Jinyoung recently gave a us beautiful performance in Channel A’s THE WITCH. I am not sure yet if I will be following him on with this drama. I will wait to see about US availability.

Fingers crossed this SBS drama will be licensed to Viki US.

I will be there if iQIYI makes A LIFE FOR A LIFE available subbed in English.

As a US viewer my hope is to first see KBS’s PUMP UP THE HEALTHY LOVE on Kocowa’s “Coming Soon” list and then on Viki US’s “Coming Soon” list. I will admit however that I am starting to feel some availability angst.

Through episode 16. Decent crime drama but imo nnot in the league with IQIYI’s recent 2024 crime dramas LOST IN THE SHADOWS and WE ARE CRIMINAL POLICE.

Can someone clarify a casting question I have about KBS’s CATCH YOUR LUCK aka GOOD LUCK on Viki US?
The Kim Min Seok in the MDL cast ⬆️ (tvN’s LOVELY RUNNER) is not the Kim Min Seok (Netflix’s MR. PLANKTON) listed in the Viki US cast. Which KMS will appear in CATCH YOUR LUCK?

Through episode 6 I am really enjoying iQIYI’s WATCH YOUR BACK. The cast is wonderful. I thought the actress playing Captain Hua (Guo Ke Yu) looked familiar and then it hit me. Guo Ke Yu played the mom in last years excellent crime drama from iQIYI LOST IN THE SHADOWS. Talk about two different roles.

I will definitely be keeping an eye out for this drama. Since this a Youku-TVB collaboration can I assume the story will take place in Hong Kong? Cantonese option please?
Last year I enjoyed Tencent’s Hong Kong based drama SEE HER AGAIN.

Through episode one. I will continue. Too early but I wonder if we are getting set up for a THE FIRST SHOT (2024) Johnny Huang/Wang Zi Qi type bromance with our MLs Dean Liu and Luo Ming Jie? In both dramas the police specialist relocates to the place of our story and moves in with the Chief detective.

Now that MBC/Kocowa did the right thing and made UNDERCOVER HIGH SCHOOL available to Viki US, UNDERCOVER is now on my ‘planning to watch’ list.

Also Netflix US.

I will keep an eye out for this addition to iQIYI’s ‘Light On Series’.
