I like the names of the two sisters. Ye Tan means night epiphyllum (a cactus flower that blooms only at night, also called the "princess of the night"), and Qing Kui means skyblue sunflower. They are like night and day, dark and light.
Maybe the director or editor's choice in order to convey something? (as someone speculated a lot of comments back)…
Not only that, but they also deleted one kiss scene, one scene of their noses touching (it was in the trailer), and they also cut short the "spinning in midair" kiss. These are all precious couple moments. I saw ppl on Douban getting really mad about it, that's why I asked.
I just started this drama and I heard that many main couple moments and kiss scenes were cut out from the drama. That's really disappointing to hear. Does anyone know why they did it?
Since 2021FL and 2022ML had to change the past to save people, the original timeline of 2022ML was bound to disappear.…
The 2022 ML timeline disappears. They opened a new timeline where new things will happen. Even when 2021 ML reaches April 2022, the events we saw before will not happen, because they changed the history. So 2022 ML is gone forever.
FINALLY! Long awaited confession and smooch. I just wish she wasn’t so hesitant about being open about it. CP…
Same thoughts about the WJ and HY couple. They're not supposed to be tgt, that's just unhealthy. WJ did nothing wrong and shouldn't have to live with guilt for the rest of his life. He should find and be with someone he truly loves. And HY is super immature; she thinks people should choose her father over all those other innocent lives.
At ep22 now, and the ML is seriously getting on my nerves. Always arrogant, always blowing his temper for nothing,…
It was said that although Qi people live 3 times longer than humans, it also takes them 3 times longer to mature into adulthood, and in addition to that, their five senses are strong but their intellect not as much. They have more of a beastly instinct and tend to act impulsively, they're not as civilized as the Qian people, that's why their kingdom is weaker than Qian kingdom. ML is actually very young and still immature, he has just reached adulthood.
Staying at Qian for a long time seems to help him become more calm and composed, so I hope he gets that character development.
According to the ceremony he’s supposed to fight in, those only happen when the prince is close to 200. They…
Haha, HZ is older than almost every guy who appeared in the series, yet his mental age is like an 18-20 year old. That explains why he's kind of immature and impulsive. By mental age, he and Jiu Er are about the same age XD
And don't forget this mysterious illness of hers, that she is expected to die much much sooner than in 90. Actually…
I know the reason for her illness. The original writer spoiled it online. I made another comment here before with the spoiler, but if you want to know, here it is:

[[Spoiler]] The Sacred Ember is inside the FL's body.
I came across a spoiler from the original writer:[SPOILER ALERT].......The torch flame that went missing in Qi…
It might be related to FL's father as well. Her father seemed to be involved in Qi affairs at the same time as rumors of Mu Yan taking the flame to Qian kingdom started. Maybe he got caught up in the incident and the flame somehow entered his daughter's body.
There is so much plot but so little plot at the same time... if ya know what I mean😂😂😂They made everything…
In the novel, FL and ML both died, and it was Wang Yue who revived them so that they could live in the sword until they cultivated new bodies. In the drama, Wang Yue is sealed, so them surviving as sword spirits is complete deus ex machina pulled from the writers asses. Not only do they not let protagonists do bad things, but even antagonists cannot do one good thing for once? Guess Wang Yue kept calling himself a good person for nothing. 🤣
And don't forget this mysterious illness of hers, that she is expected to die much much sooner than in 90. Actually…
Yeah I'm also curious how they will resolve this. The drama looks like it'll have a happy ending, judging from the calendar emojis.
Jiu Er is probably gonna be fine as long as she can have her battery charged. But I think they're going to have her illness cured by the end of the drama.
Qi lifespan is around 3 times longer than Qian/humans, so if HZ is 60 years old in Qi years, then he's as old as a 20 year old human being. Assuming Jiu Er is also 20 and is a human, by the time she dies of old age at 90, HZ will still have 140 years left to live. And since Qi people only have one lifetime partner, that means he has to stay alone for 140 years. Man that's tough to even think about...

There was an episode (forgot which) that mentioned Han Zheng is only 60 years old, which is equivalent to the human/Qian age of 18-20. So he is a young man who has just become an adult.
Qi lifespan is around 3 times longer than humans, so an easy conversion would be to take their age and divide it by 3 to figure out what their age is in human years. A 200 year old Qi person is like a 60 year old human.
Ok, so here are the remaining episodes from 35-41. Yes, I said 41. The apps show you what happens 100 years later...enjoy!Episode…
There is so much plot but so little plot at the same time... if ya know what I mean😂😂😂 They made everything so unnecessarily complicated without serving any purpose at all. Yu Du poisons LYF with the Phoenix Tears, then tells Qin Ke to undo it by getting the blood antidote. Qin Ke feeds CZ the Zhu Rong fruit to turn her back to normal, only for her to turn back into a demon a few episodes later. And then they throw the sword down the ravine, but it gets found again. LYF dies, and then does not die. Randomly becomes sword spirits with CZ without any explanation on how that is supposed to happen.
What the actual heck is this plot? Even an AI writes better than this.
