I think you misunderstood what I said. According to the news article, people were spreading false rumors that PMY was involved in the case. But she wasn't. I was referring to ppl's false claims that she was involved, not the other way around.

FL has multiple ppl crushing on her at the same time, but screen time wise should be Qin Ke. Then young master Zhuo, and then later on the demon king Wang Yue.

Yeah and Chong Zi is not the type to obey orders anyway. She is so free spirited and does the exact opposite of what she was told. Forcing her to obey or trying to control her wouldn't have worked. The shifu is using the right way - to let her be herself while gradually teaching her important lessons and life attitudes.

The Starry Love is a romcom with a potential sad ending, while Chong Zi is a melodrama with a potential happy ending. I'm enjoying both, so maybe you can try them both and see.

She will be only person who still believes Bai Yi ge ge is not a bad person. They will at some point be cooperating and they share an amount of screentime tgt.

Honestly I'll be satisfied as long as they give us a lengthy happy ending, not a last minute happy ending like a lot of xianxia dramas do. I read the novel and the epilogue was really long and sweet. They should include that part in the ending.

This actually has a very angsty and dramatic storyline. Once that part starts, it goes all the way till the end. The beginning is the only part where people can actually relax, both the characters and the viewers. From the episode previews, the drama is going to happen soon.

I read the novel last night and totally got sucked into it. Needless to say, I did not end up getting any sleep. The story is so sad, it's the most angsty xianxia I've ever seen (and I've seen most of them). And all that time I wanted to slap some sense out of the leads. Especially the waaay too principled ML. I know the world and responsibilities are important, but if you love someone you love someone, you can't fight your feelings. Luckily after everything, they still get a happy ending. The epilogue was really cute. I hope it's in the drama too.

Their sexual tension starts after FL becomes a demon, and at that point she is no longer innocent like now. She became a disciple when she was 14, so she behaved like a child, but once she's near 20 by the end of the story, she is described as beautiful and seductive, and like a grown woman.

I finally took some time to read the novel yesterday, thinking there would be some misunderstandings too. But it turns out that there aren't any, the harm done by the leads to each other is real. The main drag of the story will probably be about the ML trying to suppress his feelings and "do the right thing", but end up failing miserably. Lol

She does recognize him soon, when they stand and face each other. I assume she didn't at first because of his robe and his changed appearance. People do look more "demony" after they turn into demons, according to the og novel.

I take it as, this is basically a story about a FL who suffers to the very end due to so-called fate. It's kind of the main theme of the story, she's meant to live a tragic life although she did nothing wrong.

In modern dramaland, people seem to use the harem and reverse harem tag/genre more loosely than its original definition. Any drama that has multiple people crushing on the lead would already be deemed a harem or reverse harem. I think that's like a convention here?
