I doubt he wants the throne anymore, cuz he understood his incompetence, and it seems like he genuinely wants to save the clan. But, he doesn't care about Lanhua's life at all and if she causes problems to DFQC, Xunfeng will definitely not hesitate to want her dead.

I feel like by the time this drama gets into the later half, it's going to be as angsty as IS if not worse. It starts as a comedy, but it seems that it will get more and more serious.

I looked it up and, wow, it is a very beautiful flower and it looks magical! Great choice to have it featured in a xianxia, imo

So well said. She is not a weak character, she is strong in her own way. Emotional intelligence and empathy are a form of strength too, but it often goes unappreciated.

Same! I was watching the other dramas at the same time, but all I could think about was this drama. I'm dying waiting for new episodes every day, while rewatching all my favorite scenes. I've never behaved like this for a drama before.

At the start of their encounter, FL touched DFQC's heart tree. FL has the ability to heal any plants, so her touch was able to make his heart tree grow some leaves. His heart tree is basically his heart, which was originally frozen and wilted. This is probably what opened the opportunity for him to develop feelings for her.

Xilan goddess never appeared in the drama. She was only mentioned in the prologue, which is the first minute of the first episode.

Rong Hao said he can save his master now, because he discovered that Little Orchid is Xilan goddess. Xilan goddess's soul has the ability to revive lost souls, so he wants to sacrifice her to revive his master.

I really adore the scene where DFQC sprinkled the flower petals to make Little Orchid happy. He even TOOK HIS RING OFF to feel her happiness!!! OMG my heart, I can't <3

Xilan goddess existed thousands of years ago. Her tribe got killed off by DFQC, so nobody knows about Xilan goddess's whereabouts, whether she is dead or live, etc. Little Orchid is part of the primordial spirit of Xilan goddess. She has no memories of her past life and was saved by Siming and reborn into an orchid flower. I think she will eventually become Xilan goddess again. Not sure if she will still have her current memories by then tho.

They had a happy ending. The drama is super different from the novel, so I don't know if the ending will be different, but I doubt they will go for a sad ending when the source material has a happy ending. Plus, it's iQIYI Sweet On series, they never have sad endings!

That does not happen in the novel. The drama is very different from the novel, so everything is very unpredictable at this point.
