No, there have been many over the years. Secret Garden ( Lee Jun Suk played a gay character)Reply 1998 There are…
If you mean where the central characters and plot aren't specifically gay (there is a genre for that which is quite popular now) Love With Flaws is another one.
So I was watching this when DramaFever exploded (RIP) so I picked it up again now. I am rewatching the first 8…
There is an odd tone to her acting that carries throughout the whole show. However, after a while you dont notice it as much. It just becomes part of the character.
Quick question: not trying to look for deep revealing spoilers just want to a little emotionally prepared. Is…
In the shakespearean sense? Everyone who dies did so before the story (save one side character) started and there is no wedding at the end. It waffles between the two.
This kdrama has no spark for me. I tried to watch it because everyone is giving it a perfect score. But oh what…
Its a slice of life drama with a dark dramatic background. So maybe slice of life is the issue? Slow pacing with almost no dramatic reveals except the backstory and the finale episodes. The majority focuses more on the day to day struggle of living after such events. So yeah it is slow if you arent invested. I think if you bond to one character at least it’ll get you through. It was a high rating for me because I did bond with all the cast. But if none of the characters worked for you, I’d drop it.
Not likely. She might have been his first love if she’d testified. But he states he kept meeting our FL and…
Yeah it would be hard to invest in this romance if you didnt like our FL. You are totally okay to not like her. This romance requires the audience to like both leads to understand and invest in why they liked each other. Without having that, Im sure this was a really weird watch for you.
Wait a minute... does this mean that he would have a crush on the other girl, if the other one testified instead..…
Not likely. She might have been his first love if she’d testified. But he states he kept meeting our FL and falling in love with her all over again. There is a strong element of imprinting the first and third times. The second time he was very disappointed when he found her again and he did not like her at first. But than she kept showing her true colors of justice seeking and compassion. He loved her for all the reasons the audience did. So I never felt like anyone else could have a chance if he ever met the FL.
The Love triangle is resolved within the first 10 episodes, but the guy is around the whole show...
Its one of the best parts of the show. Characters have purpose in the story outside their romantic ties. I do not love him as the other love interest but his character is pretty cool if you think about it: righteous former cop trying to save the disenfranchised to atone for his own failures as a cop learns the true meaning of justice. Plus he’s a total dork. While being a badass. Its fun.
episode one and two are too slow and boring :( when will it pick up?
Give it 4-6. It does have a slower beginning on a first watch. Rewatching it after you’ve seen the whole thing makes those first few episodes way more interesting cause you understand everything they were setting up.
