It is annoying as a US viewer with a Youku VIP subscription account to not have access to UNDER THE MOONLIGHT. The message I get: on my laptop: “This video has been blocked, please choose another video to watch.”

As a US Youku paid subscriber (who chooses not to patronize the dark side) it is annoying not to have access to this drama subbed legally.

FYI. Guo Jing Fei’s Tencent drama SMALL POLICE STATION doesn’t appear to be available subbed in English. I checked the Tencent Video app today on my IPad and SPS doesn’t even appear. There is a ten episode playlist available on Tencent’s Youtube Channel but contrary to the header those episodes are not English subbed.
HOWEVER,
Guo Jing Fei’s iQIYI Light On Series crime drama DRIFTING AWAY (14 eps) which started airing yesterday Jan. 17 is available subbed in English at iQIYI.

Thanks. Just as an aside. As a US viewer I would definitely subscribe to Viu if it was available to me.

US viewer here with Tencent Video subscription. As of 10:30 am EST an english subbed SMALL POLICE STATION is not available on the Tencent Video app.

As of today Viki US has PG-13 boxed on the Coming Soon page.

I finished WE ARE CRIMINAL POLICE tonight. 5 stars! A great cast but Yu He Wei was outstanding. This is the best police cdrama I have watched since iQIYI’s ORDINARY GREATNESS (2022). Yes they are different types of dramas but ultimately both were terrific showing the day to day life of police officers in the case of OG it was beat cops and in WACP it was criminal investigating detectives.

Thanks for the reminder of iQIYI’s THE LONELY WARRIOR (24 eps.). It aired in December 2023 and I watched it late 2023 into 2024. It was excellent. I also watched INTERLACED SCENES in July and enjoyed it. I would like to get to LOST IN THE SHADOWS.

I am glad to see iQIYI has a crime drama hit on its hands because I think Youku had a great year and really challenged iQIYI’s Light On crime dramas with its White Night Theater crime dramas. The three I have watched were all excellent: ESCAPE FROM THE TRILATERAL SLOPES., THE FIRST SHOT and REGENERATION.
WE ARE CRIMINAL POLICE is not (I believe) a Light On drama and I am only through episode 5 but I love it.
