I watched the first 6 episodes and the drama is decent. It's not a masterpiece, but a 7.9 MDL score is a bit too low. The personalities of the leads are not very likable, and I'm not a fan of the acting, but the story is intriguing and some scenes are pretty funny. The romance hasn't really started yet so I can't comment on how good it will be, but so far I think it's a good enough drama to pass the time while waiting for the next groundbreaking drama.

The person who was running away didn't look like Chi Yu tho. He was shorter.

The only role I liked from Chen Yuqi was her role in Ashes of Love. I don't think she has enough presence or skill to be FL yet.

I have a feeling that Chi Yu is a present reincarnation of Qin Yu, and when he was in a coma, Qin Yu time travelled to the present and replaced him? So when Qin Yu goes back to the past, Chi Yu will wake up and retain all the memories Qin Yu had with the FL, so there will be a happy ending. This is usually how this type of time travel is written. Especially when actual time travel is not allowed due to censorship.

I think it makes sense cuz she knows him as a famous actor in the past. She should be able to recognize his face or find screenshots of his movies for comparison?

Yeah these censorship rules cause them to have to find all sorts of excuses to make time travel work. I usually watch these dramas with the idea that I'll just imagine the time travel was all real and ignore the official explanation the drama provides, be it coma, dream, novel or whatever. Knowing the writer's original intent is enough for me.

Lol... whoever wrote this drama must have a dirty mind!! I only watched the first few episodes and I saw handcuffs, rope, booty grabbing, hair sniffing, accidentally barging into a bath scenes?? And then that kiss on ep.6... I'm surprised it got past censorship🤯

I was also really looking forward to Deng Lun and Ni Ni's drama!!! It's a shame that that one has a risk of never being able to be broadcasted. I hope Deng Lun's issue gets resolved.

I'm thinking about watching See You Again which is the next iQiyi Sweet On series. It's going to air on the 5th and finish airing in 2 weeks. I think it will be a sweet and funny romcom.

Unless another drama as good as this one comes along, I won't be able to let go of it anytime soon😢
