…
But isn't that envoy guy dead? I think he got killed by Changyi, in one of the recent episodes. Wow! Shunde must be totally bad, if she is worse than Thanos.
🤣🤣🤣🤣Does anyone have this urge to pull out the whiskers of that super irritating and annoying Envoy…
He is almost like a comic relief to me. Right from E1. Makes a lot of noise, but quite harmless. But, he may rub different people differently. If you want to pull out his whiskers, you must have felt really irritated by him.
We keep a lookout. All of us. In Twitter, Weibo or any other sources. The moment someone hears some official news about Part 2, or when they will release the subs for part 1, that someone quicly post it here, so everyone here will know when those will happen.
Great! I think they are preparing us for Part 2 of the drama.
I think it will happen. They have lots of 'promotional weapons'. They have used some (like those Dilraba interviews). And they are just keeping some for Part 2. If they use up all too quickly, they will not have enough promotional material for Part 2.

I do suspect her death will be extremely terrible. And she will be completey destroyed. Her 'core' or whatever that will enable someone to revive her, will be completely destroyed. And that will be the end.
But, we never know. If the author writes Season 2 of TBW, she might think of a way to bring Shunde back to life. Kind of like the Marvel Avenger series, how they brought Thanos back to life, after he was already 'killed' in Infinity War.

I see. So, that is how the way it is written in the novel? It is the core? As long as the core is intact, they can be brought back to life? So, character like Li Shu, his core remained intact, when he died the first time, and was brought back to life?

So far, two somewhat important characters died and have yet to come back to life: Lin Canglan and Qin Shu.
I think those who popped back to life, the novel author has further purposes for them. So, if it convenient for her story telling, the author will think of a way to bring them back to life. Like Li Shu, for instance. Those characters that she has no use for, once they are dead, they are dead. No more rising from the dead.
I have a question. In drama, when they die, they just dissolve n disappear into the air. So how is CY going to…
This is a very very interesting question. I wonder if having the fox spirit in her, and all those poison, plus whatever skills she has picked up while in prison, how will that affect her death or portrayal of her death? That short clip in twitter merely show her dying in Changyi's arm, but does not show us what happened to her body after that.
That is the fun part about watching this drama. Just so full of suprises!

Yes, I do see quite a few dead characters popping back to life. It seems that is the nature of this particular universe. Death is never quite final, until no one can revive you.
But then, it has happened before, in other Xianxia dramas? In ELOD, Dilraba's character fell into deep coma, but she eventually woke up. Still, that is different. She was merely in a coma. Here, people were zapped, vanished. Yet, they could be brought back to life. Interesting. I think we just need to get used to it.
May be only a few of you fans would believe that I have actually been able to resist the temptation to watch this…
This is a rather short gap. They merely split it into 2 parts, to get around new regulations regardling episode limits. For other dramas, those that have Season 1 and 2, the wait can be really long.
Like Joy of Life. Season 1 completed in 2019. It is only now that they have started filming Season 2, which may air only in 2023. That is a gap of 4 long years. For TBW, the gap will be just around 2 weeks or so, which is relatively short. So, our pain is comparatively light.
These sentiments are echoed by many many international fans.. Youku hardly did any promo for this drama.. It is…
The broadcasting rights for TBW have been split into 2: Youku will do it in China, and Croton Media (one of the co-producers of this drama) will do it for the international markets.
So far, because we are not sure when the international viewers will get to it see, not much promotion has been done by Croton Media. But, for the China market, Youku has done some promotion. If we go to Weibo, Youku's page, we can see them placing a lot advertisements in China, all over the pace. In subway stations, in shopping malls, etc. They have released lots of new character posters, interviews by Reba, etc. I suppose these can also be considered promotion???
Perhaps, when we start to see some new promotional activities by Croton Media, it is indication that the Eng subs will be ready?
The Fox Princess after discussing with the three boys, handed over a bottle of medicine to Chang Yi. An act expressing…
This was a very enjoyable read. Very insightful descriptions of what could be happening in these characters' minds, and yes, lots of us are waiting for the interesting interactions between Kong Ming and Luoluo. There should be lots of fireworks between those two.

You will see lots of promotional materials related to TBW.
