I'm guessing DFQC changed fate and caused XLH to get married to him instead of Xiao Run like what the sky mirror showed. It seems that the events in the sky mirror are changeable. As for the relationship chart, "Dream Lovers" means a one-sided crush in Chinese (you can see that the arrows are one-sided too) so it basically just means Xiao Run loves XLH, and Xie Wan Qing loves DFQC. But it's not reciprocal.

The human lady is Chi Di Nu Zi (previous goddess of war) and Rong Hao's master whom he wants to revive. She is the one who sealed DFQC's soldiers in the battle. Orchid is Xilan goddess, another person.

In the sky mirror, we saw XLH and CH getting married both in mortal realm and in heavenly realm. But in the trailers, we see XLH and DFQC getting married in the mortal realm.

I can't wait for them to finally be tgt, but this ambiguous stage is also really sweet. I think the drama did a great job at laying down the groundwork for their relationship (especially the latest episodes). The romance is not rushed, feelings accumulate for convincing reasons, they support and balance each other in different ways, etc. The screenwriters know what they're doing.

I hope they have kids like in the novel

I heard Esther Yu's crying wasn't on the script. She cried because they were both very into their character, especially Di Di. Hands down the most emotional performance of the duo at the moment!

They should have! This hairstyle is a lot closer to what was described in the novel too.

Yeah, I like how the logic makes sense in this drama, which seems to be a basic thing in storytelling that many actually fail to achieve nowadays. The screenwriters actually think, unlike other dramas where it's clearly a quick cash grab that treats the audience like idiots. Like you said, people say and do things that make sense to their motivations.

I don't know if your taste is similar to mine, but it's definitely worth a try :)

I feel really bad for Chang Heng too, but I think DFQC and Little Orchid are a better pairing.

I also went into this thinking it would be a guilty pleasure drama, but it exceeded my expectations in many ways. It's so good that I can't really pit it against other actual guilty pleasure dramas that tend to be waaaay worse in terms of production quality, logic/brains and character depth.

Yeah, it seems like he will go rampant and lose control/unleash all his demon powers while facing off all those heavenly realm soldiers. He looks creepy in that scene, and in the next scene, we see Xilan goddess struggling to push some sort of barrier. Maybe there will be a major showdown between DFQC and the heavenly realm, and Xilan goddess will be a part of it, trying to maintain peace or something.

That would be an amazing ending. I rmb the maid said DFQC has a lot of potential in making wooden sculptures, and that if he were not a demon king, he would probably be carving sculptures. I do want him to continue to be a demon king though, but he can be doing that as a side gig or sth, idk XD

I'm a romance addict, but I gotta say, I haven't been so invested in a couple for years.

I'll be really sad when this ends. I'm afraid to even think about it. It's like there's gonna be a hole in my heart :(

I think it was a great choice to use Dylan's own voice for the body swapped parts, cuz his voice is more high pitched than the other dubbed voice, so it suits his portrayal of XLH's cheerful and quirky personality more. The deeper one, on the other hand, adds a LOT of characterization to his devil side.

Thought I was the only one who thought he looked really good with all his hair down!!
