Melon says that this will either come after Lighter & Princess or Shining Just For You, but either way it's going to be within Dec. Both the director and Youku posted on weibo a few days ago saying it is coming very soon.

Kinda weird that this drama is rumored to be the first xianxia to air in Dec but there is not even an official trailer yet. They should at least give us some clips :(

This is the best mini C-drama series I've ever watched. I usually stay away from short dramas because of low budget and bad writing in general, but this one had the quality of a full length drama. The story is suspenseful, the leads have great chemistry, and the cinematography is great. I actually didn't want it to end that quickly.

This drama was waaaaaay too long. It combined the stories from all the other versions + the manga. It took me 3 tries and I still couldn't watch the whole thing. The furthest I went was to ep.38 and I was SO close to finishing it, but I had lost all my passion by then. Maybe because I had already watched all the other versions before and knew the story, I didn't find much entertainment value in this. The actors were fine, they suited their role, but they didn't bring something new to the table. The Japanese version was fun and witty, the K-version was so ridiculously cliche and chaotic that it became a guilty pleasure, and the Taiwanese version was tacky due to how old it was, but the emotions there were SOOO raw and intense. This Chinese version felt like just another high school youth drama. I'm afraid this did not do it for me :(

They should remove "Season 1" from the title because season 2 is not confirmed.

They shouldn't have added "Season 1" to the title... it makes people think that season 2 is confirmed, but no, it's not confirmed and the odds of it happening is extremely slim.

I was talking about the wedding scene. I heard they wrote their own script and read it out. It really helped them immerse themselves into the character. Felt like they were actually getting married XD

That last scene (in spoilers) was beautiful... amazing acting from the leads, they were completely in character and their emotions were real.

Absolutely hilarious! What a hidden gem of a drama. I laughed almost every episode, which doesn't happen often. It's a fun watch and I'd recommend. Leads are cute too.

There was a rumor that it was going to air earlier, in Dec, but that's just a melon and I'd take it with a grain of salt. The original approximate launch date was Q1/winter season of 2023.

Most of the xianxia dramas in the pipeline have melons saying they will air in Dec, but I doubt they will clash like that. It's not good for the viewership ratings.

Sad that all the xianxia dramas I've been looking forward to have been delayed...
