Ikr? Honestly I don't know why they like to make all the FLs like that. I'm enjoying this drama and I'm okay with the FL here, but I can understand how frustrating it is for people who are tired of immature whiny FLs. It's 2023, they should write FLs with more variety.
Storyline sounds very similar to Journey of Flower. Not very surprising since plagiarism is rampant in Cdrama…
The novels came out at a similar time and there were other novels at that time that also had a similar story. Basically, the master-disciple forbidden love story was a trend at the time, so everyone wrote about it.
Those immortal realm/ righteous sects are sometimes very annoying, arrogant and a bunch of cowards who bully demons.…
They keep sacrificing innocent individuals in the name of "the world". It really goes to show that good and evil is not clear cut and if those high ground immortals think they are all that good, they should think again.
I like one quote from the novel: "Whether someone is good or evil depends on themselves. If you think an immortal is always deemed good no matter what evil they do, or if you think a demon is always evil simply because they are demon, then you are the one who is evil".
Will Wan Jie be close to her in her next life as well and is there any significance of the guy she saved in the…
Wan Jie is going to die in this life, and he's not going to come back. He is dead dead :(
[More spoilers] Originally he has a fragment of his soul left in the sword that makes it possible to revive him, so FL tries to steal the sword again to save him, but gets caught and that's when things get horrible for the FL.
I'm not sure who she saved in the restaurant, but I remember in the novel, she saved someone but that someone backstabbed her later on. I think it happened in her second life tho. Not sure how close the drama adapts from the novel or whether they changed this part.
Is Wan Jie going to die? 😠I need some spoilers.
Unfortunately yes. After he befriends the FL, he decides to end his own life so the FL can bring the demon sword back to the immortal tribe.

Should be before the middle point, at around ep.13-14 as hinted by the airing schedule calendar.
Only her master knows her identity. She doesn't remember her past life. Later on, some of her friends will find out the truth, and help her regain her memories. She turns evil after remembering that she suffered from the same fate in her past life.
I see a lot of complaints about the FL's voice - she is being dubbed over by Xu Jia Qi - very familar and been…
At least half of the Chinese idol romance dramas have FLs with cute and whiny voices. It's a trend that keeps continuing even though a lot of viewers don't actually enjoy it. People should blame the production companies who keep pumping out that stuff, not the actresses who were basically asked to behave like that for the role
Rumors said that this probably will air after TSL. Also TLP after CZ. That will be tougher battle than TSL x CZ…
BFTB against TLP is such a bad idea... Only drama that could possibly compete in heat index would be TTEOTM. I'd rather they aired BFTB at another time for better results.

It's pretty much like what the third paragraph of the synopsis says. The master tries to take care of his disciple better than before, he seals off her evil miasma and tries to hide her identity from the others, but eventually it still gets exposed by evil people. She gets punished the second time, even though she was innocent in both occasions, so her hatred turns her evil.
Don't know why so many people are complaining about the fls character, I've watched about 4 episode's and there's…
Totally agree. I think when FL rebels, it's usually for good reasons. For starters, she doesn't exactly understand how threatening her power is to the world. Because she knows clearly she is a good person. Secondly, what she does is usually of a virtuous nature. She may seem disrespectful, but she talks back at those immortals because they are unethical. She befriends "evil demons" because they are actually good and just misunderstood. She fights people because they were bullying her. Tbh, she's the good guy here, and it's the others who are trying to take away the freedom and the life of the innocent, by making up hypocritical excuses. I admire FL for fighting back.
Yeah and Chong Zi is not the type to obey orders anyway. She is so free spirited and does the exact opposite of…

I don't understand why MDL should get hate for posting negative news. If the content in the article is factual and verifiable, then it is news. News is a reporting of facts to inform people of what happened. It doesn't have to always be positive or be meaningful to every single person. So some people will find it irrelevant to themselves, if they don't care about the actors' and actress's private lives. People like me for example. Then we simply can ignore the article. But there are people who do care, such as the fans of those actors. They might want a central place where they can find info and updates on what happened to their idols. And that makes these news valuable to some. It is not the reporter's position to make a judgment on what should be reported and what not. It is the reader's decision to filter the info themselves and apply their own critical judgment. If we live in a society where you are only fed partial news, news that they want you to see, positive news, news that only appeal to certain people's values or political stance, then that would be a dystopian society. News media is meant to be neutral. I don't think MDL is wrong for posting news on actors, unless the news includes fake info or personal opinions of the editor, none of which are present here.
