The ML’s other drama “New Life Begins” is good, too, in case you haven’t seen that one yet. And I enjoyed the FL’s other drama, Stairway To Stardom as well, even with the break up trope and the childishness of the ML. She has a ML (he’s a famous Thai actor), a second ML, and a 3rd ML in there. And there were a lot of funny scenes as well as other really entertaining scenes there, plus a very happy ending. I remember one funny scene where the ML kept interrupting the movie set when there was a kiss scene between the FL and the 3rd ML that the director had to kick him out. That did not deter the ML from throwing his coffee on the equipment when no one was looking, effectively cutting off the power on the set. 😆

I have to admit I had to avoid watching their facial expressions and I muted the sad music to get through the sad parts lol

He did, and suffered through the separation but when they reunited after that, they did not have to go through another separation again.

I got it. No worries, it’s removed from the list. I would usually just keep the ones that have unanimous votes for “no break ups/less misunderstandings “. That’s why I encourage everyone to voice out and point out if they feel a certain drama shouldn’t make it to the list. I also share special mentions if the drama does not fit the criteria but might be interesting enough to watch anyway and maybe “Please Be My Family” might be one of those special mentions. Maybe I should change my list title to “Stress-free dramas” instead. 😁

Wow, thank you so much for taking the time to share these with us. I got interested in watching your recommended dramas. So far, I’ve seen Love Is Phantom and When A Snail Falls In Love and agree with your descriptions. And I liked those 2 shows so we probably also share similar tastes. 😊

I watched this one already. I heard the two leads are dating in real life so I was curious about their drama. Episode 33 was their long separation because the emperor has to let everyone, including the ML, believe that the FL was dead, in order to save the lives of the main couple. They reunited in episode 36 after a time skip of 3 years.

For a shorty (30 episodes, 2 to 3 minute-length), this is surprisingly good. I wish it was longer but it was still done really well. Lol, the 7th prince (ML) and the FL were both crazy, I think they’re perfect for each other. They’re like the anti-hero types, forming an alliance to take revenge against those who owed them. I got to warn you, guys, the main couple are a bit on the kinky side. Which other ML in drama land would go to a male prostitute in a brothel just to learn how to please the FL in bed. Funny how they depicted bondage foreplay between couples in ancient China. But there is no break up, and the ending was a happy one, so I’m including this on our list.

Lol, you’re not the only one who feels like that. But if I recall, that so-called break up happened after their contractual dating was up. But the ML ran back to the FL because he can’t forget about her and realized that he was in love with her. So technically, I think you could argue this one as a no-break up drama. When they officially got back together they headed straight to marriage and I love how they did not rush this drama and it showed their life as a married couple. Their chemistry together was really, really good. This is actually one of my favorite dramas, too. What a beautiful ending.

It’s certainly worth a special mention here. 😊

Yes, I myself get impatient and would sometimes skip some parts if the burn is as slow as molasses lol.

Yes, they got together officially in the last part of episode 15 and the whole final episode.

From earlier on, but the ML and FL spend the most time together in every episode because they work together in the grape vineyard that the FL’s great uncle wanted her to inherit so they have the most interactions together compared to the SML.

The ML had an ex- girlfriend who wanted to get back together with him but he already fell for the FL so I could say that he already moved on at that point. The FL dated the SML but did not sleep with him. He asked her to marry him but the FL already had feelings for the ML and rejected him.
