Wow, I haven’t heard of that one. Is it good? Where can we watch it?
I just checked You Tube, unfortunately there’s no English subtitle. Lol, I can only understand a handful of Chinese words and phrases but couldn’t watch Cdramas without English subtitles.

They started with an arranged, political marriage as royals from two different kingdoms so they were not really…
To be honest, I can’t remember that dialogue, but considering they were a true married couple who were pretty much in love with each other from episode 18 until the end, I probably didn’t hold that conversation as anything that added significant value to the plot if ever the FL did say it.

Twilight, I guess. It's a very, very heavy watch full of mental struggle and even physical abuse. They get officially…
It’s a special mention possibly. Thanks for the info, I was trying to decide which one to watch first between Twilight and Snow Eagle Lord but ended up watching Confess Your Love, which was a short drama. It was pretty nice.

How's the drama itself? I've lots of negative posts about it on reddit lately haha. Also, if you remember, when…
It was just okay, I felt the lack of chemistry from episode 1 and after watching the really great chemistry of the main couple in Hidden Love, this one is indeed a bit underwhelming, even after they got back together. But I’m still in episode 30 so I can’t say anything about the last episodes, maybe they stepped it up?

Yes, I agree with StreamX. The early episodes had a lot of frustrating moments. They only got back together in episode 25. I got to admit I skipped a lot of scenes. I’m just in episode 30 right now. For second chance romance, I think I still prefer The Road Home over Fireworks of my Heart but that’s just my own personal preference. 😊

Yes, he did go overboard crazy in the end that he could only die to compensate the audience lol.

Oh, and it was worse in Maid’s Revenge. The main couple’s chemistry could not make up for the fact that the FL really got raped by the SML and the ML died in the end. I really got blindsided by that one smh.

Nah, she did not cheat. Episode 29 around 26:00 or 27:00. If I recall, she tried to trick the SML because she was trying to protect the ML. Oops found it. Episode 27, 31:33…SML tried to kiss the FL but she pushed him and slapped him hard, and nothing happened between them. The ML was the FL’s first and only. The ML’s friends almost died laughing when the morning after they consummated and he was being teased about it, the ML ask if there’s some medicine she can put on her “injury down there”, effectively confirming that the FL was a virgin and it was just a platonic relationship with the SML even if he was her first love interest. The SML asked for forgiveness and died in a self-sacrificing move to save the main couple. So he really had a pitiful fate come to think about it. Lol, that’s why I did not hate the SML so much….he went crazy from losing the FL whom he loved so much until his last breath.

Hahaha, there’s a lot of silly tropes but I just tend to selectively suspend my critical thinking when watching them sometimes and just go with the flow. By the way, in episode 25, don’t be disheartened that the ML was forced to marry another wife. It was part of a plan to avoid more schemings against them and the other “wife” was cooperative and only want help to escape threats and be with her own lover, so she was gone by episode 26. Both ML and FL were becoming good at hoodwinking their enemies and putting on an act while secretly united the whole time lol. And their chemistry is stronger from episode 18 and moving forward until the end. Not sure what episode it was, but I recall one funny scene where the eavesdropping maid thought the crashing sounds and angry exchange between the main couple in their room meant they were fighting and can hardly wait to report back to the SFL. Turned out the two were busy making out inside while putting on an act to deceive the maid.

Hi, r0204_me, I’m back again. 😊 In episode 13 you’ll probably be annoyed at the SML with his aggressive, bold in-your face attitude. But if you think from his point of view, him and the FL and have never broken up before she married the ML. And he was just discovering that the FL’s family really erased her feelings for him and tampered with her memories through hypnosis while he was sent away to war so that she does not recall their past relationship. He was devastated and to be fair, even the ML would feel the same if it happened to him. It was probably similar to being cheated, to have someone else steal your girlfriend or wife with her family as accomplices. In episode 14, the SML confronted the FL’s brother and it was just a normal and logical reaction for the SML to of course try to find ways to undo the hypnosis and tell her the truth about it because in his mind, he was fighting for their love. And it’s normal for the FL to feel confused and want to find out the truth. Maybe that’s why the SML did not back down which was like crossing the lines in not recognizing the marriage of the ML and FL. Because probably to him, it was a marriage done with deceit, although caused by the FL’s family, if not the ML. But if you can bear with it, from episode 18, the main couple started having more romantic and passionate moments together. The main couple opened up about their feelings for each other and became a real married couple from here on. ML has a habit of sleepwalking and does funny things when he does it, so I didn’t want to skip those scenes. During these times, the ML was also dealing with his growing feelings for the FL that’s why you would see some misunderstandings, sadness, jealousy, insecurity in the ML. But on top of those emotions was his concern for her wellbeing and in episode 15 he also confronted the FL’s brother and wished to have the hypnosis removed for the FL’s sake. You could probably skip episodes 16 and 17 as the misunderstandings sort of dragged around those 2 episodes and just start again from episode 18. After that, no matter what challenges they have, the main couple were united, and even if the FL had one brief moment of noble idiocy, it was resolved very quickly, like almost immediately. Afterwards, the rest of the challenges they faced never made them waver or even think of parting ways with each other.

Don’t skip episode 11 yet, or you’ll miss some interesting scenes there. I just feel kind of sorry here for the SFL, ML scolded her, warned her from going anywhere near the FL, and turned her away. He dislikes the SFL obviously and was frank about telling her that he has never liked her at all. Episode 12 is not so bad either and has some funny scenes. Plus you might miss some romantic scenes from the couple. The romance and chemistry between the main leads does not disappoint. Lol, I will be back with the rest of the spoilers later.

I thought that "The Love by Hypnotic" had a break up? I know it has a super annoying love triangle, but I do not…
They started with an arranged, political marriage as royals from two different kingdoms so they were not really officially together from the beginning. They had a misunderstanding but did not have a break up. Once they resolved the misunderstandings, they were a solid couple. They have good chemistry and the main leads’ characters were very much in love with each other. As for the love triangle, true, the SFL was obssessed but never got one single chance with the ML no matter what. The SML was a previous sweetheart of the princess before she got hypnotized into forgetting him so her kingdom could marry her off to the ML. But much as he fought for her, the ML still won the FL’s heart, so in a way, it wasn’t really the SML’s fault. He laid his life for them in the end to save them so I wasn’t annoyed with him. If you have additional questions about this drama, please feel free to ask. Oh, and they became an official couple around episode 18. 😊

The leads didn’t break up she wanted a divorce but end followed her to reconcile
Thank you, I appreciate your comment and I am glad to hear that. I love watching romantic dramas, I could say it’s one of my stress relief hobbies, so I also love to share and recommend some of the shows I enjoyed watching to some like-minded, kindred spirits here. That’s what initially inspired me to create and share this list. 😊

Thank you for your help in working some of the kinks out on this list. I made revisions on the list description so as not to mislead the other viewers who came here expecting a very low angst, stress free shows. Those shows are out there, but are much rarer to find. Hence, I will put back “Please Be My Family” as long as there is no official break up and the couple did not separate for a long time.

With all due respect, yes, it would probably thin out this list. The plot formula for these dramas are usually not complete without any angst of sorts, even without the break up. Some angsty parts are more tolerable, but it depends really on how much the viewers can tolerate. The title is “ Dramas Where Main Leads Had No Breakup”. Hence, this list was created as such. Couples fight and have conflicts/misunderstandings and the way they resolve those issues are what makes their relationship work in the long run. Those who cannot take watching some of the conflicts that arise from the mains’ relationships probably need to look under the “Low Angst Dramas” list. You will find couples with misunderstandings on this list but that does not mean they broke up officially just because of that. They worked to resolve their issues and became stronger, and got their happy ending in the end. For viewers who do not care for a lot of angst and stress in their dramas, you’re welcome to ask for spoilers here if you want to avoid those parts.

Have you seen Memory Lost? If not, I would definitely recommend that one. 😊 It’s one of those dramas I’ve placed on my rewatch list.
