I saw an orchid growing in a tree the other day and was all, ooh!
It's funny, but also a little scary just how much a drama can affect us.

Title Si Ming
I’m like 99% sure that it won’t be them. They are currently already filming a drama together. These rumours…
By the time they start making this, the cast will probably change 300 times

It's too bad that based on the comments below, they want better known actors for the parts. It would be great to keep the actors from LBFAD. Are there any new names rumoured?

My pathetic self just got excited because I found a leaf that I have been using as a bookmark for a couple of years and it kind of looks like Chidi's broken destiny book. What has this drama done to me???

please explain!when XLH resurrected, why did she choose to let go of her XLH persona and fully take on the Goddess…
Based on what happened in the drama, she didn't really let go of her XLH persona. She remembered everything and she still loved him, but chose to pretend like she didn't remember, because she realized what her destiny is. Her destiny was to fight the evil spirit and kill him while in the process sacrificing herself. She would have to die to protect the world and the person she loves. Having XLH die again would crush him, so she pretended like she was merely Xi Yun and that XLH is already gone.

As for the change in personality, you can see it as the difference between Chang Heng and Xiao Run. It's like Xi Yun was undergoing a different life as XLH and when that experience ended, her original personality returned. Just like Chang Heng returned to his original self after Xiao Run died. He still had the memories, but it didn't change his personality. He didn't suddenly turn into the carefree and bubbly Xiao Run. Also, neither really completely gave up the feelings they cultivated as their alternate personas. Xiao Run's friendship with Dongfang Qing Cang changed Chang Heng's perspective and Xi Yun was still in love with Dongfang Qing Cang, but accepted her destiny, because there's one more important person in the world that she wanted to protect.

Well, at least that's how I understood it.

Time has flown by so fast watching this drama. It's an absolute gem. Whoever is still hesitating, just give it a shot. I fell in love with this drama in the first episode. All the characters were brought to life superbly. Yu Shu Xin and Wang He Di were an absolute delight to watch. It was very clear that they completely embodied their characters and gave their all. The funny scenes are hilarious, the cute scenes are absolutely adorable and the sad scenes are heartbreaking. The production team also did a great job making this drama visually stunning, from costumes to sets to the CGI. As Di Di said in the fan meet, it's not really goodbye, because we can rewatch this drama whenever we want or need.

I'm really excited for this one after LBFAD. At the very least I expect this to be visually stunning. I admit, I would have preferred the same cast as LBFAD to keep me in the same universe and because what we got to see of the characters, however brief, was well acted, but both Yang Mi and Gong Jun have proven in the past they can embody their characters really well, so I don't expect any issues in the acting department. Can't wait!

Just finished episode 34 and I already know this drama will be hard to let go of. Wang He Di did an amazing job. I remember when I watched Miss The Dragon and thought that he was fun to watch and did a good job portraying his character and only lacked a bit in emotional scenes. I know that a lot of people were not happy with his portrayal in Miss The Dragon, but I actually was in the minority that liked his performance (although that drama was overall a little disappointing). Here he was absolutely magnetic. He played his character perfectly. The adorable scenes, the sassy scenes, the scary scenes and the emotional scenes were all on point. This will definitely be one of the most unforgettable characters in Xianxia dramas ever. This is the first time that I'm seeing Yu Shu Xin in a drama and I must admit that I absolutely loved her performance. Whether she's the cute Orchid, the scary Dongfang Qing Cang or the detached Goddess Xi Yun, she played it all very convincingly. I haven't even finished this drama yet, but I know that I will definitely be rewatching it in the future.

I don't know what Cristy Guo is teaching to her students but all of them are falling in love with her .
I wouldn't call it love in either of the dramas, seeing as they both turned evil, which shows that they had absolutely no respect for her teachings or her choices. More like an obsession.

Finally finished this beautiful 56 episode journey and I must say that for a long drama, this one managed to entertain me almost at all times. There were some scenes/people I could have lived without seeing, but all in all this was a very entertaining drama. It was funny at times and sad at others and even the quiet moments were beautiful to watch and not boring at all. The first part served as a nice introduction and the second part gave conclusion to the important conflicts. I really liked Cheng Shao Shang's evolution as a character. She started out naive, immature and at times selfish, but grew into a thoughtful, brave and compassionate person, while somehow still staying true to herself. It was also nice to see the lonely Huo Bu Yi gain a family as close knit as the Chengs and finally start to rely on and trust Shao Shang. I must admit that I got really attached to some of the characters.

To those hesitating to watch this, give it a shot. It's worth it.

I love him sooo much too! He's hysterical when Yue gets going on someone! They expressions on his face!
I loved those scenes. As the Emperor he has to hold back sometimes, but he lets Yue Heng go all out.
