idc what anyone says this drama took me completely by surprise in how much i love it. it's FUN, I laughed out loud at parts, I found myself smiling, the female lead is a riot and the ML is funny as hell too. They are both flawed individuals and that's okay! Makes them interesting
hii, so perfect marriage revenge and marry my husband have many similarities like time travel and being betrayed…
meh I totally disagree with that commenter abt chemistry. the chemistry in PMR was good yeah, but the one here is also great. Their relationship in MMH has more substance to it and it's a relatively slow burn, so it starts subtle at first, and there's even a hint of solemnity to it, but it's delicious in its own way.
You dropped mmh at episode 10? Lol.Y’all expected her to dish it out to them immediately she woke up, did y’all…
literally like this drama is also about healing and a survivor's journey to finding happiness again, there is character growth, it's not just BAM revenge. I like it better that way.
I saw this on tumblr and it made my pride and prejudice heart happy:
Yu “I like you, but I won't do anything if you don't want me to or put you in a fix. You just need to say no” Ji-hyuk 🤝🏼 Fitzwilliam “my affections and wishes have not changed, but one word from you will silence me on this subject forever” Darcy
Only in the time travel department. Other than that at least IMO, PMR had consistent characters who were likeable…
she literally cannot break up with the bf bc 1) she needed to set things up so that sumin could steal her fate and 2) she literally TRIED TO break up with him a day after she came back and he became so abusive that she ended up at a police station. Abuse victims take an average of 7 attempts to leave even in real life. It's very realistic imo

Lukewarm read imo. I like the FL in MMH better because she feels more like a true, fleshed out character. To me, this is less of a revenge drama and more of the story of a survivor. Ji Won is a survivor in more ways than one. She went through abuse for more than a decade, at the hands of people closest to her, gaslit and manipulated. It makes sense that it takes time for her to grow, that she breaks down, that she has moments of weakness. I actually love that despite it all she still had a small ray of hope inside of her that they would still change, and when Sumin gives her the red shoes, she knows they never will.
She feels real because of that, and her acting has been great to show her slow, but distinct development. The story isn't about her outsmarting everyone around her, but regaining her will to do more than survive: to live and be happy.
The fact that our protagonist knows that her (future) husband has abusive tendencies and still insists on setting…
her best friend is also abusive and would happily drag her to death herself. two toxic crazy people deserve each other. sumin is also an emotional abuser, as we've seen with the flashbacks and how she's manipulated jiwon like crazy. she's even scarier than min hwan honestly
I know they are always supposed to be goodhearted kind generous forgiving people....but why is no one ever calling…
I think if u mean sumin drowning herself, she really couldnt swim and jiwon knew that. and sumin knew jiwon knew that. so it wasnt an act, it was her literally risking her life just so she could get one up over her like a psycho
yea ik lol and i usually despise reading harems but this author had to go and make duo duo and fan xian kindred soulmates, meanwhile his other wives are just....there. like how am i not supposed to root for them?
iirc he and dd never officially get married, she is a free spirit, but its established that shes pretty much his soulmate
